Standard moisturizer

This stuff is just like your standard moisturizer.

I don't think it does anything amazing but it does work.

It comes in either a tub or a squeeze tube, both very easy to use. It's a very light texture that sinks in really well and quickly into the skin.

The thing that I love about this product the most is how nostalgic it smells. It brings me back to my childhood when I would sit on my grandma's lap while she put on some cold cream on her face.

This moisturizer is really great to put in your handbag as a hand cream as it's very fast absorbing and works well at moisturizing the skin.

It didn't get on with my face though, so anyone with sensitive skin like me should be cautious and try it on a small patch of their face first.

I particularly liked this for my legs and arms, which is what I mostly use it for.

Generally, this product is quite nice. But it doesn't do anything mind blowing. I would probably not repurchase this for a while but it is a good, cheap find.

Diamond in the rough

This is a great plain moisturiser. I don't think its actually meant for use as a face moisturiser but its does a great job there too. My face can be picky - I wouldn't call it sensitive but it will get dry and fuel spots if it doesn't like what I'm putting it through. I found this moisturiser to be the break that my skin needed from 'special formulas' and targeted fixes that just weren't working for me.

I have stopped using it recently, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. It's definitely not my favourite, but it does a good job and it worth a shot if you skin just needs a break or something plain.

My Desert Island product!

If I could only have one body product it would be this cream. I have purchased this time and time again and it is my most preferred handcream. I also love this as my all over body cream in winter when my skin is at it's worst! It also makes a great foot cream worn under socks before bedtime. I also have used in in a pinch as a cream cleanser, a face cream and a leave in conditioner. I have also used it as an emergency lip treatment and it worked pretty well too. I have this in large tubs, tubes and a tiny wee tub for my handbag. Consistency - thick yet lightweight at the same time, makes me feel instantly hydrated and the scent is a mix of traditional nivea but with an aquatic note which is very soothing and refreshing and somehow seems to meld well with all of my perfumes without overpowering. The jojoba oil seems to sink deep down into the layers a lot better than Soft's sister product the deep navy blue jar of Nivea cream which is more like a barrier cream (which I also adore). For me the original Nivea despite being heavier is better for my face for long term use as soft will break me out if I use it continuously (around the hair/jawline) but the weird thing is it is surprisingly soothing and I sometimes use it as a calming cream on insect bites and hives too, maybe my face is just extra sensitive? Anyway I love this moisturiser and it is great value and I also really like that they have removed the parabens from this product in recent times.

Tips: Get the big jar for home and the squeeze tube for on the go!

Really good value

I bought a tub of this when it was on special in the supermarket, its a good reliable standby and call call me old fashioned, but there is nothing wrong with using good old, simple old unsophisticated Nivea! I am a Nivea fan from way back as you can see from previous reviews and this cream is as good as its word. It is silky smooth and easy to blend, its not sticky and that evocative scent from Granny's dressing table is still as pleasing as it was then. Not only is Nivea Soft is a great body moisturiser, its a good simple face cream as well.

Tips: Its a perfect one pot pack for a weekend away!

Holy grail moisturiser!

I personally only use this on my body; I have used it on my face but I found it to be a bit too heavy under my makeup, other than that it was great. It has that signature nivea smell and I love it! It's really affordable and you can buy it almost anywhere. I usually buy the tub just because I feel like I can find it easier than the tube but I feel like the tube would be more sanitary as you're not sticking your fingers in it all the time.

Tips: Buy it in the tube!

Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream <3

I am a fan of Nivea products just also based on the scent and how it really moisturize my skin leaving it real smooth and soft.

I purchased the tube because its more sanitary and is easy to put in your bag.

I highly recommend this products just based on how it leaves your skin feeling silky smooth & its so affordable.

Nice n creamy all the way.

Have to give this product top marks seeing that I have purchased it over and over again. It's the only moisturiser that my husband seems to like using seeing that it comes in a 200ml pot for $12.99 at the supermarket. It lasts us a good three to four months. The texture is very soft and creamy, easy to spread and does make your skin feel moisturised and replenished. You can use it as a day or night cream and it's suitable for hands and body. No irritating strong smell and thankfully no reactions.

Tips: Great as a aftershave balm and moisturiser.

Great daily moisturiser

This is a great everyday moisturiser with the typical fresh Nivea scent. I usually buy this in the tub as I think it is better value for money, but, the tube is super handy for on the go (in the car or handbag etc).

It has a lovely consistency which is creamy but still light. This means it sinks into the skin quickly, but, still leaves your skin feeling sufficiently hydrated.

This isn't the best value for money body moisturiser out there (it is still affordable though), but, is a good reliable moisturiser which will always nourish dry skin. Personally I prefer to purchase body lotions in a pump bottle as I find I will be more likely to use it on a regular basis if I can do so quickly, so I will probably not repurchase. In saying that, I would not hesitate to recommend this to others looking for a nice body moisturiser that wont just sit on the skin, absorbs quickly and still provides lots of needed hydration to the skin.

Tips: Use daily after showering for super soft and hydrated skin.

Moisturising cream

My everyday moisturiser. Its creamy and absorbs into your skin so easily. With some moisturisers ive found that they can leave an oily residue, Nivea Soft Moisturising cream is definitely not one of those creams. A little goes a long way with it. I got this product on sale for $7 at the warehouse and it has lasted me over 6 months daily moisturising my face. Its not one of those products that's cheap because it doesnt work, its something that is definitely worth spending money on whether its $7, $14 or $100. I will continue to buy this product. I have normal to dry skin and i apply this morning and night and my skin is so hydrated throughout the day.

Nivea Soft moisturising cream

I love this product. I only use it on my face and neck. I have sensitive skin. I like the fact that it doesn't have a strong fragrance, it's quite thick and creamy but light at the same time, goes on easily, moisturises well and is not sticky. My 20 year old daughter has also been using it as her facial moisturiser for several years now and she also loves it.

Tips: Buy the tub for better value.
