Ive kept a bottle of this since my Mum first got it for me as a teenager, so many uses! pimples, cat scratches, cuts, mozzy bites, brilliant general antiseptic for the whole family. Handy for the handbag too, I wipe down public toilets with it before I go lol. Great as a Hand sanitizer (just don't rub your eye's afterwards!). I also love that I can just grab it with my groceries, I wish I could get all my essential oils at the supermarket!

Tips: Tea tree oil is aparently toxic to pets though, I can't remember if its both cats and dogs or not, probably best to look that up - the cat screws his face up everytime I get it out. He'll smack the bottle out of my hand if I point it at him lol.
All week I have gone tea tree oil crazy. Any little niggle or household problem has warranted a google search to see if this amazing product can help. Generally, much to my delight, I've found it can!
My main motive behind wanting this trial was my poor long suffering scalp. For probably a decade now I've had the annoying and often embarrassing problem of dry flakey scalp. I have tried just about every product for dandruff before I realised that it wasn't dandruff at all but dryness and they were making it worse. Products designed for this haven't worked at all either. I have had some limited success with olive and coconut oil but only enough that I usually use them The night before a salon visit to save the horrifying conversation the hairdresser inevitably has with me about how dry my scalp is (as if I'm not aware of this).
I have been meaning to try tea tree oil for a long time but have never got around to buying a bottle. This week I can happily report that after mixing in a drop with my shampoo days later I still have no flakes. Words cannot express what this means to me, it's going to be life changing if this is a permanent solution. No longer will I have to check my shoulders when I wear dark clothes for specks, no longer will I have to do a "part check" before I leave the house to make sure there aren't visible flakes.
I have also been using tea tree oil for a multitude of household uses. I absolutely love the smell can't get enough. * I added a few drops to the mopping water and left my whole house smelling fresh * I use cloth nappies on my daughter but of late they've started to have a slight ammonia pong to them. A few drops added to the wash has cleared this right up. * A teaspoon added to a spray bottle of water can be used to freshen and sanitise surface in the bathroom and kitchen, again leaving those rooms smelling fresh.
I LOVE that the smell isn't overpoweringly chemically.
Tips: So so many. Far too many to list. Google for yourself "tea tree oil uses" and buy a bottle of this. It's so handy to have it's definitely a staple in thsi house from now on.
I love this tea tree oil because it is so versatile. I use it in a cleansing mist, as a spot treatment for pimples and in my shampoo to keep those pesky nits (I'm a junior school teacher) at bay. It is so easy to use and a very effective treatment.
Tips: Be careful using it near open wounds. It is very strong and will sting or burn.
I purchased this to use when I had my ears pierced as an extra cleanser to keep the new piercing clean and sterile.
I purchased it from Pak n save, and at less than $10 it’s a really great buy. It’s a great size and has a little dispenser dropper inside in neck of the bottle so only a small amount comes out at a time - no wastage!
I’ve since purchased 2 more and added them to our first aid kit and caravan. The product is fantastic for cuts, scrapes, pimples....just such a great all-round product that is now a core staple for our home.
Tips: Keep in the first aid kit and in the car - you’ll never know when you need it! Make sure to apply with a cotton bud or pad - don’t use your fingertips on the dispenser to keep it sterile
I will always keep this in my bathroom. Initially it was for skin blemishes to stop infection and to treat mozzie bites, but now I am using it on my feet around my toenails
Tips: I use an eye dropper and put a drop around each tail nail after a shower. It feels good as some of them are horrible and thickened, possibly a fungal thing, maybe old age! On reading my review I see a typo....no! not a tail nail!!! I hope you all guessed toe nail
This stuff is a great natural alternative for so many things. Great on cuts to keep them clean, pimples to help clear skin up faster, mosquito bites and any other infection susceptible areas. Affordable and useful item for your first aid kit. Have found all the Thursday Plantation products I have used to be very well priced and of great quality. Highly Recommended.
This is an absolute must in our house. At the moment I pop about 10 drops into a spray bottle with a mix of water and conditioner and spray onto my daughters hair every morning before school to keep those pesky "nits" at bay. The nits tend to hate the smell of the Tea Tree and sends them on their way! I also use a few drops in my facial cleanser to help heal any breakouts and prevent new ones popping up. I like to add some drops in a bucket when cleaning the floor for added anti-bacterial action and leaves a lovely clean, fresh smell in the house.
I've been using this tea tree oil since I was 12 (11 years!!) so that goes to show I'm a believer. I use this on absolutely everything. It's healing, it's antimicrobial and it's soothing. I use it on cuts and scratches and to heal any zits that might pop up. I applied it to a hang nail that got a little infected and it healed it right up. I actually need to buy another bottle because I gave mine to my friend to use on a surgery scar which was healing up. She loves it!
Tips: use it to treat and prevent any infections. Great for pimples!
I love these natural remedy oils and tea tree is a must have in my cupboard. I have found this brand to be good quality and fantastic value for money and this product is my go to when I am in need of tea tree oil. Tea Tree has great antibacterial properties so it's handy for all the scrapes and scratches, itchy bites, stings and spots. It has a pretty potent aroma though so if using on the face be careful not to get near eyes. Would definitely recommend this brand of tea tree oil and will continue to repurchase this brand.
I've never used pure Tea Tree Oil before I've only used it as a main ingredient in skin care ranges when I was younger, mainly when I was suffering from spots.
The packaging is fine - a sturdy glass bottle, with a convenient dropper so you don't use too much product (more about that later)
It smells strong, but not unpleasant.
I received this at the right time - 1 day later a huge blind spot appeared on my chin, annoying for two reasons; 1, date night was looming, 2, nothing more annoying than an unsqueezable.
So I applied tea tree around 3 times a day - 2 days later the spot was no longer red, and it never produced a head. Good times!
Overall - this is a fantastic product. And so cheap - for how little you have to use it will last for ages!
Tips: Don't use too much - seriously 3 drops of this is enough in a bucket of water to mop your floor! I used about 10 drops the first time - my house smelt so strongly I had to have the doors open! (That being said this is a kick-booty addition to your cleaning range, diluted in water it's a fantastic surface cleaner too) This is great for drying up spots - I like to put a drop on the end of a cotton bud and press to the spot. Expect the sting!
