Tips: Pop a bottle in your first aid kit!
My midwife recommended tea tree oil when my little ones cord came off early and the tummy button wasn't looking that fab - dabbed some on twice a day and it came right.
Since then I've used it on the odd spot and once the little person goes to kindy will be mixing it with water and spraying it on her hair as I've heard it helps repel the dreaded nits!
Definitely a must-have in your medicine cupboard.
This stuff is fantastic for everything from cuts to acne! Love is. Great antiseptic, can't recommend it enough.
Love this product. This is one item that HAS to be in my medicine cupboard. I use it for pimples, getting rid of nits, cleaning and I'm sure if I knew of any other uses, would use it for that too.
Tips: For getting rid of pimples, dab a bit on your blemish and leave overnight. For getting rid of nits apply to olive oil, place a cap on and leave overnight, use nit comb next day. Also apply 10 drops of Tea Tree, 10 drops of Lavender, 10 drops of Basil to olive oil, mix and rub into hair from top to bottom and leave overnight. Comb through next day and wash out.
Tea tree oil is an antibiotic so is great as a spot treatment. I find this reduces inflammation and makes my spots smaller when I apply just before bed
Tips: Be sure to dilute with a carrier oil as pure tea tree oil can cause chemical burns when applied to skin. Apply to spots using a cotton bud soaked in water
I love using more natural things on my skin and this was fantastic. I got my nose pierced and I used this on it when it was infected I also have scarring on my face from pimples and this reduced them majorly. It also soaked in to my skin and reduced my amount of pimples and didn't make my skin oily!!
Tips: I love washing my face at night and using a cotton wool pad, wipe tea tree all over my face. Once it has all been soaked in to my skin I moisturise as usual and go to bed. My skin feels ridiculously smooth now :)
It is a must have for the house. I use it for washing cloth nappies and towels as it work as an antibacterial agent. It is also good for cleaning wounds to reduce the chance of infection. It also helps making pimples dried up quicker.
Tips: For cleaning wounds mix a couple of drops of tea tree oil with warm water, use cotton balls/pad and dab the area carefully
I use this as a spot treatment before bed and it's better than any pimple creams I've ever used. Being natural is a big bonus too.
I am a teacher and I had it recommended to me to put this in my shampoo as apparently it is a natural deterrent for head lice. I don't know about any scientific results to support this but have not has lice even though I have come into contact with many children who have. After reading the other reviews I will be using it for a lot more! It does have quite a potent smell though, so be prepared for that.
Tips: Put a few drops right into your shampoo bottle.
I love the smell though you can accidentally use too much and it becomes overpowering. I use it for acne and bites. Definitely something to keep in the cupboards when you run out of creams.
