I recently tried the Dr. LeWinn’s Serum Series – Renew and I have to say, I am quite pleased with the results. This serum has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. I noticed an improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles after using this serum regularly for a few weeks. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth the investment if you're looking for an effective anti-aging serum.

Reviews
This serum was quite runny and not sticky at all and my skin loved it! My skin pretty much inhaled the serum and looks more radiant and feels much smoother. I found it a great base for foundation giving me a glowing finish. What I didn’t like was the applicator dropper. It’s chunky and until you get used to it, fiddley to use. I almost spilt it a few times until I got the hang of it. And because it’s runny, it’s easy to use too much. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it.
With all the talk about importance using retinol I thought I would give it a go. I didn’t really rate it as felt like it hydrated but didn’t actively change anything over the month of use. I wouldn’t buy again. It did hydrate though and overnight my skin felt hydrated in the morning.
This serum is seriously good!
The pump lid on the bottle is super handy, no more trying to squeeze dropper tops with one hand and catch with the other!
The serum itself is a milky looking liquid, quite thin, with no discernable fragrance. The cool pump on the lid dispenses just the right amount for my face neck and decolletage, a little goes a long way with this.
I only used the serum at night and it sits nicely under my night cream, not sticky or pilly like some serums I have tried.
And the results??
Right from first use my skin was smoother and more hydrated in the morning than it has been for a loooong while so it definitely wasn't a chore to continue using it!
Over time the fine lines around my eyes seem to have reduced and the frown lines that go along with my resting b**ch face appear shallower too, less crevasse more like a wrinkle lol.
The biggest plus for me though has to be the reduction in the pigmentations and age spots from sun damage on the side of my face. Since using this serum I'm now ditching the concealer for this area , so I'm 100% going to repurchase this when my trial one is finished.
So good!
Tips: Try it! It works!
I really enjoyed this retinol product. Product packaging is elegant and of high quality. It has an unusual dropper dispenser that I haven’t come across before but it seemed to work well. It has a light scent which I loved. It smelt of high quality if that makes sense. One thing I did notice was that my skin drank it up quickly (even after applying hydrating toners prior) and the recommended 2drops in the instructions was hardly enough. My skin is on the thirstier side which may be why. I use about 1/3 of the dropper to lightly cover my face. 2 drops I couldn’t even sufficiently cover one cheek. Due to the price and how much you need to use this would make me hesitant to recommend it or purchase again without considering price. That would be my only negative on this product. It left my skin feeling slightly softer upon application which is always nice and after the 3 weeks it definitely looks a bit more glowier. Retinols can take longer to show results so I’ll continue to use and decide at the end of the bottle whether or not to repurchase. Found this GREAT and soothing for sensitive thirsty skin so could definitely be worth the price tag if that’s something you struggle with and want to try a retinol. Overall an amazing little serum. I’d be interested in exploring their other products as well.
Tips: Use more than suggested if you have to. Apply hydrating toner beforehand. For sensitive skin If you’re finding it too much introduce slowly starting 1 day a week and “sandwich” between layers of your moisturiser. Retinols can be hard to introduce to sensitive skin but not impossible. Always use sunscreen….even more important when you’re using retinol products.
Beauty Review introduced me to Dr Lewinn's about 8 years ago, and the brand never disappoints! This serum is as good as any other Dr Lewinn's product I've tried.
I found it really hydrating, so soothing and refreshing to use at night. I was surprised by how silky and thin the serum was.
It coats the skin like a veil, it doesn't absorb right away, but it doesn't sit in an oily mess either. I use it right before bed and wake up to the softest skin possible.
Over the weeks I defintiely think my skin looks more refined, smoother and brighter.
The only reason I've marked it down is the RRP of around $80 is pretty steep, but if you can afford it...do it!
Tips: It is quite runny so be careful not to over-dispense!
I love Retinol, however I am a bit wary of trying new Retinol products. It's always a bit of a 'will I get the burn?' situation. Different strengths, different formulas - when it comes to Retinol I always take it slow and steady.
I haven't used Retinol since November last year, so I was able to get straight in to this product. I thought I'd start very slow, twice a week, but this was so softening and lovely to use I was using it every other night for the first week, before going to daily use on the second week.
This is a very runny serum, a little goes a long way. Go easy on the dispensing or you'll be rubbing this into your arms as well as your face, neck and decolletage!
The 28 day claims have been acheived on my skin - this isn't promising you to look 10 years younger in 4 weeks, it says you can expect smoother, firmer, radiant and 'younger looking' skin, and you know what - it delivers.
Is it botox in a bottle? No. For $80 did I expect Botox in a bottle? Hmmm. It is on the pricier side of what I'd pay for an enjoyable product, but also it is really lovely to use, so I think I'll be keeping my eye out for it on special because I'd love to continue using it!
Tips: Hmm, tip. Well as Baz Lurhmann would say. SUNSCREEN would be it.
Firstly I wasn't expecting plastic packaging on this one but it is functional and works so whilst not complaining this one doesn't look as pretty on my dresser.
The product itself us easy to pick up using the dropper and dispenses well. It has little to no scent and goes on like a dream. The gel is light and hydrating and able to be worn under moisturizer with no issues.
Daily use has left me with skin that feels firmer, smoother and appears more healthy. I definitely think the renew has not necessarily cured me of aging signs but helped to reduce finer lines on my face until near camouflage
A beautiful lightweight and easily absorbed product that leaves your skin feeling nourished
Tips: A little goes a long way
I was excited to try this serum because it has Retinol + Beauactive® as well as seeing the clinical results and boy was I happily surprised that it does just what it says. I am in my mid 40s so to see the fine lines around my eyes soften to the point some were harder to detect along with the fine lines around my lips that I was starting to worry about also soften was fantastic!!! Not only did my deeper and finer lines soften, but my skin looked a lot more healthier and fresher making me want to take more care in my make up to show off how good I felt about the results. I also loved the fact that this was easy and quick to use so inserting it in both my morning and night routine was no issue. Having the dropper and it not being super runny like other serums was also great as you have a lot more control over how much you get at a time as well as applying it evenly. The fact that you don't even need to use loads each time means that I felt happy to use it twice a day on my face and neck as I knew it was going to last a good while. I am well and truly impressed with this product and the results it has shown in the almost 2 weeks of use, so I cannot wait to see the long-term results. I wish I had found this a bit sooner, but also found it’s never too late and will be part of my beauty routine going forward!
Tips: You want to press the top down prior to pulling it out to use and just press it gently to get the serum. Make sure you start off with less serum to work out how much you need and I found doing a section of my face and neck at a time worked well to ensure I got even coverage. The serum isn't super runny so you do have good control over it.
The serum is a bit pricey but it’s concentrated and you only need a small amount with each application. It contains RETINOL and BEAUACTIVE® plus Vitamin E. The texture is very lightweight and it promises to target some of the most common skincare concerns, like hydration, skin cell renewal and skin radiance. I noticed an improvement in the appearance of my skin from the first application & the results just got better with time. I have been using this serum daily for over 2 weeks now and there is a clear reduction in the appearance of my fine lines. My face feels and looks more youthful, firmer and hydrated. Would definitely recommend this. - I was gifted a product sample to trial and review -
