These pads are definitely comfy - in that they didn't make my shoes uncomfortable but I don't know that they actually ADDED any comfort. I would use them again but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy any.

Tips: If your shoes are already quite firm fitting then using these pads won't make the situation any better. They are quite a few mm thick.
The Footcare Gel Ball of Foot Cushions are nicely packaged with a clear window that shows you what they look like. They are easy to open with a tear-away piece placed at the top. I like they fact that there are 2 pairs in the pack. It makes them very reasonably priced compared to others I have seen on the market. Each cushion is marked with a "L" or "R" which was very useful otherwise I would have put them in my shoes they wrong way. The cushions have a plastic film on the underside of them which is peeled off to reveal an adhesive bottom. The cushions are then placed into your shoes adhesive size down. The adhesive works very well and the cushions stayed in place when I wore my shoes. It is great that these can be washed and re-used. With all of these great features I did find them a little uncomfortable. I noticed them in my shoes the whole time I was wearing them. I tried them in 2 different pairs of shoes but they felt out of place in both pairs. It might just be something that takes a while to get used to? I could feel the little balls on the surface which worked well to make them non-slip. These would be great for someone who was on their feet for a long time or out dancing the night away.
Tips: Get the placement correct in your shoes.
I would recommend using the gel cushions if you are wearing heels for a long period of time. They take a little while to get used to being in your shoe to get the position right but they do help to ease pain in the ball of your feet. The only negative thing I would say is the adhesive isn't the best. Especially if you are dancing or walking a lot, the adhesive slowly wears off. I'd use this product again.
I stand all day at work, so something I have found essential is either a comfortable pair of shoes or some cheats to make them comfortable.
After seeing these on the BR page I decided I had to try them and compare them to similar products I’d used before.
So quality wise, these are decent value. They are the same thickness as some more expensive brands. But there are also cheaper brands than Footcare which are fairly similar as well.
Focusing in on the product itself, Footcare’s Gel Ball of Foot Cushions are a discreet way to cushion your feet as you can slip them into your shoes without anyone noticing they are there.
Now I personally did not find they so much prevented pain as provided temporary relief. For example when wearing a pair of high heels out for the night I find it useful to take these in my purse then slip them into my shoes when my feet start to ache. This provides temporary relief whereas when I wear them from the start of the evening my feet still ache pretty much like they would without them. That said other people may find it works differently for them.
Something to also be aware of it that in smaller shoes, they can make the shoes too tight. Mostly I wear them in harder shoes or shoes with thinner soles to provide an extra layer of cushioning all day long. But I do also add them in later in the day, particularly in more cushioned shoes. I find it depends on the shoes and how long you’ll be on your feet.
These little gel cushions were amazing! Kept my feet pain free and gave me that little extra bit of cushioning on a long night out. Only downside if that wouldn't fit all shoes straight off the bat - but I assume you could cut them up to suit.
Tips: Get a good seal on a CLEAN shoe - wipe it down and dry if need be BEFORE applying to the clean surface - this will stop it coming off, or moving about.
The product did as it said it would. It cushioned the balls of my feet. Great for that night out when you wear that pair of shoes that you only wear once a year. But also great for those work shoes with a little heel that you get sore feet in by the end of the day.
So happy with this product, it’s did just what it said and gave the balls of my feet the relief and comfort they needed. They stick well without moving under your foot. Reasonable price for a good product. definitely recommend.
I love this product! Working in hospitality and being in my feet all day it's always a struggle wearing heels on nights we go out. Whacked a pair of these into my heels and by the end of he night I was still comfortable. I like the fact that the packet has two pairs in it as well. Decided to try the other pair in a pair of work shoes. Didn't really think they would make much difference in flats but they were so comfortable and they didn't come off in the shoe and slide around like a lot of other products can do. Definitely recommend this product.
Tips: Make sure they are placed properly. Are very easy to reposition in you get it wrong though and will still stick really well. Not just for heels either, worked great in my work shoes too!
These were great in my shoes for long days at work! They provided comfort and lasted a long time before I went and purchased another set. They easily fitted into my shoes and didn't move out of place. A great price and I would highly recommend it.
After standing for an hour at a staff meeting in heels! only a week prior with killing feet I was so excited about trialling this product. First impressions feeling the product from the packet is they really are squidgy. Once I peeled back the plastic backing I could feel also how sticky they are which was reassuring that they probably wouldn't move in your shoes. They are easy to apply and as they say are reusable. I peeled them off and replaced them and they stuck just fine. Be careful though as due to being so sticky they pulled at my shoe lining making it loose on the sides. Once I stood in my heels my initial thoughts were I could feel the cushion pads. It was quite a strange feeling, feeling them under your foot. As the day went on I became used to them and didn't notice them as much. I specifically wore some of my most killer heels to really put them to the test. Overall I think perhaps they prevented a little bit of pain but unfortunately didn't prevent all of it.
Tips: Be very careful when peeling them off to reuse as they can pull at your shoe lining ripping it away. Also, as the gel cushions take away some of the depth of your shoe they may make your feet more squished in your shoes. I did experience this. The top of my feet were pushed against the top of my heels more which was a little uncomfortable.
