Already a fan of the Garnier Fructis Hair Food tubs which impart delightful fruity scents and luscious moisture on my hair, I was excited to see what the body version held in store for me.
The Garnier Body Superfood Avocado & Omega 6 has a light, whipped yoghurt consistency and quite a heavy scent which I couldn’t put my finger on (not avocado). It smooths on and absorbs beautifully and evenly into dry skin.
I love the recyclable plastic tub and being able to scoop out as much as I need with my hands rather than messing around with a squeeze or pump bottle. I’ve been using liberal amounts daily for the past 10 days, sometimes on skin still moist from the shower, other times my skin is dry.
The Garnier Body Superfood Avocado & Omega 6 had a vegan formula and contains an honest 97% natural ingredients (obviously as close to 100% as they can get it) and it leaves my skin feeling soft and silky up until my next shower and moisturiser round.
Claiming to moisturise 10 layers deep, as a supermarket product this provides serious bang for buck!
From the texture, to the scent, to the way it hydrated my skin all 10’s across the board! I was extremely surprised with this moisturiser, if you had covered the label I would have 100% guessed it was high end skincare. It left my skin smelling amazing, glowing & extremely moisturised. It felt nice and light yet hydrating, the subtle scent lingered for most of the day after using it in the morning and I really have noticed a difference in the hydration of my skin. Now Garnier isn’t normally a brand I would reach for but after trialling this product I will definitely be looking into any new products they continue to bring out. I love the fact it has omega in it, always makes it better to get extra goodies for your skin in your skincare! Also the fact that it’s 97% naturally derived automatically makes me want to reach for this before any other moisturiser I currently own.. how cool! I would definitely recommend this for anyone who has dry skin & doesn’t want a moisturiser with a strong scent.
Tips: Best to moisturise after a shower whilst your skin is still damp, easier for your body to absorb it.
