I couldn't wait to try this, I don't really use body lotion through winter and so my skin looks dry during this time. Its a huge tub, similar to their hair mask. Simple packaging, I couldn't wait to open it and smell it. There is a very little smell to it, which is good I suppose, I prefer one with more scent. The smell reminds me of a ointment but very little smell. The texture is lovely and thick but glides on so nicely and absorbs really quickly so it's easy to rub in. After using this my skin still looked moisurised for 3 days.

The Body Superfood is a thick cream which smooths easily over the skin , especially when skin is warm after a bath. It has a nice subtle perfume and made my skin feel nice and soft I found it was excellent on my hands which are cracked with a lot of gardening work
Tips: It does not need a large amount as it spreads well and rubs in .
This comes in a decent sized tub and smells a cross between avocado and aloe vera, nice and fresh. The cream is white and feels as though its been whipped into meringue almost.
I used this on my hands, body and found it gentle enough to use on my face. There wasn't any irritation and my skin felt nicely moisturized. This is really nice and at a fair price though I have used another cream that is a bit richer. However it does feel nice to apply.
Tips: If you're looking for a good no frills body cream that isn't irritating give this a try.
Firstly, I’ll confess that I didn’t moisturise my arms and legs one bit during this winter (yikes), so I was ready to test this new product on my poor dry skin!
I’ll start with the packaging, as Garnier products are usually a hit or miss in this department, in my opinion. I like the large 380ml size of the pot in and the packaging is clear and stands out. I normally prefer my body moisturisers in a pump bottle but this sturdy, attractive pot and the texture of the cream reminds me of yoghurt, and I kind of liked it!
The quality of the cream: the product claims it’s a 48h nourishing cream that hydrates up to 10 layers deep. Now I usually stay away from cream for ‘dry skin’ because I always imagine a thick, greasy cream that makes you want to wash your hands after application.
I was pleasantly surprised by this Body Superfood cream. It wasn’t super thick but not too light either. It has a velvety creamy texture and absorbed quickly like it promises, my poor dehydrated skin drank it up! It didn’t feel greasy on my legs and arms, and I applied quite generously. Shea butter is quite high up in the ingredients list for this cream so that’s a win for dry skin!
The scent was not too strong and pretty nice, the avocado part of the cream also reminds me of previous almond body creams and oils I’ve tried.
Overall, I was impressed with this body cream and will continue to use it regularly in the lead up to the summer season. I’m keen to try the watermelon gel cream in the same range too as the weather warms up.
Well done on this one, Garnier. I would recommend if you were like me and was so lazy with body creams over winter. Your skin deserves this. :)
Tips: It’s as easy as it gets, apply generously as needed to dry skin because it’s fast absorbing, so you can get on with your day without feeling greasy!
The tub makes you think this would be a body butter but this is actually a light and hydrating cream. Just a little thicker than a liquid moisturiser, this quickly absorbed and skin does feel hydrated. I do prefer thicker creams or body butters but I think this would work well in summer when you want something light and a little more hydrating than your average lotion. The scent is light and fresh but does linger and I enjoyed slathering it on my skin without any trace of greasiness. I really like how Garnier lists out all the ingredients and that most of it is natural in origin.
Tips: The tub is made using a more flexible plastic (I think this may be recycled plastic) so be careful, try to grip from the base rather than from the top!
This is a light, nourishing body cream the is fast absorbing & hydrating for dry skin with avocado & omega 6. Made with 97% natural ingredients & is vegan. It is easy to apply, glides on easily, is not greasy & has a light pleasant fragrance. After using for 1 week I have noticed my skin is not as dry as it usually is & feels a little softer. I had no reactions on my sensitive skin. The tub size is generous & will last for weeks when using every day. This body superfood is very affordable, priced at around $14- $15 for a 380ml tub. It is available at most major supermarkets & department stores making it easily accessible.
Tips: Use moderately as it goes along way. Use once to twice daily on dry skin.
I was lucky enough to trial this moisturiser, whilst it was lovely to use, creamy, hydrating, felt lovely on my skin, the fragrance was a little off putting. It has Avocado and Omega 6 but these paired together was an unusual smell. It definitely made my skin feel super soft and hydrated, so I will use it, but perhaps not as an overall body mousturiser on a night out.
Tips: Great to use after shaving or waxing leaves skin silky smooth.
