Garnier Hyaluronic Acid Firming Ampoule Face Sheet Mask

I initially really liked this but my skin felt super tight afterwards, and when I looked in a mirror it was pink and irritated. It's a shame because it was actually hydrating, but not worth the reaction for me personally. My skin isn't usually sensitive and I never react to other sheet masks, not sure what was in this that made me react.

I like sheet masks, but I mainly use them for extra moisture. Revitalises and firms the skin in 5mins....I instantly had my doubts. So I prepped my skin, washed my makeup for the day and exfoliated. This is what I normally do before any sheet mask. I then put the mask on. I really like the smell. I didn’t find it too overpowering. It was a light watermelon scent, but I found it refreshing. Took the mask off, and I didn’t notice any really difference....just looked really moisturised. So I decided to wait until the morning (did this just before bed). The next morning (which is now when I’m writing this), my skin looks bright and I feel my pores are visibly smoother. In terms of firmness; I don’t see a difference. But it may be a case of needed to use these often to see a difference. Did it say what it was going to do? Yes and no. Skin more firm? Not that I can see, but, with more use, it may increase fitness of skin. My skin is definitely revitalised, more smooth looking and pores smaller. Would I use this sheet mask agin? Yeah I would. I like that it’s 5mins. I like the smell, and I did see some benefits with one use. And, I do like Garnier products. I’ll definitely be getting some more of these masks

First impression, the scent was subtle, clean and watermelony, very nice.

I regretfully used the mask on a cold day, I wish I had thought to warm it up between my hands first or something.

The mask was very easy to apply and very easy to reposition. It did not tear apart at all and was surprisingly strong. It also stayed in place very well, I was impressed since the last undereye sheets I tried did not stick well. So you can easily do pretty much anything while you wait for the five minutes to be up.

After I removed the sheet, it left some wetness/goo on my face which easily washed off in the shower, I think you could also use tissue or cotton pad just as easily.

My skin did feel smoother and softer and that feeling lasted for the day.

Overall, I have nothing bad to say about the mask. I recommend it.

I loved this face mask it definitely stood out more from the rest! The packaging is smaller than the other masks I have tried which makes more sense on wastage, it gets folded up nicely in the pack and is easy to remove. I love the smell of this face mask its watermelon and smells very refreshing. The mask is made out of very soft product that felt really nice on my skin and it was a good size that fitted well on my face. I left it on for 5 minutes, usually masks say 15 but 5 was a good amount of time for it to work its magic. It definitely hydrated my skin and left it nice and soft. I was worried the product would not soak into my skin because it looked quite wet afterwards even with wiping off the excess but it did feel really nice in the end and was a perfect start to my morning.

I really liked this mask! It smells amazing and is super relaxing and refreshing. It is quite sticky once removed but it does make your face feel tighter, firmer and plumper and my skin looked smoother, refreshed and almost glowy. Once completely dry my face felt hydrated and smooth. I left it on for 10 minutes but it was a really great addition to my self care ritual and felt like my face was getting a real treat. Love that its vegan also!

As someone who tends to spend some time out to practice some self-care with a face mask on the weekend, this new mask is a time-saving game changer! Unlike most other face masks which generally need to stay on for about 20-30 minutes, it’s very nice to have a mask that only needs to be left on for 5 min (due to the highly concentrated formula). The other noticeable difference is that the serum is much thicker than both masks so allows your skin to really absorb as much product as possible - my face looked noticeably plumper, smoother, and more glowy within a half hour of using the mask.

10/10 would use again and highly recommend!

This face mask was so quick and easy to do, only taking 5 minutes, which is very handy. I had no allergic reaction to this product and it smelt so good which is a big plus! It left my skin looking nice and smooth after I took it off, however, it was very sticky (it does mention this on the packet). I just removed the excess with a cotton round and it left my skin so shiny and glowy. I also tried this mask before applying makeup and I found it helped even out the texture of my skin, leaving my makeup glowy and flawless!

Love this mask! I have combination skin and at the moment it’s quite dry but after putting this mask on I had no more dry patches. It made my skin feel nice and smooth. 10/10 would definitely recommend and buy this for gifts for others with combination or dry skin. It was just smooth and no dryness the next day!

I'm guilty of sneaking face masks into my trolley when doing the groceries - they're a cheap and easy way for a bit of me time.

I love the new small packaging, it makes sense to cut down where we can. I'm also super happy Garnier have been certified cruelty-free.

This mask is sooooooo hydrating - it just soaks your skin in a rich, cooling serum and leaves it feels rejeuvenated.

Afterwards you have that post-facial glow, its almost a shame to use this at night time when noone gets to see your amazing looking skin!

I would definitely repurchase and recommend to anyone looking for a cheap and cheerful skin treatment.

First thoughts, cute packaging and quite reflective of the product. I was surprised at how thick the sheet mask was in comparison to most of the similar masks I have used in the past. It felt good quality, was reasonably easy to pull apart (as much as they can be) so I didn't experience any tearing and could get it to sit really firm against my face. I have a bit of a pet peeve when sheets slip down while you're trying to sit with it on, but this one stayed nice and put.

As for the actual product formula part, I found the smell really refreshing, I was worried it might be that classic chemical fake watermelon, but I didn't find that at all. My other concern was that sometimes hyaluronic acids can be hit and miss, however, I found the overall hydration of my skin was improved the next day and I didn't experience little breakouts. The only downside is that I'm not a massive fan of how tacky my skin felt after I took it off, but otherwise no real issues.

Overall, I think it's a good accessible mask that I'd probably pick up for a once-a-month pick me up or the like. I'm not sure I would integrate it into my weekly routine, but it is a good little pamper product.
