Was absolutely delighted to try this sheet mask, I've tried a couple of different ones that I've received in beauty boxes and they've been ok but mostly have korean instructions so I've never really known if I've done it right, lol Anyway the instructions on the Hydra Bomb mask were clear as and i found it super easy. I wasn't so sure on the blue sheet on top of the mask thou i don't see what purpose it really has. There is quite a lot of product on the mask which i thought was quite nice and i rubbed it in down my neck and the excess onto the back of my hands. the mask maybe needs to be a little bigger it was quite small around the eye area but i did manage to make it work and im not sure why there were slits on the edge of the cheeks? 15 minutes later i removed the mask and i decided i might just rub the excess into my skin and leave it on. It didnt take to long to dry and i ended up sleeping with the excess on overnight. Morning time and i wash it off and my skin feels great, a little plumper around the fine lines around my eyes and im quite a happy little chappy. I really enjoyed the mask even my hubby was like "that smells nice" i do recommend trying it at night as then you can leave it a bit longer and i felt the smell was quite relaxing. Definitely will purchase these, i think they will be great over summer when my skin needs extra hydration.

Tips: Very keen to try them cooled in the fridge over the hot summer.
Firstly, I really like the RRP - $5 for a good quality mask is fantastic! Secondly, the packaging is great & the instructions are explained well. Upon opening the product I could immediately tell it was sitting in plenty of liquid, I took a mental note to retain the packet containing excess liquid for use afterwards. It was a little messy unfolding the mask and applying it to my face but after some rearranging I managed to get it sitting pretty flat and then easily removed the protective film (which is only loosely attached). Once the film was off I probably spent 5 minutes trying to get it to sit as close to perfect as I was able to get it. There are cuts in the mask so you can adjust it to the contours of your face, however I couldnt get it to sit on my nose without lifting from the sides. They recommend you leave it on for 15 minutes but I felt that wasn't long enough as the mask was still very wet after that amount of time. I left it on for close to 40 minutes, that was when the mask felt dryish to touch. I then removed it and rubbed in any liquid that remained on my face. It was then that I took the excess liquid remaining in the packet and applied that to my décolletage & arms. After maybe 5 minutes my skin felt completely dry and it auctually did look radiant. I think the product does as it says & kept my skin hydrated for 24 hours.
Tips: Keep the remaining liquid in the packef to apply to other areas in need of hydration :)
Firstly I love the packaging, eye catching and refreshing.
The mask is easy to apply, once you take the blue layer off you can stretch and manipulate the mask to fit perectly to your face. It stsys put and feels refreshing.
The scent is very nice. It is fresh with a hint of sweetness.
I left the mask on for 15 minutes and my face felt smooth and refreshed. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin looked radient and even like it claimed to. I didnt feel like my skin was hydrated tho and needed to add moisturizer. All and all I am happy with my results and with longer term use I think the results would be amazing.
Tips: Take the blue layer off to stretch and manipulate the mask to fit your face perfectly.
This single-use mask comes in a handy sachet that I found very easy to open. The instructions were easy to follow, and written clearly. The mask itself had a blue backing sheet which I found a little tricky to peel off once it was on my face so I took it off again and then removed the blue sheet and reapplied the mask. It had a pleasant scent and felt wet against my skin. The cutouts for eyes/nose/mouth were at suitable places for my face, but I really did have to "lie back and relax" for the 15 mins as I think it would have slid off otherwise. At the end of the 15 mins the mask was easy to remove and the residue left on my face was very quickly absorbed into the skin with a little rubbing. I purposely chose to use this mask after a very light cleanser so I could test its hydration claims properly. The packaging claims 24 hour hydration and I have dry skin so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it not only met the claims but exceeded them. 48 hours after using the mask I could still feel a difference and that was without using a night cream as I normally do. Without hesitation I would use these again and would recommend to anyone with dry skin who is looking for a good, easy and cheap pick-me-up for their skin.
Tips: When applying the mask rub any residue on your hands in. It really softens them up and saves on wastage :)
I've always been the type to shy away from masks/facial cleansers anything to do with cleansing, reason being I have very sensitive skin. When I was invited to trial the product I was at first weary but also thought it would be the best opportunity to finally break away from the bad habit and finally give my opinion.
Absolutely loved the packaging, very conveniant to use and easy to apply, as required I waited 15mins to let it work its magic, I was very happy with the end result, my skin was left firm, smooth and hydrated!!! The mask was refreshing and and smelt amazing!!! Would definitely use again
Well 1st of all thanks so much beauty review team for the chance to trial this gorgeous face mask. I hav tried a couple of face masks a long time ago and not had any nice experiences, so I was a little, well actually alot scared to try this, but I dived right on into the packet cause hey if you don't try new things you never know right :). Well after doing the whole cleansing my face and patting it dry instructions before applying this delicious smelling mask, on it goes following the instructions on the packet. Peeling off the blue layer after the freezing cold mask is slapped on then pressing and moving the mask to the right locations on my face. Yes people it feels ever so weird and slimy but refreshing at the same time. Chilled in my room as my handsome lil king Graysyn Mr nearly 2 and a half walks in an gets very upset, freaking out saying "Oh my mummy what did you do ? Pls mummy pls take it off I don't like it ,I don't like it ". I sent him out to watch his show and play cars so I could finish my 15 minute relaxing mask trial, only for the door to open and we go through it another 4 times before time was up. I thought it was ever so cute. After 15 mins I go to peel off this yummy treat and wow my face after rubbing in the remainder of the serum left behind feels absolutely amazing. I will definitely be buying more of these for sure, however getting that blue layer off once it is on your face is a little bit tricky as it's all slimy so I'd probably try taking that off before putting it on next time. I would absolutely recommend that if you hav little darlings like mine that might think a monster or something gobbled or smushed something on your face wait till they are sleeping as I will be in future. My face has been feeling good all day and night. This product has totally stood upto it's expectations. Even wearing my make up, it feels nicer than it has in a while.
Tips: I'd say maybe trying taking the blue sheet off before applying An wait till kids are in bed if they are little as you can look pretty scary
This is a really nice product but not something I would say did wonders for my skin! Although that is hard to tell with a once off type thing.
The mask is really easy to apply, there is a thicker blue material attached to it so that it keeps it's shape. You peel the blue off once it's in place and then smooth down any parts into creases etc.
It does feel really nice on the skin, VERY refreshing, cooling, moisturizing and relaxing. I do have really sensitive skin and this didn't sting, tingle or irritate at all which is great!
I left it on for just over 15 minutes. It simply lifts off your face. It says you can then wash off or rub in any excess product left on the face but I just let it soak in. It dried pretty quickly and left my face feeling really soft and moisturized.
In the morning I didn't notice anything that different until I washed my face in the shower! It was almost like there was already a moisturiser on my face.
This was really nice and super relaxing, great for a pampering evening but not something I would do on a regular basis due to the price. Worth it every now and again though and would probably purchase for a treat in the future.
Tips: Don't do it if you're cold! Save for summer or when you are in a hot bath or wrapped up warm as it was quite chilly on the face!
I was lucky enough to trial this mask, having never tried a tissue mask before. The mask when first applied was very cold, but did feel refreshing, and it warmed as I sat back and relaxed and let it do its magic. I left it on for about 20 minutes, and once the tissue was removed, I gently massaged the residue into my face and neck. About an hour later, I noticed that my skin appeared smoother and moisturised. I put my usual night cream on before bed and next morning, my skin definitely looked hydrated, and I would certainly use it again, especially if I had a special function.
I tried out the Garnier Hydrabomb Pomegranate Tissue Mask on Friday night while the rest of the family were watching a movie. It meant I could have some quiet time, plus I didn’t scare the rest of the family just before bed time while I was wearing my mask (I felt a bit like Hannibal Lector) ;-). The mask was well and truly soaked in serum, definitely no skimping there so it’s great value for money. The mask has a lovely smell which is always a positive when you’re putting something on your face for any period of time. The directions were very clear and it was easy to put the mask on my face and also to remove. The mask was a good size and it easily covered my face.
The 15 minutes passed by extremely quickly and then it was time to remove the mask. Once removed there was still a fair amount of serum on my face which I partially rubbed in and partially removed with a face cloth.
My skin felt fantastic after my Friday night facial, it felt extremely soft to touch and definitely felt moisturized. It also felt great the next morning when I woke up.
I loved that it was such a quick and easy option for a facial and the impressive results it produced for the price, definitely a lot less expensive than a salon facial. I just need to find someone to give me a shoulder massage while I’m wearing it so it matches a salon facial ;-).
I am a big fan of Korean sheet masks so I was keen to see how an offering from a cosmetics giant would compare. The pack itself was easy to open but I found the mask a little harder to unfold than other sheet masks I have tried which do not have the blue plastic backing sheet. In fact, I couldn't really see any benefit to the blue plastic sheet as for me it made the mask more difficult to apply and it seems a little wasteful. All of the product remained on the sheet though and with other sheet masks I have tried there is a lot of extra serum left in the packet. The holes in the mask seemed a little small to start with but I stretched the mask out using the slits on the side of it. These confused me a bit at first as I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do with these - pop them over my ears, maybe? Nope, that wasn't going to work.
The mask felt really cool and refreshing when it was on. I didn't want to take it off when the fifteen minutes was up. It didn't drip at all. There was still a lot of serum left on my face when I removed it which I lightly patted in and then allowed it to dry. It did feel quite sticky so it is best used at night. It did dry down after an hour or so and my skin looked plump and yes, those fine lines seemed to have been somewhat diminished. The next morning my skin still looked plump but I do feel like it would have benefited from putting a moisturiser over top before going to bed. It did feel like I was washing the remains of the serum off in the morning but my skin still felt soft and supple afterwards.
I found this mask comparable with its Korean counterparts in performance and price. At $4.99 it isn't something I would do three times a week as suggested by the trial quoted on the pack and there are some cheaper sheet masks available. What is great about this mask is that is it easily accessible from the supermarket meaning it can just fall into your trolley with the weekly shop!
Tips: This sheet masks would be amazing to use in summer when you're feeling hot and bothered. Keep in in the fridge for an extra cooling effect!
