Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

I was a bit uncertain about using this micellar cleansing water as I had tried the simple skin brand and it didn't do anything for my skin. This Micellar Cleansing water is great for taking off makeup and also washing off the day in general. I find that it takes off makeup better than other makeup removers and removes almost all of my heavy eye makeup which normally takes a good 5 minutes of scrubbing with other products. I no longer feel bad about waking up and washing my face with this instead of my normal cleanser when I'm in a rush. It is perfect for sensitive skin too, and I have experienced no extra redness or rashes since using this product. I think the only problem with this product is the price. 16 dollars is a lot to pay so I try and buy it when it's on sale.

I went out and bought this upon recommendation from my Cousin. I had always used makeup wipes because they're easy to carry around so I was reluctant to switch to something that was in a bottle and also required cotton pads to use it as well but I must say it is a nice product to use! I heard it broke people out but this didn't happen to me...although I cleansed after removing my makeup with my standard cleanser so this could be the solution for some people using it as a stand alone. The only issue I really have with this is sometimes It just won't get my mascara and eyeliner (tight lined) off super easy, like I do have to rub a lot which isn't ideal but it's only with certain products not all so overall it does what it needs to and it feels quite refreshing too which is the best after a whole day of wearing makeup!

Sooo i brought this about 3 months ago only because it was something different and i love buying new things. I put it on my face every morning and night after ive washed my face. I let it dry and put moisturiser on then do my face. I have not had a single breakout since i started using it. I love it. Its amazing and it lasts sooo long.

It really does remove makeup like it says it does, but for my dry skin if I have to redo something more than once I dry out! Was experimenting with different eyeshadow looks and after the third trial it stung like mad and I had really dry eyes for days!

It's really astounding to me how little makeup my cleanser actually removes. Before this product I would have easily said 100%. After? Maybe 80% at best., This stuff really does remove a buttload of residual makeup and dirt and leaves my skin feeling so refreshed. It's also terrific at removing eye makeup and I find it really soothes tired itchy eyes, so I tend to use it after long days of reading or on the computer. Feels very pampering.

I didn't like this micellar water. It felt oily and left a residue in my eyes when I tried to use it to remove eye makeup (which it didn't remove). My vision was blurry for a few minutes until I blinked all the product out. The bottle is bigger than other brands and the price is cheaper so I can see the attraction but I would rather use a regular cleanser than this rubbish. The Loreal version is much better quality and is not oily.

I tried the Garnier Micellar water after hearing all the hype and really thought it lived up to the expectation. I was initially worried it would sting or be quite oily in my eyes but this was not the case. It removed all my eye makeup so quickly and easily and soothed the skin around my nose too! Will definitely keep using this as it is so handy for taking off my eye makeup once home from work, before cleansing my whole face at bedtime.

It is my Holy Grail to remove makeup instantly, totally love this product. It does what is says. It is quick and easy to use, simply by soaking a cotton pad and gently swipe off face.

There was so much hype around this product before it came to New Zealand. When my Secret Santa from last year added it to her wishlist, I sourced a way to get it here for her...and snuck in a couple for me.

The packaging is relatively simple, it's clear to show that the product is clear as well, and has a cute pink lid. It doesn't wow me, but it's functional. The product itself feels slightly greasier than just regular water. I got a bit worried after reading reviews that it might break me out. And unfortunately using it just as a remover and not following it up with anything, that's what happened. It was like it left a slightly oily layer on my skin - and while I slept my skin went to town...and broke out.

BUT! I love it as a gentle make up remover - it removes the most stubborn eye make up, it takes recently applied foundation off quickly and it even gets my long last lipstick off without making my lips feel awful. Its just that I have to follow up with something to get that layer off my skin, the 10 0 6 toner I use does the trick with a quick sweep.

I don't know if I will repurchase after I use mine up, the main use for me is eye make up remover and I would like to try another one before making my mind up. Will follow up when I do that.
