I've been using this micellar water for at least two years now and I have found it to be effective at removing my makeup for a low price. It requires a bit more effort to take of mascara with it however, and I try not to get it in my eyes because it does sting sometimes. Overall though, I really like how it does not take long for me to remove my makeup with this, even when I'm taking off stage makeup.

Tips: For removing mascara, I reccomend holding a cotton pad with some of this micellar water on, and lightly pressing it against your eyelashes for about 10 seconds, wiggling the pad a little and then gently swiping down and away. I repeat as needed, depending on the mascara. This helps break down the mascara without having to rub your eye.
I used this to avoid washing my face after having my brows micobladed. It refreshed my skin with no tacky feeling or irritations. I used with a reusable cotton pad and didn't have to panic about touching my eye area at all. I still use it to get my makeup off which it does so well. I am 3 bottles deep and I hope I never run out.
I always use waterproof mascara and this takes it right off with reusable cotton pads. Melts makeup right off! There is almost no smell to it, which is great. It feels super gentle, like magic water. I think it is magic water though.
Tips: Combine it with an oil cleanser for a super deep clean!
I picked this up from the vault, because it had so many great reviews. It is great at removing makeup, but also gentle, and doesn't sting my eyes. I use it on a cotton round as a first cleanse, and then follow with a foaming gel cleanser.
I love this Micellar water so much. I got Bioderma while overseas a few years ago and loved it, but once it ran out I was on the hunt for the next best thing and found the Garnier one. I have never looked back. It takes off all my makeup so nicely and doesn't sting my eyes or face. I use one cotton pad to remove my makeup, and then use a second one to really ensure it's all been removed, especially stubborn mascara. I love it, my skin feels great after using it and ready for my facial cleanser and the rest of my skincare routine.
This product has no major smell, does exactly what it says it does, bottle lasts for a long time and is an affordable price. This product works to remove dirt/makeup while still being sensitive on the skin. It doesn't leave your skin feeling dry either.
Tips: Some mornings when I'm just at home and I don't want to fully wash my face, I just use this micellar water so my skin still feels clean and refreshed but not cleansed like I need to put anything else on afterwards.
I'd heard the hype about this little bottle of amazing and so picked some up on a recent trip to Sydney. I wish I'd bought a years worth! Garnier do say this will be on sale in NZ soon, but in the meantime I believe it's available online. NZ RRP looks to be around $15; I paid $11 in Australia.
The bottle is super generous for the price, at a 400 ml/200 use (so they claim) size. It's clear (great to track your usage) and accessorised with pink labels and cap. The product is called water and it looks and smells just like water, making you feel like you are simply wiping your face clean.
This is, in fact, what is happening. A little micellar water on a cotton pad negates the need for makeup wipes, make up remover and heavy cleansers. You simply don't need them. I find that this melts the makeup clear away, taking with it the grime and dirt of a day in the life of your face. It's cool and refreshing on the skin, non irritating, and effective on all makeup types I've tried it on (my default face is eyeliners/shadow, mascara, liquid eyeliner in bright colours, bb cream or light foundation and blusher.
Sometimes I use another cleanser after, sometimes I don't, but it's out of habit more than necessity. You don't need it unless you have heavier makeup on - and even then I'd just recommend a second micellar swipe, to be honest!
I'm completely sold. So much so that I actually messaged Garnier to ask when it would be available here, and was promised that it would be out in NZ 'very soon - early this year'
Tips: Buy it the second you see it:) It'll become a cult product FAST
To be honest, when I first heard about Cleansing Water I was a little sceptical - being essentially just water and having no scent. So as soon as it came in the mail, I was determined to try it. I put on some heavy eye liner, and as directed wiped my eyes with it. To be honest, I couldn't believe my eyes (literally); the eyeliner came of in just a few soft wipes. So, so far so good.
The next test was the next night after I had gone out with a full face of Make-up. I was excited to really give this cleanser a real go, and I was not disappointed. Other make-up removers I have used left my face, particularly eyes, greasy and shiny, red from rubbing and sore (particularly if some had gotten into my eyes accidentally). But this cleansing water was the complete opposite. My face and eyes felt fresh and as though I hadn't really even had make up on. There was no red-ness or grease, and it felt fantastic! I was able to take off all of my eye makeup and foundation etc so easily and I couldn't believe how fast it was either.
I also found it great to fix little mistakes when applying eye makeup. By putting a little on a cotton tip and dabbing the particular area of my eye, it easily removed the unwanted eyeliner, without really disturbing my eye shadow and getting all greasy - like what I had experienced in the past - and in turn ruining that whole eye's make up. With this I was able to fix the little mistakes without a hitch which was fantastic!
I love the fact that it natural and feels great on your skin - no smelly chemicals.
The easy-to-pour bottle is great, and it's awesome how you can simply pop it into your overnight bag if need be.
I will definitely continue to use this! Thanks Beauty Review for introducing me to this amazing new product! I will most definitely buy a new bottle once this has run out.
This is another product I jumped on the band wagon for. BUT this time im very happy, This removes my makeup in a breeze, my mascara maybe 90% but doesnt give me panda eyes so thats fine. The best thing about this is that it lasts a life time, each bottle does around 200 washes, so much product for so little money. The bottles nice and fresh and I paid $12.99 at the super market, I sugegst everyone to go out and try it.
Tips: Clean your brushes in it, This is the best product ive ever used to clean my brushes, even took the stains out.
I'm a massive fan of liquid makeup removers compared to wipes & all through out 2019 i used mostly nothing but the range of makeup removers by Ganier. It was my go- to and leaves my skin feeling soft, breathable, non oily & fresh. Also smells really nice!
Tips: Use with soft cotton pads and try not to use a hefty amount as a little goes a long way and alit will leave your face over - shiney almost oily looking.
