This is the best cleanser I have tried as I am often exhausted at night especially and can be pretty casual with removal of my makeup. However - this bottle of magic removes my primer, foundation and eye makeup with speed and efficiency. No frantic rubbing or rinsing, no smell or oily residue, just a few drops on a cotton pad does the job with such speed I was blown away with the results. My face has never felt cleaner and I think is responding better to the serum and cream which then gets applied. Will be buying this again - definitely.

Tips: The hole in the dispensing lid is quite large so don't need to squeeze heavily.
I love this stuff! Firstly it's such a great, affordable price, I would reccommend anyone to try it! My skin is very sensitive, dry and acne prone but it does like this product! It leaves my skin feeling so soft. I used to use just makeup wipes but I'm really amazed after using this, how much I actually left behind, it removes makeup easily without a fuss. You also don't need to use much which is great, although I do go through more than one cotton pad at a time. It really does the job well, leaving the face cool and calm afterwards (no irritation or burning feeling at all) you don't have to attack your face when removing your makeup with this product. Definitely something I'll be repurchasing! You'll be suprised at how much makeup you really miss when you're removing :)
I honestly went into this thinking it couldn't possibly do all the things they said it would. I truly apologise! Garner Micellar Cleansing Water is Fabulous. The first time I used it was at the end of the day, I had had a shower, but we all know that plain old water doesn't get the foundation and eye makeup off entirely. So I got a cotton pad and thought I'd give it a go. It was amazing! It felt fabulous on my skin, cooling, refreshing and the 'panda eyes' were no match for this product. My skin felt not only clean and fresh but beautifully soft. I now have used Micellar Cleansing Water morning and night for the last week and I don't think I want to stop now, I have noticed a big difference in the softness of my skin and I don't want to go back to what it was. This is a very gentle product, not at all harsh or astringent. It doesn't sting your eyes when you attack your eye makeup nor does it sting your blemishes ( of which I now have less of) . I didn't need to use a lot, as one gentle wipe is all you need, but as I am now a complete convert, the larger bottle is definitely a draw card as is the price. So, as you can tell, I'm pretty impressed by this product and I will be recommending it to anyone who will listen and I will absolutely be buying another bottle when this one is done. Thank you so much Beauty Review for giving me this opportunity and introducing me to Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
I've seen this product all over Instagram in the recent months and have wanted to try it so badly. I found that even with a full face of make up including waterproof mascara and brow products (which normally doesn't come off with make up wipes or standard make up remover) came off straight away without any rubbing! My skin also felt really moisturised afterwards as well. I even got my sister and friend to try it and both of them were amazing at our good it is and have just purchased some bottles themselves! Definite 10/10
Tips: Don't oversoak the cotton pad with the product or else I found it didn't remove as effectively opposed to just putting a small amount on the cotton pad.
I have mixed feelings about this product - I was expecting quite a bit from it, especially as a makeup remover. Overall I was a bit disappointed - I find it didn't work that great on eye makeup (mascara and eyeliner in particular). The first time I used it, it still felt like I was wearing lots. I also used it on my face to remove tinted bb cream/foundation - but when I wiped my face afterwards with a wet cloth - I still had makeup come off on it. The bottle also says you shouldn't need to wipe your face afterwards - but I felt that my skin felt a little sticky.
I next few times I used it I used a bit more product - and rubbed my face a bit more until I felt like I got it all off.
One thing I did like about it is that even though I have quite sensitive skin, especially with ezcema around my eyes, it doesn't irritate it.
Update: I've been using this for a few months now and have grown to like it! (and only just needed to repurchase!). I still cleanse a second time afterwards, because I find that it doesn't get all of my makeup off the first time - but it does leave my face/neck feeling super clean!
Tips: Definitely follow the instructions and soak a cotton pad/ball with product. I found that I needed to use quite a bit - especially on mascara and eyeliner. Holding a cotton pad soaked in the product on your eye makeup for 20 seconds or so helps to get it off too.
Well the first thing that I noticed was the price. I use Johnsons cleansing wipes at $10 per 20 in a packet. The garner water at $12.99rrp says has 200 uses per bottle. So right away it had my attention, I mean what woman doesn't like saving money, however I have tried many wipes and makeup removers that were completely useless so I used it with pessimism. What do you know it works just as well I'd not better than my fav wipes!! Yay. It has the feel of pure filtered water and is amazing at removing makeup. I also used it to clean my face and was surprised at the dirt it wiped off. Bravo garner, bravo, you have gained a new customer. Go to it girls, it's fantastic and sooo cheap....winner hands down
Tips: Just follow the directions......
I'm the kind of person that's super obsessed with skincare. I never miss taking my make up off in the evening. I've tried many types of make up removal products from oils to balms and make up remover wipes. I've heard of micellar water before but never had the opportunity to try it til now.
First of all the packaging is very straight forward, as with any other Garnier products. The lid dispenses enough product, not too much and too little which I really appreciate.
It looks like water and doesn't smell much like anything. There are very few ingredients and it's unscented which makes me think this will be fine on sensitive skin. I have dry cheeks, an oily t-zone and sometimes, my skin reacts to certain products but this was fine. It didn't irritate my skin whatsoever.
Unlike with makeup remover wipes, there is no need to scrub your skin to get foundation off. I was very impressed by how fast it took everything off, it was basically effortless and I was wearing heavy duty full coverage foundation when I first tried this.
I was expecting this to dry out my skin but it hasn't at all. In fact, my skin didn't feel as "thirsty" as it would if I had used a different cleanser.
I do think that the 200 use claim is only true if you use larger and good quality cotton pads. I also find that the "no rub" claim wasn't necessarily true for things like waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It does take it off much easier than a make up remover wipe though. All you have to do is drench a cotton pad, leave it on your eye for a few seconds and it does the job.
Overall, I'm very impressed with this product. I'm so glad Garnier has come out with a micellar cleanser water that is inexpensive and easily accessed by many people. I highly recommend this and I will definitely purchase more when I run out.
Tips: Use a larger cotton pad instead (Swisspers and The Body Shop are the only brands that I've seen that make them and sell them in NZ). It minimizes product wastage and makes it faster and easier to get to all areas of the face. I use one side on my face, add more product to the flip side and use it on my eyes.
I would first like to thank BR for letting me review this product. I had seen a lot of people talking about this product like you tube guru's etc they seemed to love it and i was itching to try it! i must say Australia got it a long time before us! i am so happy we can finally buy it in stores here!! I got a information booklet with the micellar cleansing water which i found really helpful , it answered all my questions that i had about the product. On the back of the bottle it says to use a cotton pad soaked in garnier micellar cleansing water so the first time using it i did just that in the morning, my skin felt cleansed and refreshed it didn't leave my skin feeling oily and didn't need to be washed off. That night it was time to take off my full face of make up , i again applied about a 50 cent coin sized amount on the cotton pad but by the time i was done taking all my makeup off i must have used at least six cotton pads, it took everything off and was easy to apply. It doesn't really have a strong smell like other garnier products i have tried. Over the last week or so i have found that the best way to use this product has been to use a make up wipe all over my face first then once i have done that get the eye make up off with the cleansing water and i find that way im only using around 2-3 cotton pads. If i was to keep using six cotton pads a night the cleansing water would not last me any where near 200 uses but if i use around 2-3 cotton pads a day i feel like i could get quite close to 200 uses. For the amount of product you get it's well worth your money! I love the packaging very simple and girly, tells you everything you need to know, it doesn't have a pump but the hole it comes out of is a lot smaller than the normal so it comes out slower which is better so it doesn't go every where. I will be buying this after i have finished the bottle and would recommend it to every one. 10/10 from me!!!
Tips: Don't forget to use in the morning as well!
The bottle can be a bit unwieldy, given its size, but I think it's great value! I like how fuss-free it is- not having to wash your cleanser off is super convenient in the mornings. Not having to use toner after is also a bonus. Applying it with a cotton pad means it's pretty impossible to get in your eye too (pitfall of the cleansing bar I would use on and off again.) It's not just the concept I love though - it works really well on my normal to dry skin. The cleansing water doesn't make my skin feel too tight, though I definitely wouldn't skip moisturising after. I had the misfortune of developing a pimple before receiving this product, but the cleansing water was very effective on it. The dastardly pimple quickly reduced in size and was gone within a few days! I'll definitely keep using this. I don't wear make up so can't comment on how effective it is as a make up remover.
It seemed to good too be true, a cleanser with simple, yet almost perfect cleansing capability. After reading the hype I was sceptical, dubious and dead curious to give it a try. Here I go with the simple verdict: yes, it works as it says it does, yes, my skin is completely cleansed, yes my skin feels good and ready for night cream or makeup and yes, its quick and easy. So, looks like a winner all round. It retails at 3.99 UK pounds and I saw in Oz for AUS$11.99. the other day. This water product should be as cheap as chips in its simple clear plastic bottle; lets see if it is.
Tips: It spurts out of the flip top and its easy to over soak the cotton pad, so use carefully. Also, will they bring out a smaller bottle for travelling?
