When I first opened the bottle I was impressed with the scent, or lack thereof. It didn't smell like a fake chemical product. I had to put a fair bit on the cotton pad to get it to lift my make-up, and I'm not a heavy make-up wearer. It did an ok job of removing my make-up but to be honest not as good as another brand. It certainly doesn't just lift dirt away from the skin as the ad says! I had to follow up with my usual cleanser and a flannel.

Tips: You do need a generous amount of product so don't be stingy putting it on the pad.
I love the idea of it. Quick and easy to use, no fuss, just need the bottle and cotton pads. However, it stung my skin and especially my eyes when removing mascara. Also felt like it was stripping my skin making it way too tight and dry.
Tips: Use with cotton pads
Does not remove stubborn makeup. I prefer the double cleanse method (i.e. use an oil then a gentle cleanser) to remove makeup [works way better.]
I loved the sound of this product. A makeup remover that cleanses and soothes at the same time, sign me up. I was so keen to get my hands on it I went to about 6 different shops before I managed to find it. I tweeted about my joyous find to Beauty Review and couldn't wait to get home that night to take it all off (my makeup of course!) The first couple of days were really great my makeup came off without any rubbing or much effort at all really. It even got my mascara off really well after just holding the pad with the cleansing water on for 15 or so seconds. It did feel a bit strange not washing my face with water and progressing straight onto serum and night Creme but hey I was saving time by not washing my face. Then came day three of using it. Please sing along to the tune of Alicia Keys Girl on Fire. My face is on firrrrrreeeeeeee I was standing chatting to hubby taking my makeup off and thought oh that's not quite right. I looked in the mirror and my face especially around my eyes was red and burning. I had to wash it off immediately. My skin still felt a little bit fragile the next day but has come right with no lasting damage. I may try another brands Micellar Water but after much hype and excitement my hopes for this product went down in almost literal flames.
Some times you run into a product which just cant make up its mind. I know its a product which you don't have to wash off but I personally don't like not washing it off as my skin feels like it still has soap on it otherwise . Its great at getting make up off though does struggle a bit with mascara and eye liner.
Overall I'm not sold on it but my daughter who skin is starting to need cleansing seems to do well with it.
I bought this bad boy after i had heard so much about it on a make up page I was on in Facebook. It had been hyped a ridiculous amount, to the point it was selling out as soon as it hit the shelves when it first became available in NZ. When i finally got my hands on it, i thought it was very good for taking off make up - my double wear - which usually takes a life time to get off so i was happy. however after using the product for a while i noticed it was causing me to break out and for that reason i give it the scores i do. it did what it said, but overall i would'nt recommend a product that induces acne. However, i found that it did serve as a great spot cleaner for my brushes!
Tips: Great for getting makeup out of clothes, to clean make up of vanity and also to spot clean brushes when in a rush!!!
I think it is packaged really well, it's always good being able to see exactly how much product is left! Very sturdy, flapped it around a bit to see if the lid would fly open but it was fine. Clear liquid (like water.. go figure), it doesn't have a scent to me. I believe it should be treated as the first step to removing makeup, I didn't find it cleaned it removed it all, and my skin definitely didn't feel cleansed after. I used it to freshen my face when after a day of no makeup and my skin felt really odd afterwards, like sticky? I would recommend it to a friend as a first step in makeup removal but I wouldn't say it's a miracle product by any means. To be fair I can't quite understand the hype that originally surrounded it!
Tips: Have another facial cleanser at the ready to really remove all your makeup and cleanse your skin.
I was really looking forward to trying this one because I've heard so many great things about it. But unfortunately it seems to cause a skin reaction for me. I got really dry and itchy skin after using it.
It seemed to do a pretty good job at removing the makeup though, so I'm sure it works well for those that don't react to it. I did think it was a bit funny-smelling unfortunately.
It doesn't really remove makeup - and especially not eye makeup. I cleanse my face 2 - 3 times with this stuff and I am still getting makeup on my cotton pad. I am using as I paid for it, but I wouldn't buy it again. I only use it on days that I don't use foundation - BB cream only.
I was really excited to use this product as it sounded amazing. Unfortunately it did not deliver on it's promises. It required considerable effort to remove my waterproof mascara and it did not remove all my foundation. My eyes felt irritated after use. My skin seemed to have some sort vaguely sticky residue after using it which required the use of water to eliminate. I now use it in addition to my normal make-up remover and face wash in the quest for super clean pores and skin!
Tips: I would recommend it as as addition to your normal cleansing routine but not as a substitute for it. Be careful using it around the delicate eye area as it can lead to irritation.
