Yep, yes

After hearing about everyone raving about this product I was very excited to learn that I would be able to trial it!

When looking for make-up removers and cleansers my main concerns are if they will sting my eyes, remove make-up efficiently and if they will leave my face feeling oily.

I ripped open the packaging as soon as I received it in the mail. Had a sniff and it doesn't really have any sort of scent that I could make out.

I've tried it with a full face of make-up and it worked wonderfully. On an average day my basics are double wear foundation with a MAC powder over the top, Napoleon Perdis eyeliner and an Estee Lauder mascara. This cleansing water managed to remove all of my eye makeup and 90% of my foundation on the first go. (I rubbed, even though they say 'no need to rub') I needed to go over my face about three times before there was no foundation visible on the cotton pad I used. I did a quick test with coconut oil after just to see if there was any left and there wasn't.

No stinging! Not left feeling oily!

$13 is an awesome price considering how big the bottle is, the cap is relatively small as well so you don't waste much.

Tips: Use cotton pads! Hold down on eye make-up for a few seconds and swipe across, comes off very easy.

A cotton bud fits perfectly at the opening, handy for when you make an eyeliner/mascara mistake.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I love this cleanser!!! It makes the skin tingle afterwards while it dries. My favourite thing is that I don't have to clean my face after removing the make up like you have to when using other cleansing wipes. The only thing it didn't do was remove fully my mascara. My skin felt nice, soft and refreshed afterwards and didn't take long to feel dry. I would certainly buy this again when this bottle runs out.

Tips: Don't put too much of the cleansing water on the cotton pad/cotton wool as you only need a small amount.

Great Makeup Remover! Lives Up to the Hype

I was very excited to trial this product and I have to say, my expectations were definitely met. The first thing I noticed was that it's not very viscous and in a bottle like that, I thought that it would be easily spilled and wasted. This was definitely not the case, as when tipped, it barely dripped out. You've got to squeeze to get a significant amount out which is great :D When used as a makeup remover, I was pleasantly surprised when it removed my light foundation, gel eyeliner and eye shadow. I'm pretty happy with it as a makeup remover and it takes 1-2 tries with a cotton pad to completely remove all the makeup. When used as a cleanser, it was very refreshing feeling, light and non-greasy which I love. There was no overpowering smell and it left my skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. There was also no stinging sensation-perfect for those with sensitive skin. My favourite feature of this cleanser is that you don't need to wash it off after use! It's not harsh on your skin and also non-drying. The amount you get for $12.99 is worth it.

Tips: Soak a cotton pad and use 1-2 times on face to completely remove makeup.

Makeup Magnet!

What can I say? Pretty Good! This really is amazing how well it take's off your makeup, the best way I can describe it is as I said in the title, a little Makeup Magnet Nothing like makeup wipes or anything else I've ever used for that matter, rather than smudging your left over makeup across your face it seems to just pull it away from the skin I have used this every night before bed and am loving it, I get a small cotton pad and soak it in the cleansing water, start with my mascara then eyes then rest of my face, it doesn't really have a smell, I didn't get any burning or tingling it literally feels like you're putting water on your face and it leaves your skin feeling like you've just got out of the shower I do have to use a couple of pads (But I do wear a lot of makeup) The bottle is really cute with the pink top and is a very generous size, say's on the label "200 uses" (we shall see) but I do see it lasting me a long time In conclusion I think it's a worthy product to keep on my shelf, I would repurchase and have already recommended to friends and family Go get some! You wont be disappointed!

Tips: Use a couple of cotton pads to get all of your face or even add to your makeup remover wipes for extra makeup ridding power! :)

Does The Trick!.

I was pretty skeptical about this product to begin with, how could something so simple be THAT great? I was pleasantly surprised. I applied it to a large cotton make-up pad and found it to be very effective at removing make-up although a wee bit stubborn at removing eye make-up but nothing's perfect. A little goes a long way so I can imagine that it'll live up to the claim that it'll last a long time. It does leaves your skin feeling a bit sticky after initial cleansing but it's brief and afterwards it leaves your skin feeling quite smooth. I'd say I have normal to dehydrated skin and it hasn't dried it out at all or caused any major breakouts. Only upset I have is that I have developed a little rash type area on my chin that I've never ever had before, I can't 100% say that it's caused through using this product though as could just be convenient timing. There's products out there that do alot less for alot more money so I'd consider this product to be a wise investment and would definitely repurchase.

Tips: With such a cheap price tag it is definitely worth grabbing a bottle and seeing if it works for you too!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I was overall very pleased with the Garnier micellar water. I found it to be quite effective at removing makeup without having to rub - the one exception to that was when I wore a heavy smoky eye with multiple layers of product and needed to remove it quickly. In those cases in future I would take most of the makeup off with a cleanser first and then remove the rest with a micellar water - I didn't initially because I wanted to see how the micellar water would perform on its own.

The micellar water is fragrance-free to my nose and does not irritate my skin at all. I did notice that after using a lot of it to remove heavy makeup it did leave my skin feeling slightly tight, but that isn't really a concern to me since I always follow up with moisturiser (although I did take off one lippie for that as it did not feel as "soothing" as Garnier claims).

I will definitely be repurchasing this product as it is extremely effective at removing makeup, doesn't irritate my skin and is at a reasonable price point. I am going to decant some into a smaller container for on the go or on holiday so I will always have it with me. It is also going to become a permanent part of my makeup artist's kit. I am so glad I got to trial it - thank you BR!

Tips: To effectively remove eye makeup, take a cotton pad and peel it apart into two pads. Saturate the pads with the cleansing water and place one pad on each eye. Gently press around the pad so it adheres to the eye. Wait a minute or two for the cleansing water to dissolve the makeup and then gently wipe it away (I usually brush my teeth while I wait).

Love this!!

I was so stoked to get to try this product. I have extremely dry, sensitive skin, and so to get to try something that claims to be gentle and yet still remove makeup? Well, it's like it was made for me.

First off, it's a decent sized product. Far bigger than other makeup removers etc I have used in the past. The packaging is simple, yet effective. It really does just look like water! And there is no smell. Which impressed me instantly, because most products with perfume, even ones that claim to be for sensitive skin, tend to react with my skin. It's easy to use. No mucking around with rinsing it off or anything like that, and is going to last AGES!

Now for the nitty gritty, I found this product really did work. I was sceptical at first. How can something that claims to be so gentle, and with such a short list of ingredients, actually remove my long wearing foundation and eye makeup? Well, it really did. I even found myself using it in the evening of days when I didn't wear any makeup. I had one moment when I was wearing some very heavy eye makeup, including multiple layers of waterproof mascara, and that was the only time I really had to scrub or go over an area more than once.

So all in all, I would not only recommend this to friends and family, but I will -eventually, when it runs out- be purchasing it again for myself. I struggle to find products that my skin doesn't react to. So when I do, I stick with it.

Thanks you BR for giving me a chance on this, and thanks Garnier for bringing this product out.

Tips: I use cotton makeup pads with this. I found that when dealing with eye makeup, if I held a pad with product on it on my eye for 20secs, it made it easier to gently remove eyeliner and mascara.

What is this magic?!?!?

I got this and I'm not going to lie. I was doubtful. I know. Shame on me.

I'm currently in bridesmaid mode for a friends wedding in Brisbane. We are have all been using this. I was nervous. I mean what if we all break out in spots and have wedding melt downs the size of Africa?!?? What if it doesn't take my make up off and I'm forever stuck in it?!?!?

This is amazing. Arm yourself with some cotton balls and wipe away. It took my eyemake up off in a single swipe. I just stood there in shock. This isn't normal. I kept on going. My make up came away easily and my face felt great. Now the tricky part for me isi always use my face wash after and I had to resist. For the sake of the trial. Guess what. A week later and my skin looks great.

It's a simple design with a clear liquid that looks like water. Magic water. The lid is easy to open and the top makes if easy to apply to cotton balls.

I think I am still in shock at how amazing this is. I will be using this again and I doubt I will ever use another make up remover. That's a big call. But it lives up to it.

Tips: I recommend some good cotton balls or cotton pads to remove this :) you will need a few and once they are dirty get a clean one to wipe off the last of your make up.

WOW Product!

I have been hearing some great things about this product so I decided to buy it and try it out. It took a few tries to actually find it because Farmers hadn't stocked it yet and the Countdowns did not have it either. The 3rd Countdown I went to had it so I was really excited because they had it on special for $9 instead of $12.99. I was really happy about the size of the bottle so you definitely get your moneys worth.

On my first use I used a round cotton pad and I spread the cleansing water all over the surface. I was amazed at after one swipe across my cheek, all my foundation was removed and it left a cooling sensation on my face which made my skin feel hydrated and clean instead of oily. The leftover cleansing water on my skin was just absorbed into my skin which was amazing!

I then removed my eye makeup and everything was removed with about 3 swipes, including my mascara. This was so important to me because I hated scrubbing my eyes to remove my mascara and eye liner.

One thing I did not like about this product was that when a little bit of the product got into my eye, it burned for a few seconds and I don't have sensitive eyes so I don't know how that would work on people who have very sensitive eyes.

That was a minor problem for me though because the burning only lasted about 4 seconds and there was no redness or itching.

Overall this is a great makeup remover and cleanser which is gentle on skin and requires no scrubbing at all.

Garnier Micellar water

A clear bottle with a pink pop top lid. 400 ml (great size) Clear liquid oily looking and bubbles. states that it has 200 uses from bottle. No scent. Water consistency and has no oily residue at all. I like to shake it and it bubbles up like a soap. I soak cotton pads and have learnt the more the better, as in, more pads. You only need a few squirms onto the pads and they absorb up the water. Then swiping over face starting at the eyes 1 pad each eye ensure to use both sides then continue on with the rest of the face. It doesn't scratch the face or feel harsh, it does tingle in the eye area and it removes makeup easily. However it doesn't get all of my mascara off. And still need to redo my eyes again with buds and wipes. This product is amazing and leaves you feeling clean. I've used it daily and it hasn't had any side effects no drying, breakouts and still a lot of liquid left. A bit bummed about the mascara not fully removing but still satisfied with product and am certain I'll get a lot of use from this bottle.
