I love the idea of it. Quick and easy to use, no fuss, just need the bottle and cotton pads. However, it stung my skin and especially my eyes when removing mascara. Also felt like it was stripping my skin making it way too tight and dry.

Tips: Use with cotton pads
Does not remove stubborn makeup. I prefer the double cleanse method (i.e. use an oil then a gentle cleanser) to remove makeup [works way better.]
I was quite curious to try this, and was excited to be part of the trial team.
The alcohol content stung my eyes, it wasn't extremely painful but enough that I wouldn't put that near my eyes again, which sort of defeats the purpose as most of my makeup were on my eyes! It did, however, clean quite well. I tried my normal make-up remover an hour later (I waited this long as I wanted to see how my skin felt) and it is only slightly coloured (so it wasn't 100% clean I suppose). Immediately after using this product, I felt my skin, and it was sticky, I waited a bit longer until it's all dried and it was still sticky. The worst thing came though, after about 10 min, I felt my cheeks flush and sensitive, and it was very itchy. The itch spread to my arms, so no, I will not use it again.
Tips: If you have sensitive skin, DON'T try it!
Here it is, I was super excited about this review and then I tried the Micellar Cleansing Water. Now, I have pretty clear skin other than a few small spots around that time of the month. So it wasn't much fun when my skin broke out majorly after using the Micellar Cleansing Water. Unfortunately, it got worse after day 3 ( I thought my skin may have just been adjusting) which meant I had to stop using the product. My skin has begun to clear up now that I have gone back to my normal regime. I'm quite gutted that this product didn't work out for me.
:(
Tips: Using cotton cosmetic pads made it easier to apply the Micellar Cleansing Water.
I rushed out to buy this because of the hype! was made out to be amazing for removing make up and washing brushes etc but it does remove my make up very well at all. I use a micro fibre cloth and water to get my make up off then run a cotton wool with micellar water over my face just to get any excess before using face wash, the middle step is really unnecessary but I'm just trying to use it all up
I follow a lot of UK people on Instagram who use and swear by this micellar water! They said it was like magic in a bottle. I couldn't wait til NZ started stocking this so I bought mine from FeelUnique. I was so excited about this product and sadly ended up being so disappointed. This barely removed any make up from my face when I pre cleansed and my eye make up just didn't budge! I was told to use this after cleansing but I didn't see the point as I prefer to use a proper toner after I cleanse. I wouldn't purchase this again, however I would still recommend it to people looking for something quick and easy after a night out because it seems a LOT of people out there love this micellar water. Sadly it seems like I'm one of the only people who weren't in love with this product :(
Tips: If you have a white dressing table like me and tend to make a mess while doing your face - this stuff is great for cleaning up afterwards! :)
I read a article about this before trials were sent out for trial. I remember it said it could be used for a number of things. 1. To remove makeup 2. To freshen up 3. To clean brushes. (They are the three I remembered and have trialed this for.
The bottle is see through with a neat little cap. I love the cap.
Last night I tried it to clean my brushes. For this purpose I give 5 kisses. I will use the rest of my bottle for this purpose. They came up clean and it was done quicker than using a bossy brush cleaner
Last night I used this to freshen myself up (as if I was away camping.) I didn't like this. For some reason I felt like I had a film left on my skin (underarms) and had to go wash it off after awhile as it didn't go away. For this I give 0 kisses
Last night I had a very soft simple makeup on. As soon as I put this on my face it stung. I am not sure why as I use another product like this and it is my favourite product. So I put it down to my skin being slightly dry (which it wasn't as I found out this evening) I had to put a heavy moisturiser on as my skin felt stripped.
Today I wore a heavier makeup look. I used this product to remove the makeup on the right side of my face only. Again it stung slightly (very confused at this) As it dried I touched my face to find that same film feel. On the left side of my face I used my normal MW product. No stinging. Once it dried no film feel was left on my skin. So now I used my normal on the right side. I found more makeup was left with the Garnier. Now my skin feels clean and not needing moisturiser now I have removed the Garnier from my skin.
The Garnier doesn't remove my mascara. I had to rub alot which is bad for around the eye area. I give 0 kisses for makeup removal.
The three kisses I gave on "would I use it again", yes I would only for cleaning my makeup brushes.
I wanted to like this product because it sounded like such a quick and easy way to remove make up, but also had so many other uses as described on beauty review. The problem is that I just did not like the product at all. It was effective at somewhat removing the make up, but I wouldn't use it alone, my face did not feel clean afterwards (felt a bit tacky) and I felt like I needed to wash it with water and another cleanser. So I guess you could use the product to remove the majority of make up before you do another wash, but due to the number of cleansing pads needed and the extra time and effort, it definitely was not worth it. I will hold onto the product and use it for when I have heavier make up on, but it will probably not be my go-to daily make up remover/ cleanser.
Tips: Use to remove majority of heavy make uo
I love the idea of this but it hurts my skin and leaves it feeling really slimy. I do not have super sensitive but to actually get my makeup of enough it really huts!
When I first opened the bottle I was impressed with the scent, or lack thereof. It didn't smell like a fake chemical product. I had to put a fair bit on the cotton pad to get it to lift my make-up, and I'm not a heavy make-up wearer. It did an ok job of removing my make-up but to be honest not as good as another brand. It certainly doesn't just lift dirt away from the skin as the ad says! I had to follow up with my usual cleanser and a flannel.
Tips: You do need a generous amount of product so don't be stingy putting it on the pad.
