I have received my Micellar Cleansing in a trial, and I really love it. Its price is very convenient for its size, 400ml is a huge bottle, compared with other eyes cleansing. I have used in all my face, starting for my eyes. This product has removed all my shadows and mascara perfectly. I have tested in waterproof mascara as well, I just have to use a little bit more product, but it works so well. It doesn't dry my skin out or leave it oily.

Tips: I soak a cotton round and place it on each eye for 10-20 seconds and swipe away.
I was so excited to trail this after reading rave reviews about it. I used some today, and I have to say it is good, super effective with removing makeup- I had barely any left on my skin. It left my skin feeling great and refreshed, but not significantly softer. It has a nice scent, nice packaging; I just don't think it is thaaat different to other makeup removers, but it is really good nevertheless!
Best Christmas Present Ever. Thank you - you know who you are!
If you've ever been lazy and didn't take off your makeup because it took too long, then your name is probably Melissa - because that's the story of my life. Well, it was anyways.
This is like the holy grail of makeup removers. It's the creme de la creme, the Chanel of the fragrance industry. It's simply the best, better than all the rest....
Ahem, where was I? Oh yes, the bottle is huge, so it's bound to last you forever and a day, but even if it doesn't, the packaging is so sleek and pretty you will want to.
It's cap is a click lid thingy, and it seals tightly so no having to worry about it spilling in your suitcase.
They say it lasts up to 200 uses, but I'd say you'll get about a 100 or 3 months' use out of it.
It's really fast and efficient to remove your makeup with this, and you don't have to wash your face afterwards because it leaves you feeling fresh and hydrated, almost as if it has a moisturiser in too. Can this product get any better?!
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a new makeup remover. And don't fear, they're hitting NZ shores soon so you won't have to buy online.
Tips: I buy mine from feelunique.com
I've heard plenty of YouTube beauty guru's go on about this product being a lifesaver, and I was very curious to try it. As an ex-make up wipe user, this product has totally converted me. The product does not irritate my skin and feels so refreshing, as well as removing every trace of my make up. While it isn't exactly (In the UK it's only £4, so around $9 NZ) it lasts for ages so it's definitely something I will be re-buying
Tips: Buy some large cotton pads to apply the product to your skin with
I purchased the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water as I wanted to try something different other than makeup wipes as I felt like makeup wipes were pulling at my skin while removing my eye makeup. I purchased the Micellar Water from feelunique.com in a gift pack which included a Garnier primer for $23 NZD. The cleansing water is just like water and felt like I was removing my eye makeup with water but much better. All of my eye makeup is removed after wiping over my eyes about 3 times as opposed to 8 or so times with makeup wipes. The bottle is huge and is lasting me for ages, saving me $. I will definitely be repurchasing the cleansing water. Hopefully it will be released in NZ stores soon as it said on the Garnier Facebook page!
I'd heard the hype about this little bottle of amazing and so picked some up on a recent trip to Sydney. I wish I'd bought a years worth! Garnier do say this will be on sale in NZ soon, but in the meantime I believe it's available online. NZ RRP looks to be around $15; I paid $11 in Australia.
The bottle is super generous for the price, at a 400 ml/200 use (so they claim) size. It's clear (great to track your usage) and accessorised with pink labels and cap. The product is called water and it looks and smells just like water, making you feel like you are simply wiping your face clean.
This is, in fact, what is happening. A little micellar water on a cotton pad negates the need for makeup wipes, make up remover and heavy cleansers. You simply don't need them. I find that this melts the makeup clear away, taking with it the grime and dirt of a day in the life of your face. It's cool and refreshing on the skin, non irritating, and effective on all makeup types I've tried it on (my default face is eyeliners/shadow, mascara, liquid eyeliner in bright colours, bb cream or light foundation and blusher.
Sometimes I use another cleanser after, sometimes I don't, but it's out of habit more than necessity. You don't need it unless you have heavier makeup on - and even then I'd just recommend a second micellar swipe, to be honest!
I'm completely sold. So much so that I actually messaged Garnier to ask when it would be available here, and was promised that it would be out in NZ 'very soon - early this year'
Tips: Buy it the second you see it:) It'll become a cult product FAST
I absolutely love this stuff. It's amazing. I have dry sensitive skin and this did not irritate or cause breakouts. I took my makeup off with wipes and then used the Micellar water with cotton pads and it removed a lot of left over makeup that was still on my skin. I purchased a few bottles while I was on holiday in australia as I don't seem to think we sell it here in NZ.
Due to my sensitive skin I don't have too much luck with cleansers. I use Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Oil-Free cleanser and it has served me well over the years but it's not too friendly on the pocket. I read great reviews about Garnier Micellar water and was disappointed Garnier NZ wouldn't be releasing it in NZ until some time in 2015 (last time I checked). I asked my sister to purchase it for me on her next visit home and I am stoked with the results!!
She purchased the 400ml bottle for $11AUD. This product does a great job at removing my makeup, it's almost effortless. The only time I have to put in a little bit of effort is when I have to remove kohl eyeliner. I use 2 cotton pads with 3-4 drops for each. 1 cotton pad to remove all my makeup and the other cotton pad to go over my face once more.
I wouldn't say my face feels refreshed (like how those citrus cleansers with microbeads leave your face feeling) but it definitely feels clean and free of makeup.
I'm not a fan of the bulky packaging or the lid - I feel like I'm going break the lid everytime I close it! But it's nothing a smaller bottle / spray bottle can't fix.
I really feel that my skin is in much better condition from using this product so will definitely keep using it and hopefully by the time I finish the bottles it'll be available in NZ.
This product is absolutely amazing. It is my holy grail makeup remover and i refuse to use anything else. it removes makeup like no other without even having to rub. I use this product on a cotton round and it effortlessly removes all of my makeup even the most waterproof mascaras. The bottle lasts a very long time and I've found that it is always on sale too. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and makeup-less.
I was really excited when I heard about this product, and even more excited when I was selected to trial it! Like all new 'revolutionary' products I had high expectations but also geared myself up for the possibility that it just may not live up to claims. Because the bottle is clear and the product itself looks just like water it gives the impression of being very clean and natural. I really like the use of the pinks used on the lid and for the writing on the bottle, it makes it feel very girly and feminine. Because the product is such a watery consistency I worried that too much would pour out when I overturned the bottle, but the lid made it really easy to control the amount that came out and one gentle squeeze dispensed the right amount I needed. When using a cotton pad to clean my face with the product, it felt literally like water, even when cleaning around my eyes the product was so gentle and did not sting at all. I was really impressed with how easily all my make up wiped off my face, even my waterproof mascara came straight off without smudging or leaving anything behind. Afterwards my face felt very clean and fresh, my skin didn't feel as soft as it does after my usual cleanser because there is no moisturiser in it, but removed my make up so much better. I also had to use such a small amount of product that the bottle will last a long time.
Tips: Use at the end of the day to remove make up and cleanse your face then apply a night cream for mouisturisation.
