Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

In the summer I always struggle to get my skin to feel healthy, but in using the Micellar Cleansing Water for the last week, its feeling so much better. Cleaner, clearer and its great for a busy mum, not having to wash it off!!!

I was excited but nervous to be reviewing this product, as previous garnier products have not gone well with my skin.. However my faith has been restored by the micellar water!

I used this to remove my make up at night when I couldn't really be bothered washing my face. I used small amounts of the product on cotton pads to wipe my make up off. The product was amazing at removing my foundation, and especially good for taking of eye make up such as mascara. I would definitely recommend using it!

I have extremely temperamental skin that likes to randomly react to products, so the fact that this caused no breakouts or reactions was amazing for me!

So I've been using this for the past week, morning and night, its very refreshing in the morning, and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean, but not smooth, it did manage to help remove make up at the end of the day which is great because I didn't have to scrub it off, so in those factors it worked very well and did what it said, but still no smooth skin finish. But I still like it and because its useful in more ways than smoothness ill use it again :)

This is absolutely amazing cleanser, it took my makeup off perfectly with only a couple of wipes and made my skin feel dewy after application.Also never made my skin breakout.Will be buying this again once bottle has finished And because not alot of product is needed I'm sure the bottle will be lasting at least 3 months The scent isn't overpowering either like some other cleansers I have used in the past.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this product. First of all, I love the size of the cleanser and the price. I think it's great value for money. Overall the packaging is simple but effective. There was no noticeable smell which was great and it was lovely and non irritating on my face. I found it quick and easy to use, it worked well for removing makeup and was a wonderful quick cleanser too. I have found it very nice and refreshing, especially in this hot weather when my face gets a bit sweaty after long walks or working out, also at night when I just want to get to bed, it's great to have a quick clean. Overall I have found this product to be quick and easy to use, great value for money, a good size and great on my skin.

I was so thrilled to receive a bottle of this from Beauty Review for trial, as I believe proper cleansing is the foundation for lovely skin, and I enjoy trying new cleansers. The bottle is so big - 400ml and therefore great value for money in my opinion. I tipped some product onto a flat cotton pad and it really does melt your makeup off, even all my eyeliner and mascara (my mascara is not waterproof, but I often have trouble getting all my eyeliner off - not with this though, it melts it off instantly). I used one side of the cotton pad for everything, then turned it over and used the other side to go over again. My skin felt smooth, clean and comfortable. Great product and so quick to use!

This product is so nice! I've never had a product that has removed my make up so good and left my skin feel amazing. I love how you don't have to use so much product, it was also really great because my skin normally hates make up removers and stings, but this one it didn't! I will be re purchasing :)

I was very excited to trial this product and I have to say, my expectations were definitely met. The first thing I noticed was that it's not very viscous and in a bottle like that, I thought that it would be easily spilled and wasted. This was definitely not the case, as when tipped, it barely dripped out. You've got to squeeze to get a significant amount out which is great :D When used as a makeup remover, I was pleasantly surprised when it removed my light foundation, gel eyeliner and eye shadow. I'm pretty happy with it as a makeup remover and it takes 1-2 tries with a cotton pad to completely remove all the makeup. When used as a cleanser, it was very refreshing feeling, light and non-greasy which I love. There was no overpowering smell and it left my skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. There was also no stinging sensation-perfect for those with sensitive skin. My favourite feature of this cleanser is that you don't need to wash it off after use! It's not harsh on your skin and also non-drying. The amount you get for $12.99 is worth it.

I have recently lacked a decent makeup remover. In my laziness I usually opt for a makeup removing wipe and then give my face a rinse. But during the last few weeks I've found myself, instead, reaching for my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

It has, very close to, the consistency of water and does not leave a residue like most other removers. I suppose I could describe it a water, but better!

Personally, I found that it does a decent job on most makeup. It easily takes of my foundation and powders, my usual mascara is relatively easy but the eyebrows need a little work. I'd say the only let down is that it wont take off my water-proof mascara. Luckily I only wear it once a week..

Overall, its a decent makeup remover. More pros than cons and you get a lot of product for the price. I am unsure if this will be a repurchase once I run out, purely because I prefer something that can take off my waterproof mascara, like my Neutrogena Oil-Free one. But unlike the Neutrogena one, I prefer that this formula doesn't leave a horrible residue. Update to come about the repurchase...... ;)
