I have used a few makeup removers over the years and they have to be good at removing waterproof mascara. Couldn't find my other go to one so had to try something different instead. After browsing the shelves thought I would give this one a go. Must admit I was a bit sceptical as to whether it would be as good as my other one, and whether it would live up to the claims. I'm happy to say that yes it did live up to the claims and I love it. It's so nourishing, non greasy and you don't need to use much at all. It's now my go to and I highly recommend it. The size of the bottle is large so lasts for ages.

Tips: Shop around ... prices can vary up to $10. I also just use it around my eye area and then use a makeup remover cloth all over my face.
This does the job with removing make-up and doesn't irritate. It does leave a slightly oil feel to the skin and for this reason I prefer the regular micellar water.
Tips: Shake bottle well.
I love using Garnier Products, but didn't find that I would use this one again. It did what it said it would and took off my makeup product on my face and eyes however, it left a very oily, residue on my face and hands. It didn't make my face feel 'clean' or 'soothed'. I wouldn't buy this product again.
I find the only.makes the water work just that much harder at removing makeup. I really like the added oil for more moisture too. Excellent and lasts FORVER. A great product I'll use again.
Thoroughly removes all make up. Gentle on the skin. And also really hydrating. My skin is very dry, and sensitive, and this really soothes.
Such a great micellar water to remove eye makeup, especially mascara or high pigmentation shadows, I even loved using it to remove matte lipsticks. This didn’t make me feel dry after using it either. I’m really happy with this micellar water and I will continue to repurchase!
Tips: Use on a q tip to remove eyeshadow for a clean cut!
I bought this Micellar as my normal Neutrogena Oil Cleanser was out of stock at Countdown and I’m so glad I did. This is definitely going to replace it as it is effective at removing nearly all my makeup and is double the size. Every other time I have used a Micellar it’s never got my skin as clean as I would like it.
The formula is bi-phase so oil over water, just give it a shake before use. There is a smell of Argan oil which I actually don’t like but it won’t stop me from buying this again but does mean it’s a 4/5 for me especially if you are sensitive to that scent.
I use a few swipes on a cotton pad firstly on my face then a bit more vigorously on my eyes when I’ve worn shadow and mascara. It even removes Maybelline superstay matte lipstick which is a miracle as that’s hard to budge. I always have a wet flannel handy after I use this as although it says on the bottle no greasy feeling I can still feel it on my skin. On the odd day I have a bit of dark makeup that it hasn’t removed I just use another corner of my pad and use some additional eye makeup remover.
Tips: My dear mum made me some reusable cotton pads instead of using disposable ones from the store, invest in a makeup remover cloth or similar for the environment.
As a fan of the standard Micellar water I was excited to see one that has oil in to remove stubborn mascara as well. Boy was I wrong. Normally I have no issues removing my day to day mascara so thought it would be a breeze however that’s not the case. The texture just also feels dry if that makes sense and it take A LOT of product to even make it budge.
Won’t be buying it again.
I was disappointed especially after reading reviews. My face went very oily and broke out almost immediately
A very interesting product. The oil mixing with the water was a strange concoction and had a shiny sparkle to it and left a residue on my hands after applying it to a cotton pad. I think I prefer original micellar water as it has a similar power at working to remove makeup.
