Basic Micellar Water

I had pretty high hopes for this micellar water, and I was excited about the vitamin c aspect of it. It was nice to use but very comparable to any other similar product.

The packaging on this product is okay, however the lid tends to break easily and leak.

The micellar water itself had a really nice scent, but for a cleanser/makeup remover, something with no scent tends to be gentler on the skin.

It did a good job of removing my makeup, but it left a greasy film on my face after using. If you were using this as a sort of precleanser/makeup remover it would be good, because you have to clean your skin after to get the film off. I did notice that it did an awesome job of removing eye makeup, including stubborn eyeliner which was nice.

Overall this product was decent, especially for the price. If you like scented products and you're happy to double cleanse, I would definitely recommend this. If you are adverse to scented products I would skip this one, and go for one of Garnier's other micellar waters.

Keep in mind that everyone's skin is different, and my experience may be different to yours!

Tips: Apply to a makeup pad and thoroughly cleanse your face, and then use a separate cleanser if needed.

Garnier Micellar Water Vitamin C

I love the thought of using vitamin c products on my face and have always been tempted with others but the price point tends to put me off.

This stuff is lovely! It feels so fresh on your skin and has a bit of a citrus blast kind of scent. I've used it both morning and night. Definitely recommend using in the morning, it just makes you feel fresher and all ready to start the day right.

In terms of make up removal it was good. Not so sure about the 'one swipe' claims, but it did do the job without too much of a hassle.

Brightening and skin evening are also a big plus for the Vitamin Cg and it didn't disappoint there. I'm pregnant with twins at the moment and look pretty haggard to say the least. I think this product definitely did help to brighten me up a little.

I have quite sensitive skin and this didn't make my face flare up at all, and I felt confident that I didn't need to worry about any unknown chemicals and nasties that will lead to reactive dermatitis.

I think you get great bang for your buck with this micellar water. Really decent sized bottles for a price that won't hurt the bank balance. Absolutely love that the bottle is made of 100% recycled plastic, so feel like you're doing a bit for the environment as well!

It's a great product and I will definitely be purchasing again!

Tips: Use in the morning for a real wake me up boost!

Vitamin C Micellar!

I enjoyed this trial team - thank you Beauty Review and Garnier!

The bottle is your usual micellar bottle, just yellow. It's bright and cheery I love it!! I always find the caps good enough for sitting on the shelf but if you were travelling with this you'd want to make sure it was securely stowed upright.

The fragrance is lovely, summery and light.

It works like normal micellar, I use reusable pads and this with the pads does a very good job of getting my face clean without being squeaky clean!

Absolutely love it - it will last ages too so its good for the pocket!

Garnier vitamin c micellar water

Removes eye makeup really well. Haven’t used it enough times in a row to notice a brightening affect just yet. The smell is quite strong it reminds me of a face wash I used when I was young I think the nutrogena grapefruit one but the smell brings back memories!

Tips: Pour onto a cotton pad leave on eye or skin for a couple seconds then wipe lightly

Refreshing and smells lovely!

You know what's missing from normal Micellar water? FRAGRANCE!

You really get a full bodied experience here, it feels like you're using a product rather than just wiping water over your face, which I love.

This is refreshing and light and feels wonderfully cooling. It removes makeup and grime easily and comes in a great sized bottle!

It definitely brightens the skin.

I'm loving this new twist on micellar!

My skin is looking great!

I've been using the Garnier Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water for a couple of weeks, and so far I'm impressed!

I'm still trying to learn about different skincare ingredients and what their benefits are, so I didn't really know anything about Vitamin C and its uses in skincare. To be honest I didn't think a micellar water would be able to live up to its skin-brightening claims. Then I tried it, and after a week or so I started noticing how NICE my skin looks. When I take my makeup off using this product, my skin looks naturally radiant - not dry, not oily, just healthy and glowy in the best way. Thankfully I've also noticed that it doesn't irritate my eyelids like many other cleansers do. If you have sensitive skin and are prone to eczema, I'd recommend trying this one out because it's truly very gentle.

While I was impressed with the product, I can't quite give it 5 stars because it claims to remove makeup without any rubbing required... but if you're like me and enjoy wearing full-glam eye looks, you'll know that you can't simply glide a cotton pad over your face once and have all your makeup instantly slide right off! Don't get me wrong, it's good at removing makeup but it's not quite the magical one-step solution it claims to be.

Tips: To effectively remove eye makeup, use this micellar water with a baby wipe rather than a cotton pad - it'll save you a lot of time and effort, trust me!

Hydrating and refreshing

This micellar water carries vitamin c which is amazing to help brighten your skin while also adding in anti gaining benefits and helping with redness.

It has a light citrus smell which I found quite refreshing and not too strong. I have found some micellar waters can be quite drying to my skin and leave it feeling tight after using. I didn’t have this issue at all. In fact my skin felt as if I had already applied my moisturiser after using and I hadn't. I have quite sensitive skin that can be prone to redness after using products, I didn’t get any redness from this product.

I love that it does a good job of cleaning your face with cotton pads should you not feel like fully washing your face or are in a hurry.

Overall would recommend to try this micellar water should you find others to be too harsh and drying for your skin.

A light makeup remover that packs quite the punch

Having used the classic Garnier Micellar water, I had high hopes for the Vitamin C rendition. I was pleasantly surprised! I tested this product with varying levels of makeup, from a light brush of concealer to a heavy beat with eyelash glue and the entire works. I have to say, I was very impressed at how when applied to makeup, it disintegrated the makeup with the same level of ease that a stronger, balm/oil consistency would.

This product was also fantastic for actually helping my skin. I'd wake up with a glow that most other makeup removers don't really offer. It's an added bonus when it does the job and benefits your skin's balance.

The only downside of this product is that there is quite a harsh, chemical scent. It didn't set off my skin or eyes however, it certainly gave away the drugstore nature of the product.

Tips: I would combine this with a little bit of makeup remover oil for a really good scrub! Also, use a reusable makeup cloth or the removal brushes to ensure you're really getting everything off!

Brightening and cleansing

I love using micellar water because I find it's a much nicer cleanser on my sensitive skin. It allows me to easily clean by gently wiping and does not sting as much as other cleansers. The difference between this micellar water and Garnier's usual is the Vitamin C - which helps brighten the skin. I love double duty skincare, so this was great. I didn't feel like it made much difference on the evenness of my tone, but did notice some brightening. However, it also stings a little bit more, perhaps due to the Vitamin C, so it's not my preferred choice for my next bottle I think. Overall, love micellar water, and love the idea of Vitamin C adding to the mix, but I did find the formula a bit stinging.

Garnier Micellar Water Vitamin C

I have loved using the new Garnier Micella Water Vitamin C. The cleanser not on smells great, with hints of citrus, but it super light. It effectively cleans away any makeup and impurities on your skin at the end of the day. Following using the Garnier Micella Water Vitamin C for a week my skin felt fresh and clean and I believe that my pores are clearer, skin is brighter with less redness.

Tips: A small amount squirted on to a cotton wipe will effectively cleanse your whole face. No need to rinse after application.
