Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti Age Day Cream Reviews

Loved the attractive mint green packaging, I feel it will draw attention to itself on the supermarket shelves, and the fact that it's clearly labelled 'organic' and 'vegan' on the front of the box will get people interested right away. I have never used vegan or organic products before and are pleased to know they will be readily avaible at the supermarket. I liked the nice glass jar it came in too, there's something about using a product out of glass compaired to plastic. I found the smell of the Lavadin a bit too strong, and feel this face cream would be better marketed as a night cream, it made me feel sleepy! My Daughter said it smelt beautiful like a garden, my Husband did not like it at all and said I smelt like and old lady!. after the first few days of using it my skin had a break out, but maybe that was from switching from my usual brand of face cream? it got better over the few weeks I used it. Would I buy it again? most likely not. I did not enjoy the smell or the consistency. would I recommend it to a friend? probably not either. sorry but this Day cream was not a hit for me.

I am quite picky when it comes to facial moisturizers and looked forward to trialing this one, unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

The packaging is nice, it comes in a glass jar with a screw top lid, the scent is pleasant and not too overpowering – lavender can be quite strong but this does settle into the skin quickly. I found I needed quite a big dollop of this to really feel like it was working well to moisturize my combination skin, the texture is nice and thick but I did not feel like it gave me a deep moisturized feeling under my makeup like other products do. It absorbs into the skin well and doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy, yet it almost feels like my skin is dry and moisturized after an hour or two.

The smell of the lavender in this cream is very overpowering, I like the smell of lavender but not to this extent, however I tried it for 2 weeks and found it also caused raised red bumps, not spots, on my face. I stopped using it and they settled. I thought I would give it another go but unfortunately the same thing happened. I’m wondering if my cream was a one off with far to much lavender added. The smell is so strong, reminds me of moth balls. If you love the smell of lavender you’ll love this

I love the sustainable packaging and sourcing of products but this one wasn’t for me. While I liked the texture of the product and had no issue with it on my skin - it moisturised well and didn’t cause blackheads or irritate my skin which some moisturisers do - I felt the smell of this one was just too overpowering for me and it didn’t sink in as quickly as I like for a day moisturiser (I prefer something that sinks in quick so I don’t have to wait very long to put my makeup on). I’m going to finish off the jar I have and will do an update when I’ve been using it longer in case it’s just a case of my skin adjusting to it, but based on the 10 day trial this isn’t one I’ll continue using or recommend to others.

This cream comes in a glass pot, it has a lovely texture and a little goes a long way. I was disappointed that it does not have SPF as it is a day cream though. The morning chaos of getting 3 kids organised for school disappeared as I applied this cream and inhaled the calming, soothing smell of lavender... Just lovely. I have combination skin and found that the cream did not absorb well on my T zone and it remained very oily all day. I think this cream would be perfect for people with dry skin.

I decided to buy this when it was half price at new world. Bargain!! I like the new range garnier are doing but for the love of god bring back the rose cleanser!! Micellar water is not a face wash!!!

It applies really easily and smells sooo good. I love it. I dont notice the smell after a while which is great, though i wouldn't be sad sniffin lavender all day!

I found it to be a bit too thick, and using the less is more technique helped, but not really. Its a bit too greasy for me and i find myself using less and less.

Its not a horrible lotion but i am so used to using my trilogy one, so if it doesnt act like that one its a no go from me!

Worked fine for me. Kept my face soft and supple. It was amazing for under makeup to make your skin not look oily or anything. Kept skin soft and looked like it was supple

This day cream comes in a 50ml solid and heavy glass jar. Love the feel of the jar and the lid - no issues trying to get the lid back on which is great. It is a deliciously creamy formula and as such, a little goes a long way. Feels wonderful on my skin and my sometimes sensitive skin didn't react at all. Only downside (for me) was the scent - it was not as enjoyable as the other product scents in the range. I was not transported to a dayspa on application - I kind of wanted to get it on and absorbed as quickly as possible. I also loved the outer packaging - it is easily recognizable and attractive in the green recycled cardboard box with a simple image of the Lavandin used. I will continue to use this daycream as part of my routine (along with rest of the range) as I am keen to see how great my skin feels and looks after a few more weeks of using. I have a feeling I am going to be really happy as I am happy with the results so far. My skin is definitely looking more supple and hydrated and fresher ... I am impressed and excited.

This is a nice feeling cream and a little goes a long way. I have found the fragrance to be way too overpowering for my liking. It was ok the first couple of days, but after that, I almost cringed applying it as the smell was too much for me. I also didn't feel like my skin was hydrated like other day creams I have used...perhaps it was just the firming of my skin I was feeling. I haven't been using the product to be able to say honestly if it makes a difference to my skin I love that it is organic and they have put so much thought into the sustainability of producing it. I am not sure I would purchase this again just because I found the smell a little too much.

Not a fan of Garnier skincare. Everything feels so cheap! And it doesn’t do much for my skin. My skin feels dry, and feels like i have to reapply every couple of hours.
