Let's start with what's on the outside of this one. I love the packaging being entirely cardboard and the tube itself looks and feels very 'French pharmacy' which I'm not ashamed to admit I'm impressed by.
The cream itself is easily dispensed from the fine tip applicator and it meant that I never applied too much. I found the consistency 'just right' for an eye cream, quite thick but sort of melted into the eye area. I applied it before make up in the morning and had no problems with how quickly it absorbed, and my concealer sat very nicely on top.
Some eye creams have been known to leave my eye area with little bumps and I've been very glad that this one hasn't done that at all. In fact, I think it's probably gentle enough for quite sensitive skin- it is subtly fragranced though.
Overall, I found this product did what it said it would in terms of replenishing moisture to my eye area. It feels refreshing and sets you up well for the day. I can't say I noticed a brightening effect, although maybe that comes with longer-term use?
I love eye creams, especially when they're cooling and soothing which this is!
I've noticed with twice daily use my bags look reduced and the general area looks smoother and plumper.
The lavandin scent with this product is very mild.
I've always associated Garnier with being a young person's brand, but after using this and seeing a reduction in fine lines after just two weeks, I'm rethinking everything!
