I loved the concept behind the organics range. All the ingredients are natural or naturally derived. I can have very sensitive skin but my skin never reacted to any of the products in the range. The products have a very herbally smell but it is very heavily scented. However, the range really didn’t work for me personally. I have relatively normal skin type and found every one of the products extremely drying!! I think it would be more suitable for really oily skin. I would never purchase the range again as i like using very glowy and moisturising skincare and this did not do that for me.

As a whole, this regime didn't work too well for me. As much as I liked the toner, it didn't make up for the lack of moisture the moisturiser gave my skin. The toner and face wash seemed to work well together, both with pleasant low-key scents. As a basic skin wash/toner regime it works well, but for someone with skin that's prone to breakouts I need something a little more powerful.
I have been using all three products the past week and found they did work ok with each other but it just wasn’t really for me. The scent is quite strong of lemongrass for all three products but if that’s a smell you enjoy you may like this part! I was expecting my skin to glow and be clear after using all three but sadly it wasn’t the case. My skin did break out during the week while using these products but I won’t put it down to 100% being because of them! I did like the toner, but unfortunately not so much with the other products. The fact that these are vegan and use are organic products are great though!
Tips: Use after showering
The system works well together and it certainly lived up to claims - my skin wasn’t as oily in the evenings - but the fragrance is so strong, I struggled to use it. It has a very strong lemongrass fragrance that doesn't go with my perfume so it’s for that reason I wouldn't repurchase or recommend this skincare system.
The bottles are nice and dispense well. The cleanser has a pump that can lock. The toner has a flip lid and the moisturiser squeezes out of the tube. I like the packaging and the sizes are really good, especially for the gym as they are fairly small. With all 3 products, a little goes a long way so they will still last a while
The cleanser foams and spreads.well. The toner absorbed nicely and the moisturiser is quite a light one which is perfect for me. It spreads easily so you don't need a lot.
Functionally, the system worked well, so those who enjoy lemongrass fragrance might like these products.
I wasn't super impressed with this trio. My biggest negative is the smell, I really was not a fan of the scent of any of the products and this really put me off. They did however mostly do what they said they would. My skin was left really nice and clean after cleansing, with no residue on the makeup pad after toning. The moisturiser is a very runny consistency but doesn't sink into my skin overly well. I also thought my skin looked quite shiny early in the day. Although I do appreciate the organic and vegan-friendly nature of the products.
So I used each product twice a day for one week, dropping the toner to once a day after 4 days. Together they are a great set, the scent is nice and consistent, the products compliment each other well and you only have to use a small amount of product each use. However, I did start to feel my pores clogging up about 3 days into using the trio but a salt scrub and pore mask fixed this. It also made my acne flare up quite bad which was a major downside because I was really enjoying how refreshing and healthy the trio made my face feel and look. I think the hot weather may have also affected this so I will definitely re-try this trio in the colder months and I feel the results will be a lot better then. - The Detox gel wash was fantastic. Super cleansing and refreshing. I would have loved to try the Konjac sponge with the product to compare the deep cleaning to the regular cleaning. The gel on it's own is cleansing enough though. Super gentle on skin too. I have nothing negative to say about it. - The toner didn't mattify as claimed but it did brighten and refine my skin which made my skin look plump and healthy. It also made my acne and scaring more prominent. - The moisturiser was very hydrating, dries fast and lasts all day. This has been the most hydrating moisturizer I've ever had. It did make my oily sections really oily despite claiming to balance oily zones which made my acne flare up really badly. I will definitely use this trio again.
Tips: Don't use too much product, I found that 1 pump for the face gel, 3 drops of the toner and a pea sized amount of moisturizer was more than enough for a good coverage.
I was so excited to try these products- as they’re all vegan/natural-based products and suitable for sensitive skin which is right up my alley!!! I like the packaging colour scheme- the green and white combo is nice. Simple but I really liked it. I also like that on the backs of the products, it’s got the list of ingredients and where they come from (the natural source), which was really cool. They all smell really fresh, the lemongrass and thyme go well together. I felt that these products worked well together as a range, although I do think that they could also be effective on their own. I have a dry skin type and these are aimed more at normal/combination/oily types- so perhaps these would work better on someone with these skin types. I thought all the products had a nice smooth texture and made my skin feel refreshed afterwards. My sensitive skin didn’t react at all to any of these products!!!! Not even a sting or anything! My skin also did not feel dry or tight after using any of these products- my skin felt good after using them all! And the more I used them, my skin still didn’t react (which happens sometimes). Very good for sensitive skin!!! Overall, I probably wouldn’t use these products as a range together- mostly because of my dry skin type (the moisturiser wasn’t hydrating enough for my skin). However I would still use them individually, particularly the cleanser (my fave of the three).
Tips: All three are awesome on sensitive skin! The moisturiser would not be suited to a dry skin type.
The cleanser is good - it foams but not too much, it left my skin feeling clean but not tight and stripped of moisture.
The moisturiser is lovely - smells so fresh and leaves skin feeling refreshed and moisturised.
The toner is ok - it's just not for me, it caused too much dryness for me to continue using it past this trial.
I love the natural approach Garnier is taking - the packing is wonderful, as are their commitments to the environment and sustainability.
An interesting range, and one I recommend checking out.
I was excited to have the cleanser, toner and moisturiser sent to me as I was looking forward to trying a range that was price friendly/easily accessible but also vegan and organic.
A little goes a long way which is fantastic. The packaging is nice enough and suits the range. The lemongrass is overwhelming if you are not into strong scents, and it is strongest in the cleanser which may be a deal breaker for some.
I love that the cleanser is a gel wash with a pump lid. It makes it great to use in the shower as there is no fussing. When I first used it I did three pumps however far too much product came out. I found that one is actually plenty which is great, and it foams nicely. I like how I can lock the lid to that I can take it with me while travelling.
Even when using the cleanser in the shower, once I applied the toner I had some makeup come off on the toner pad. I found a double cleanse is worth doing just in case (especially if not using in the shower).
The toner was my favourite product from the range. I love how it has salicylic acid in it, because I know that ingredient is effective on my acne prone skin. The scent is less heavy in the toner which is nice. I also like the ingredients that have paired the salicylic acid with, to ensure that it is not too harsh on the skin. I think for this reason it would suit a range of skin types. I definitely prefer the thyme scent of the toner - the scent is less heavy in the toner (as opposed to the cleanser) which is great.
The moisturiser seems soak in quickly/doesn't make my skin feel oily. However, I prefer using it at night rather than applying makeup over it in the morning.
The main reason for this is that unfortunately on the first day I used it, when I started applying foundation it began coming off in peels on my face. The next time I used it with a different foundation and did not experience the flaking however I have used a few different moisturisers with the first foundation and it has never flaked before. I am sticking to nights now as I don't really have the time to take all my product off and start over if it was to peel again. This issue would stop me from buying it again or recommending it to friends, as there are so many other moisturisers that work just as well but don't cause the piling.
The cleanser doesn't leave a squeaky clean feeling which is nice. I do find my skin could feel a bit tight at night after using all three products. I think the range would work best in the Summer months.
I think that while I'll keep using the cleanser and the toner, I'll pair it with a richer moisturiser and bring the moisturiser from the range back out in Spring.
My skin has not broken out from the range at all which I really appreciate. The moisturiser was a bit disappointing because of the peeling but it still works as a nice Summer night moisturiser and the cleanser and toner are great. I will keep using the cleanser, and would repurchase the toner.
I trialed the cleansing gel in a clear plastic pump bottle; the toner in a clear pladtic bottle; and moisturiser in a green plastic tube.
I ended up taking the products with me abroad as they arrived just before a vacation.
They smell so fresh and the essential oil and smell is pretty much my favourite feature of the range.
The cleansing gel is really thick. My skin is combination/ oily and the gel has managed to keep oiliness at bay. However hasn't been great at any deep cleaning in my pores at all.
The toner is very watery but left my skin feeling rejuvinated. I didn't find it had any other effect aart from feeling fresh and clean.
The moisturizer is dispensed in a tube, which I always find I can end up with too much product. The moisturizer is a good consistency and absorbs well without feeling greasy.
Overall uding all three products together was a treat as I ususlly mix and match products from various ranges. The lemongrass and thyme combination made for a beautiful fresh cleansing, toning and moisturising regime. I've found my skin has broken out just as much as usual but doesn't appear as well cleansed as it is does with my usual products.
