Garnier Organics Lemongrass Moisturiser Reviews

This moisturiser initially surprised me as it is quite runny - I am used to using thick and cream moisturisers. However I loved this consistency because it meant that it instantly absorbed into my skin instead of leaving a sticky finish. It smells just like the rest of the line, a fresh lemon grass sent that goes away very quickly. My skin felt hydrated and healthy afterwards and I could put makeup. on straight away after applying because of how quickly it absorbs.

I really enjoyed Garniers organic lemongrass moisturiser. The cream had a really nice consistency and it applied so easily, without needing to use too much product and being able to spread well. I found the product to be really hydrating with long lasting hydration as well! I loved the lemongrass smell, yet it wasn’t too overwhelming which is good. The product comes in a really nice size tube which would easily fit in a handbag which is convenient.

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! I love the lemongrass scent of this moisturiser. It has a gel consistency which is different from all the other moisturisers I have used, but I actually really liked it. This moisturiser is easy to apply evenly and absorbs quickly. It leaves no greasy residue while also leaving your skin hydrated throughout the day. Unfortunately I will have to swap to another product over winter because I don’t think it will cut it when my skin dries out from the cold weather. But it is definitely great when you are trying to prevent oily skin and pimples though.

The design on the packaging is really cute. I do wish that it had a pump top for convenience though. Also that it was a bit bigger (it’s only 50ml) because I am sure I will finish it way before I will finish the toner and face wash in this range.

I really like this moisturiser and it will definitely remain part of my summer skincare routine. Highly recommend!

I have combo skin with a very oily t-zone.

The pros. - The scent is really wonderful - I wouldn't think about lemongrass in a moisturiser, but it works. Especially for day time use - really refreshing on that sleepy skin. - The tube is easy to hold, and a generous size. - The lid is very secure. - A good price - it'll last about 6 weeks of daily use. - It's light and non-greasy and absorbs well - It doesn't leave skin shiny, which for us oily gals is a big deal!

The negatives: None!

A really great moisturiser for oily to combo skin - it's not too rich, not too heavy and doesn't leave any residue behind to block pores.

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR! I really wasn't expecting much and I don't often get excited over a facial moisturiser but boy do I love this!

It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid, consistency wise it is definitely more of a semi thick gel. The scent is nice it smells refreshing. You don't need to use much as a little bit definitely goes a long way.

I have dry, sensitive skin and get breakouts so I have to be careful what I put on my face.  Well I'm happy to say that my face loves this! I have not experienced any stinging or irritation at all and it does not cause any pimples! Brilliant!

This leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It is the perfect base for makeup and it doesn't make my skin go oily at all. I really do love this. It is not something I would have looked at in the supermarket and purchased so I am grateful for trying new things from the vault. I highly recommend this and will buy it again and again!

I didn’t mind this moisturiser, it has an interesting texture runny gel rather than thick moisturisers which I tend to prefer. Has a very strong scent which I didn’t mind but this may deter some people. I found it left my skin tight but not dry.

Love the smell of this moisturiser. I usually react to moisturisers but this one was nice to my skin. The formula was nice and not sticky or greasey. It applied nicely. The only downfall for me was that it absorbed into my skin quicker than I would of liked and my skin didn't feel as hydrated as it does with other moisturisers. My skin did feel nice during the day and not as flakey as it normally is so I will continue to use this.

I had the organics toner and gel wash which i also used together with the organics moisturiser and all went really well together as a facial regime.

This lemongrass scented moisturiser isn't too watery nor too thick so it's a good consistency. It worked well to smooth out my skin and left it feeling fresh. The smell wasn't over powering, but i'm not a fan of it. I only had to use a little bit, and also had to squeeze the bottle for it to come out as tipping it upside down didn't actually do anything. I will continue to use this as part of my regime as i liked how my skin looked after. Left it feeling very smooth and redness was gone!

This moisturiser is very light on the skin. The product itself feels very silky and you don't need much of it to get a full coverage. It isn't greasy at all and soaks in quickly.

The scent is super refreshing and makes my skin feel really clean after use. It rubs in easily and is fast to absorb.

I do think that my skin still feels slightly dry after use so think it could be a little more "moisturising", but it definitley provides some moisture and it's a lovely silky product nonetheless.

This moisturiser comes in a small tube with a simple design for the labeling. I saw it in the supermarket and the minty green stands out on the shelf as it isn't a colour used often.

I love that the product is organic and vegan. This is definitely something people are more concerned about now days. And it is nice to know what is going on your skin, not a list of products you have no idea what they are.

The moisturiser itself it very light and runny. You do not need much as it goes a long way however it still feels like you have enough on the skin. It absorbs fast and isnt heavy and doesn't leave a residue.

Unfortunately there was one negative for me...the smell! It is a fresh smell but way to overpowering. However this is personal so you may love the smell, it's just not for me.

I would use again but maybe look for a different fragrance in the range, as I did love the product.
