Garnier Organics Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash Reviews

The first thing I noticed about this was the smell. It's quite refreshing and then when I put it on my face it smelt even better. I really loved using this product, you only need a small amount on your hand and it goes a long way. I like the feeling of the gel a lot more compared to the likes of foamed, creamy and exfoliant cleansers. It feels like you're lathering aloe Vera gel. It's refreshing and gentle. It left my skin feeling fresh and clean and also made it easier for me to squeeze my blackheads. Will deffinetly keep using.

This is the first cleanser I have ever used that doesn't leave my skin super dry after use. Firstly, it smells exactly like it says - lemon grass. It is a light gel consistency that lightly foams as you apply it to the skin. It feels really gentle as you rub it in, not like you are scraping all the natural oils out of your skin. It has that slight cold feeling, like when you put vapor rub on your skin but it is very light and refreshing. After washing it off my skin feels clean but not dried out it is amazing.

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! This is a gel wash for normal to combination skin. The lemongrass smells amazing, and the gel consistency foams slightly when used. A little goes a long way so the bottle will last a long time. The bottle is clear which is great because it’s so much easier to know when you are about to run out. It also has a pump top, which is always my preference for face washes. The design on the bottle is super cute too.

After using, my face feels really clean but not dried out. My skin has been feeling great since using this face wash along with the toner and moisturiser in this range. I haven’t had any pimples and my skin is hydrated and shine free. This is my new favourite face wash and I will definitely be repurchasing when it runs out. Highly recommend!

After using this product my skin feels a lot more clean and refreshed. It feels really gentle on your face but leaves your skin feeling fantastic. I suffer from dry skin and this wash left my skin still feeling hydrated after use which is a major plus for me. Love this gel wash, it definitely is a must have

The Detox Gel Wash was my favourite product by far. The 150ml bottle is slim in size, the pump although a bit flimsy (mine had fallen off in transit) the actual bottle is made from 100% recycled plastic the Lemongrass scent of the wash is devine, it's really refreshing and does not sting your skin at all! I didn't feel as thought the gel wash stripped my skin and It felt soft afterwards. the gel consistency is nice and foams easily, doesn't feel sticky or drying. I would use this product again

I generally don't write reviews other than when I am on a review team. But I am so impressed with Garnier Organics Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash, I just had to share.

Ok, I shop at the supermarket for health and beauty products, so I am a bit of cheapskate. And I first purchased Lemongrass Detox Gel Wash when it was on special at around $10.00. But now it is my go too daily face wash.

But for me, it does what it says. My skin is just over 50 year old and combination....always changing in fact. So I can enjoy a thorough clean with a glorious scent. Garnier suggest pairing with a Konjac Cleansing Sponge for a deep clean, but I just use my fingers.

I also love the full disclosure of ingredients, in plain and easy to understand language on the back of the bottle under the title "What's The Source". Even I can read this with my aging eyes!

One last positive...the pump top. If you twist the pump it locks and you won't end up with product all through your toiletry bag when you take it away with you. Nice!!

I don't usually buy Garnier face washes as I generally find them too harsh and chemically, however I decided to give this a go as my usual was out of stock. Also, I thought being marketed as organic, maybe this would be different from the usual Garnier range. I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly, I adore the lemongrass scent, it reminded me of being in a day spa. It didn't irritate my skin, lathered up nicely and did a fab job at cleansing and removing all my makeup without drying. The bottle easily dispenses and is a generous size so paired with a good price, this is very affordable. This will be my new go-to and I am looking forward to trying sone more products from the range.

I purchased this after seeing the range on a trial team. My local Countdown had a special on the Garnier range so I figured it was a perfect excuse to try something new.

I love the packaging of the new Organics range - it definitely feels really natural and nature-based. I love lemongrass as a tea and love the scent so this was the perfect fit for me.

The pump dispenser is perfect for ease of use in the shower or bath, and dispenses just the right amount for a full face wash. It lathers up beautifully, leaves my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed without drying it out.

I since purchased one for my daughter and it’s definitely helped clear up her acne, so it really does detox as well.

I received this beauty in a recent Black Box. I can't say Garnier is not a fave brand for me but this one definitely surprised me a bit. The bottle is actually bigger than you would think. It is slim, tall and really does reflect the look of the organic aesthetic they are going for. It has a pump action top which is so much easier to use to distribute the product. The gel wash definitely has a gel like texture but is smooth to touch which is nice, I tend to use mine in the shower so that I remember to use it everyday. It just makes it more convenient in the shower where you can wet your face without trouble.

I use three pumps of the gel wash to make sure I can include my neck in the mix. The smell of the gel wash is absolutely amazing. I definitely get the scent of lemongrass first. The gel wash is very cooling on the skin and is so refreshing with the lemongrass scent.

I have been using it now for a month and I can definitely see a difference in my skin. Around my nose area was prone to blackheads but since using this gel wash along with a toner and moisturizer it is definitely noticeably clearer and no sign of blackheads yuuss!! Given that the bottle is so tall, it is lasting for so long. I think this will be one of those definite value for money items I am always on the lookout for. I mean who wants to spend loads of money on a small bottle...not me! I will be re-purchasing for sure.
