Garnier Pure Active 3 In 1 Cleansing Mask Review

Seeing this on BR bought me back to my high school years, when I would religiously use this and Neutrogena, and I thought it was the coolest ever because they were "expensive" brands... Cringe.

As I remember, I bought this face was because it was *gasp* 3 in 1!? It was a face wash, or a scrub, or a mask! It was actually really cool, I can't say my current face wash is nearly as cool, but it's a lot better smelling. This was kinda medicinal, kinda earthy but it wasn't really that off putting.

I usually just used this as a mask, then when it was dry I would wet it and wash it off, giving me the scrub part, as well as cleaning my face. It was a pretty good mask, too, drying within 10 minutes. My skin was left feeling super smooth, buffed and polished. As I used this daily it took a while (like, my adult years) to realize that this was the reason my face skin was so bloody dry all the time. It is definitely a once a week thing, not an every day face wash.

However, that doesn't put me off from repurchasing, as I know I did several times in my youth. However next time I do buy it, I won't be using it as a mask and scrub - just the mask and then letting the warm water wash it away will be enough exfoliation for me!

I have super duper oily skin and this is perfect for people like me. Just be sure not to use it more than once a week or this will dry out your skin. I always have to deeply moisturise my skin after using this.

Pros: A good mask/ scrub that would remove all the dead skin.

Cons: Suitable for oily skin and has a tendency to dry out the skin and make it more oilier in the end

It has 3 uses but i only really used it as a mask and scrub. I left it on to dry and would then gently scrub with water as i rinsed it off. It would leave my skin feeling fresh and clean and i used it till i finished the tube but didn't repurchase it

The 3 in one function attracted me to it. Unfortunately something in this cleansing mask irritated my skin. It’s been palmed off to my man who thinks it’s “an okay cleanser” for his oily skin.

I purchased this along with the charcoal one to do a comparison.

I love the concept of this product being used for 3 different functions. The blue colour is quite cool and makes for a fun mask. It cleanses and exfoliates well and leaves the skin feeling really really clean. I’m not overly sold on the benefits when using it as a mask, other than extra cleanliness.

Personally I have found this to be too drying on my skin, and using it anymore than once a week, strips my skin leaving it feeling really tight. It’s been great for my teen daughter, but even then she can only use it once or twice a week and has to moisturise really well afterwards.

This is my number 1 facial product, i have it used it throughout all my teens and even no into my adult hood. It is the only product that kept my acne at bay and still does. The packaging is your standard cleanser bottle with a squeeze nozzle at the end. I use this as a daily wash in the shower, ive used it as a maks a handful of times and even then it was great! This product is super affordable and i continue to purchase for all these great reasons!

I am definitely a fan of this 3 in 1 product! I have very oily skin and require a face scrub that will help to keep this under control and prevent me looking shiny, this product did just that! My skin felt baby soft after use and I could go to bed with a face feeling clean and fresh. I did not find that it helped dislodge any blackheads (hence why I gave it 4/5) but it did help to mattify my skin.

Finally a face cleanser that’s gentle on my face, is affordable and is readily available.

Love how it’s three products in one a cleaner a Scrub and a mask, saves buying three different products saving me money. The best part is how effective this product is, my skin feels softer and smoother than ever. I have experienced acne clearing up in the few days I have used this, redness less noticeable and overall my skin seems to have a healthy glow to it. So glad to have trailed this product otherwise I might not have ever found it.

This face cleanser is a white clay with little speckles of blue throughout it. It’s very easy to use and simple and clear instructions on the back to the bottle. I found the easiest way to use the cleansing mask was in the shower. This products can be used in 3 different ways which each method achieving different results. After trying each method, I preferred to use it as a scrub as I found this achieved the results I was looking for, but this took a while. Initially, my face broke out in pimples and each day it seemed to be getting worse. After day 5, things settled down and started to see improvements. My face is less shiny but I haven’t seen any difference with blackheads, especially around my nose. Maybe with more time I will be blackhead free.

•This is fantastic as a mask and face wash! Scrub?...probably not so much as it feels there are only a few exfoliating bits per one use. •It comes in a large squeeze bottle and has a tight snap clip lid. •I would say this item would fare well in the hands of an oily faced gal. It has ultimately left my face ‘ish’ dry throughout the day. Personally I like this because it appears to have held back the oil, making it easier to wear foundation and even concealer. • I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel the redness in my cheeks has calmed down a tone (still there, but definitely down a tone). This may relate to the clay content / eucalyptus / salicylic acid. •On that note...this is best to use in the shower or when you have time to meticulously rinse off at a hand basin. It is very white, and drips everywhere when water hits it. •The Eucalyptus & salicylic acid ACTUALLY does it’s thing. It cools your face and you can ‘feel’ it working. You know what I mean. If you are someone who likes the feeling of a tingly face wash, you will find this one good! •Overall, this face wash is very wholesome, does what it says but is nothing fancy. May buy again, may not depending on ingredients list.
