Garnier Pure Active Charcoal 3 In 1 Mask Review

This stuff is a must have for those people who don't like to clutter their space with multiple products because it does it all. Firstly I would like to rate the smell on this product, as it was definitely not what I was expecting. Actually I don't know what I was expecting but it was so lovely and fresh, almost slightly minty. It made me feel so awake and fresh and when it comes to face wash in the morning there is nothing better than that feeling. I particularly like the intensity of the scrub, because of the fine beads you can do just as it says, use it as a standard face wash which is gentle of really get stuck in with the scrubbing turning it into a good exfoliator. Lastly as a mask it's fantastic, I always enjoy the feeling of clay type masques as they make me feel like the oil is really pulling from my skin. Over all I was definitely by this again, for the low price point which folk out on 3 more products when 1 can not only do the job of 3 but excel at it!

I picked this up in the last vault . I have an obsession with masks and cleansers . I absolutely love them . I enjoy collecting them for different issues in relation to my skin . Which has been temperamental.

Packaging comes in this blue tube . Consistency reminds me of a gritty pastey black mushy sand . Has this Minty / cheap men’s deodorant kind of scent . It’s tolerable .

Application comes out easily . Be careful it can splayed all over the place if your in the shower . Seems to move around quite a bit with the washing off part .

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now daily use . Skin is being cleansed well before and after make up use . Price wise it’s fair . I’m not completely sold on this yet . I think I should keep using it to see how I go .

This is by far the best cleanser I've ever used, I got one in one of the best ever beauty boxes and I've been buying it ever since. Packaging is sleek, the cleanser itself is thick, black and gritty, a little goes a long way. I have oily skin and this dries it out without overdrying and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I use it daily as part of my daily skin care routine and even my husband is hooked on it :) It has a lovely smell thats not too overpowering , great price as well!

I really enjoy using this product - but it makes a mess!!

This 3-way gem works as a cleanser, scrub and mask and does all 3 really well. The product itself is a thick charcoal coloured paste, with little gritty bits through it to exfoliate. The scent is almost minty/menthol-ish and feels really refreshing on the skin.

My favourite place to use this is the bath - it makes a mess so it’s not really suitable for normal morning or evening cleansing. You only need a small amount, about the size of a 50c piece (the new one, not the old one). I remove my makeup first and then apply this - I rub it into the skin in circular motions to exfoliate, and then leave it to dry as a mask. As it dries the skin tightens and you can see the sebum spots from you pores.

Washing it off gets even more messy, but the end result is totally worth it.

I seem to be very prone to getting blackheads so i am always looking for a new solution, and this is defiantly a solution for me. It deep cleans my skin really well and leaves it feeling very smooth. I use scrubs about 3 times a week because my skin is very rough. I use this in the shower as it can be messy, but i also use all scrubs in the shower.

This is a really interesting product from Garnier, so naturally it caught my eye. It can be used as a wash, a scrub and a mask.

What particularly interested me was that it had Salicylic Acid in it, which for particularly stubborn pimples can be handy.

I tend to automatically use this as a mask, but the fact that it's multipurpose is a great advantage when you're travelling and can only pack minimal products.

It does leave the skin smooth and gives blackheads a nudge, but don't expect it to work miracles.

All in all, it's a handy multipurpose product for keeping your skin as clean and clear as you can. I tend to use it more when my skin needs attention as oppose to everyday (I prefer natural skincare for everyday use). But when I need a little extra attention for my skin, this product is great to have on hand.

i have sensitive and oily acne prone skin ,bought this for a mask ,but found its very good to be used as a daily scrub , the scrub beads are a liitle bit rough ,but it wont cause irritation to my skin , cleans pores very well and absorbs oil very well as well .spots were calmed down instantly after using this .

Great multi purpose product, easily accessible, affordable and last awhile. Feels lovely on, smells lovely, wouldn’t say it did much to my blackheads compared to a good glycolic peel or wipe but otherwise a nice inbetween treatment.

I was quite excited to try this product as I am always keen to try anything that might help with pesky black-heads. It's a face wash,face mask, and an exfoliating scrub. To be honest, I like it as a ln exfoliator, but that's probably all I would use it for. It didn't do anything at all for my blackheads, and while it's not a bad face wash, I prefer something that foams a bit more than this. In terms of price though, I would say this product is quite reasonably priced. Smells good and is easy to use, but I certainly wouldn't rush out to buy or recommend it.

i used to love, love, LOVE clay or charcoal or any sort of drying out masks. but now, my skin is dry and sensitive and cant handle the jandal.

the premise is great, face wash, mask, or scrub. although i count the wash and scrub as one so. yknow. lasted me a looong time cos i only used it once or twice a week if that, my skin couldnt handle it.

results were mixed, i thought it worked great for pimples, like as a spot mask, but at the same time i also felt like it gave me extra pimples or bumps at least, which i wasnt a fan of.

i did enjoy using it as a body scrub though, any stubborn pimples that were hanging around seemed to vanish, which was nice. and it was scrubby so i felt extra clean.
