A bit undecided on this one. No noticeable difference from my trial. Found it hard to get the right amount with a dropper, even owning it the same way each time. Fine line between not enough to cover your face and far too much. Dries very quickly but in a way that made me want to follow with moisturiser straight away, was a bit odd.

This is a really light serum it initially added moisture to my face. It has a light fragrance that I got used to over time. Just a dropper coverage was enough. Although I immediately found it moisturising by the end of the day I didn’t think my face looked as fresh as it has with other products. This could be due to the fact that it was winter and chilly and also that my mature skin needs more long lasting moisture.
This serum was somewhat hydrating but not as much as the HA serum I regularly use. I also found it had a strong scent of Aloe, it wasn’t unpleasant but I don’t like putting stuff with a strong scent on my face so that put me off!
Packaging is great, I like a dropper to apply products to my face and this one dispenses a good amount of product.
The serum feels nice and thick, it spreads well and absorbs quickly into the skin- didn't find any of my other regime products pillng or reacting which is good.
I think this is a great beginner serum, price point is fantastic and does what it says- didn't find it as hydrating as higher end serums I have used though.
It's a nice fair size bottle. Once you dispense the serum it goes quite far and goes onto your skin nicely.
This is quite a thick sticky serum but I’ve been told any good hyaluronic acid product should be a bit sticky.
The scent is fresh and isn’t too strong like some Garnier products and fades away quite quickly.
Immediately on application my skin did look hydrated and fine lines less visible but I didn’t notice any permanent improvement to my skin.
I was looking forward to trying this product from the range the most, as serums are a great complement to superboost your regime. It glided smoothly on, spreads easily and felt nice and cool on my skin. The only downsides to it is that 1) your skin is left feeling tacky. (However the moisturiser on top cancels that out) And 2) my skin purged for weeks. I cannot be sure if it was this product or the combination in the range as i didn’t use it on its own, or if it was simply a result of changing all my skincare products to try this range. I gave it 3 weeks before i had to stop as the breakouts did not stop. Aside from this, every morning my skin would look nice and refreshed, hydrated. On a side note, I like how when you close the lid it clicks into place, so it is secure. A final observation: because you have to use a full dropper per application and it is the smallest bottle in the range, i can see you would have to replace it faster than the other products. Definitely a product i would have embraced in my youth! Having said that, i would not be against using it again, but on its own to see if it was responsible or not for my breakouts
It’s amazing how Garnier can put a whole lot of ingredients into a bottle and still have it come out clear! I enjoyed using this serum morning and night. It feels light enough in the day not to worry about too much heavy product on my skin as I’m prone to a bit of shine. I did find it pretty hard though to squeeze a whole pump out like the instructions say as it’s quite a thick texture and I had to squeeze a couple of times to get enough. My skin does like this serum and after I apply I can feel my skin is just bouncy and elastic and all the other products I apply afterwards just glide on. For me using a serum am & pm has really helped get rid of my dry patches on my cheeks.
A serum that promises to hydrate skin up to 10 layers deep, yes please! This serum by Garnier also will make your skin feel softer, skin feels suppler, skin feels strengthened as well as bouncier, more glowy.
I really liked the dropper bottle design as it made it simple to get the correct quantity of serum. In saying this I did find that using one syringe of serum was a little too much for me so I reduced this amount to between half and three-quarters. Reducing the quantity of serum used meant that the product would absorb in quicker, perfect for mornings in a hurry.
My skin did feel softer and more supple after using this product. I would recommend Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Replumping Serum to anyone who is looking for a very hydrating serum.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
Not a fan of this product at all. Its slimy, jelly consistency felt slimy on application. It did dry/soak in fairly quickly so it did at least have that going for it. The scent of this is terrible. Super astringent, making you feel like you’re smearing acid straight on your face. It was the worst of this range for the overpowering smell. Whilst the bottle seems like a decent size, you do need a decent amount each use, I think this is due to its jelly texture. After 4 weeks, I did not see any noticeable change in my appearance, nor did I feel anymore hydrated from my previous serum. For the price point, I feel there are better serums available.
