Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream

I loved this eye cream, the applicator on the tube makes it so easy to apply so you use the correct amount and don't over ply , the fragrance is not too overpowering. I noticed a difference after a couple of weeks, it really helped with the fine lines under my eyes and dark circles.

Garnier products are always reasonably priced and great you can get them at the Supermarket.

I was a little hesitant to try this eye cream. Whenever I see 'brightening' I automatically go through the ingredients list. It contains Mica, which as a daily contact lens wearer immediately puts me off. But, I needn't have worried. The amount of Mica in the formula is so minimal I had no irritation. Conveniently I was battling a headcold when I first tried this eye cream and WOW what a difference it made to how my under eyes looked. So much brighter! I really just loved the yellow cream, so fun, but obviously the vitamin c had something to do with the colour. The eye cream comes in a handy little tube (no double dipping in a pot!) and the perfect size to pop in your makeup bag. After moisturising, I used less than a pea sized amount and pressed my index fingers together (to evenly disperse) and then applied around my under eye area. I'm not quite coordinated enough to do the tappytap but found lightly pressing around the area worked just a well. I didn't notice any improvements to my fine lines, but there was a definite brightness around my eye area. Which if you're feeling run down or just had a few too many late nights, it's worth giving it try!

As a preface: I have post-partum, combination skin with occasional breakouts, fine lines and hyperpigmentation. I have been using Ethique's range to reduce plastic consumption and to avoid sulfates as much as I can.

I love the idea of this in theory; anything to help hide my tired mum eye bags! I just felt like it did exactly nothing - even asking my partner to see if he had noticed anything different about my eye bags immediately after applying it after 2 weeks and, well, nothing.

Can confirm it's not scented.

I have used the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream for a few weeks and I have seen little reduction of the signs of fatigue around my eyes.

The tube makes it easy to apply dots of the cream around the eyes. The cream is thick. Half the size of the tip of the pen per dot is necessary to be able to blend the cream while massaging. The cream leaves my skin with a yellow / orange colour around my eyes and therefore a concealer is needed. A transparent cream would suit me better.

The cream is fragrance free. Both the tube and packaging are recyclable.

As a person who uses little make-up, this cream doesn't suit my needs.

I loved using this eye cream - I think the addition of banana powder is genius to combat the dark tones of under eyes. It felt really yummy and moisturising, and definitely lessened the look of my darker undereye spots.

Did it 'get rid of' my dark circles as it says on the box? Absolutely not, but I've never met an eye cream that can, so I would take that with a grain of salt.

I don't think it lives up to all it's claims on the box, but I loved the texture, the colour, the smell, and the price tag; so I would definitely repurchase.

I was really keen to try this, as I've had wonderful results with Vitamin C products on my skin before and I've never used a banana based product before. I was quite surprised by the thick consistency of this eye cream and the bright yellow colour.

The yellow eye cream doesn't leave skin looking yellow, which is great, and as I only use eye cream at night, I didn't test it under make-up. I applied this eye cream before climbing into bed and then did my usual half hour to hour-long read before falling asleep. One thing I did find is that the eye cream made my skin feel rather sticky where it'd applied it. It's not bad, since I'd be sleeping with it on, but it's not a feeling I'd want to have during the day.

I suffer with allergic rhinitis all year round, so I tend to have dark circles under my eyes from my allergies, and I am impressed with this eye cream. Not only did it moisturise and leave my skin looking and feeling smooth, it's definitely improved and reduced the appearance of my under eye circles.

I would recommend this and will be using more of it, I'm just not a fan of the sticky feeling.

This under eye cream is a mustardy yellow colour, which I guess gives a slight colour correcting type of effect. It has some shimmer in it, but your under eye area doesn’t end up looking all shimmery. I found that this did give a brightening effect (nothing drastic but still brighter). I used this morning and night (in place of my normal eye cream), and I feel like I have noticed a difference is the appearance of my fine lines. It works beautifully under concealer, so I’m definitely going to keep using this product. Most likely only on days I wear make up or when I feel like I need an extra brightening boost.

After trialing this product for a few weeks i felt it was a nice hydrating eye cream, i used this between cleansing and applying the gel moisturizer. It has a small yellow tint that gives the appearance of bright refreshed eyes. I used this mainly on my no makeup days or before bed. But i did try it a few times under makeup and my makeup went on perfectly over top with no creasing or rubbing off.

The box it arrived in was brightly colored very appealing to the eye. The tube inside was also great to look at but quite small & slim, I was expecting a bigger tube considering size of box!

The tube had a screw lid with a soft rubbery application tip which I thought was really cool and was flexible & great for application.

A couple of times I applied too much product but overall it was easy to dispense and soaked in quickly which was great and didn't leave a greasy finish. It sat wonderfully under my makeup.

I only applied under my eyes as it seemed to irritate the top part of my brow bone area.

The product was a thickesh bright orange cream and smelt good. I just applied 3 dots under each eye and patted it in. It easily absorbed.

I'm not sure if I will continue with this as I haven't noticed a huge difference. I don't have alot of wrinkles around my eyes anyway for my age, as I constantly live in sunglasses when I'm outside so I've always protected my eyes!

I think I need a bit longer using this product to make a final decision though.

I've checked out pricing and feel its expensive for what it is. If I continue I would buy it on "special"

Love the fact that this is fragrance free and that I am able to use this under my make up. Gradually brightened under eye area.
