I was expecting a lot of this one, but was disappointed. I found the it hydrated well, but I never noticed any brightening. It did make the under feel fresh. I noticed that it made my concealer clump and roll. It didn't do anything for my under eye puffiness. I have sensitive skin and I didn't have any problems with that.

Tips: Don't get it in your eye, as it really hurts. I found it easier to use my finger than the applicator.
This eye cream feels nice it applies creamy with a yellow tone to it. It sits well under makeup and the applicator is really nice to apply a good amount of product. I unfortunately didn’t see much difference in my dark circles or fine lines, although it might with extended use
This moisturised and brightened my under eyes and showed no irritation at all. I like the applicator, this allowed for a smooth application of the cream.
Tips: Don’t bother using under make up as it cakes, better to be used at night.
The eye cream came in a sleek tube which was easily chucked into a handbag for use on the go.
It had an applicatior which was functional, the cream itself had a yellow tinge which meant you needed to ensure you gently worked it into the undereye area.
This was not one of those eye creams which cause your bags to tense up, pack up and get it together , rather a gentle wake up to help you look like you has a few more hours sleep then you really did
I trailed the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream for a few weeks. The cream comes out orange so you need to make sure it is rubbed in properly. The tube is a good size and easy to use, the tip on the end makes application easy. It stopped the pufflyness around the eyes but couldnt see a huge difference with lines. But will keep using this product to see how it works long term.
Tips: Use the applicater on the tube it works quite well
Honestly not really. Did I like the smell and texture of the product yes but unfortunately for me and my skin it didn't make much of a difference. This is one I won't be adding into my daily routine.
My favourite part was the application and the top of the cream. Loved this feature and hope to see it on more products as it made using it simple.
When I received this product to trial I was very excited, as I've had great experiences with Garnier eye products before.
However, this one had me confused. Was it eye cream? Or was it makeup?
Claims on the box like 'in one week get brighter, well-rested eyes' suggested it was eye cream (plus the fact they called it eye cream!). But lines like 'reduce signs of fatigue... including appearance of dark circles', 'brightening pigments' and the yellow colour made me think it was makeup. The instructions told you how to apply it to the eye area, but not when, so I dithered for a while before deciding it was an anytime thing.
In terms of using it, it was easy to apply and didn't show up yellow on my skin. It made a small difference to the look of my under eye area - not to the extent of looking like makeup, but enough to make me look less tired. It also felt nice and cooling on my skin.
I like the packaging. It's easy to open the screw cap and the slanted top makes it easy to get the correct amount on your finger. There is something very attractive about the long, slim packaging - even if it does tend to fall over on the shelf!
At this stage I'm still dubious about this not-quite-makeup eye cream, but as I try to reduce my amount of daily makeup for the sake of my skin, this might turn out to be exactly what I need...
Tips: Like most eye cream, a little goes a long way.
I found this eye cream was fairly good. It certainly moisturised my eye area but I didn't really notice much of a difference in the appearance of my dark circles or fine lines. Perhaps mine are a bit too far gone! I might need to use it for a longer period to see greater results. Nevertheless, I enjoyed using the cream to nurture the delicate skin around my eyes. The formula is thick and creamy and comes out easily from the tube. There is a decent amount in the tube which I think is good value, and I like the fact you don't have to use your fingers to dip into a pot.
Tips: Don't put too much on - you'll end up with a collection in the corner of your eyes.
As a preface: I have post-partum, combination skin with occasional breakouts, fine lines and hyperpigmentation. I have been using Ethique's range to reduce plastic consumption and to avoid sulfates as much as I can.
I love the idea of this in theory; anything to help hide my tired mum eye bags! I just felt like it did exactly nothing - even asking my partner to see if he had noticed anything different about my eye bags immediately after applying it after 2 weeks and, well, nothing.
Can confirm it's not scented.
Tips: Pop it in the fridge for a cooling experience.
I have used the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream for a few weeks and I have seen little reduction of the signs of fatigue around my eyes.
The tube makes it easy to apply dots of the cream around the eyes. The cream is thick. Half the size of the tip of the pen per dot is necessary to be able to blend the cream while massaging. The cream leaves my skin with a yellow / orange colour around my eyes and therefore a concealer is needed. A transparent cream would suit me better.
The cream is fragrance free. Both the tube and packaging are recyclable.
As a person who uses little make-up, this cream doesn't suit my needs.
Tips: Apply enough cream to be able to blend it while massaging.
