Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream

After trialing this product for a few weeks i felt it was a nice hydrating eye cream, i used this between cleansing and applying the gel moisturizer. It has a small yellow tint that gives the appearance of bright refreshed eyes. I used this mainly on my no makeup days or before bed. But i did try it a few times under makeup and my makeup went on perfectly over top with no creasing or rubbing off.

Love the tube – hygienic, product-protecting, easy to use – and love the rich, creamy texture of the product and the neutral sweet-cream fragrance. Just beautiful. I also like the dark-banana colour of the cream, as it’s easy to see where I need to keep patting to absorb it all.

Once applied, although it melts into the skin, it still feels like it’s softly there, moisturising and nourishing, for the rest of the day. After a month of daily use, I’m not convinced that it’s improved my eye area significantly in terms of wrinkles, bags, etc., but it’s a really nice, affordable, moisturising, nourishing eye cream that’s got great hydrating, collagen-boosting ingredients proven to be effective for skin. Also, so many eye products make my eyes sting or go puffy, and I haven’t had those problems with this one, so I’ll probably be buying it again. Plus, one tube will last me more than 4 months I reckon, as a small blob is all I need for good coverage, so it’s well worth it.

I didn’t know what to expect from this but was pleasantly surprised! It is super hydrating and creamy, doesn’t absorb so quickly. It’s bright yellow colour and a I like the applicator. Totally would purchase this product and use again.

After 3 weeks, my eye bags officially packed themselves and went elsewhere, including that raccoon look...which I attribute to being a toddler Mum. Super easy application, no need to use your fingers, hygienic! It glides on smoothly, absorbs quickly and dries without residue. I love the bright orange colour! My eye area feels firmer and looks brighter, I will definitely keep this product in my beauty draw!

As this cream as a yellow colour I found that it looked quite yellowy after application and for sime reason made my dark circles more accentuated,. Purely for this reason I will probably not buy agaun but it did leave the eye area feeling and looking hydrated. Also worked well under foundation and concealer as it absorbes well

I loved this eye cream, the applicator on the tube makes it so easy to apply so you use the correct amount and don't over ply , the fragrance is not too overpowering. I noticed a difference after a couple of weeks, it really helped with the fine lines under my eyes and dark circles.

Garnier products are always reasonably priced and great you can get them at the Supermarket.

I have never used an eye cream that is actually yellow, so this was a first for me. I found it to be a solid eye cream, it hasnt made me want to stray from my usual product, but i did enjoy using it.

The reduction in the appearance of dark circles was almost immediate, but i assume this is due to the colour of the eye cream, this of course helped with dullness too. It could have been more hydrating, but perhaps i am used to a very hydrating eye cream. I have found my undereyes feel smooth, and soft. My concealer goes on nicely, no getting caught on dry or dead skin. I didnt notice any changes in fine lines.

I liked the packaging - it was simple, and clean. I did like not getting eye cream under my nails when I dig into the wee pot of cream.

I will finish it up, but probably go back to my old faithful.

As with most Garnier products, the packaging wasn't anything special - a good box to stop it getting squished and a tube. It was slightly alarming when I gave it a squeeze to see the colour of the product - a kind of orangey-yellow. Not horrible, just not expected! It doesn't really have a smell and is a nice fine cream consistency (not too think, but not so thin that it runs everywhere), and it rubs in easily - well without needing to be rubbed in. It doesn't have any sticky residue/after feel which is nice. Has it reduced my bags and dark circles? Maybe a bit, but they were pretty bad to start with so it always faced uam up hill battle. But the best thing is it doesn't sting your eyes, not even a little bit. And on that basis alone (seeing its about the only one that doesn't sting my eyes) I'll keep using it.

I was a little hesitant to try this eye cream. Whenever I see 'brightening' I automatically go through the ingredients list. It contains Mica, which as a daily contact lens wearer immediately puts me off. But, I needn't have worried. The amount of Mica in the formula is so minimal I had no irritation. Conveniently I was battling a headcold when I first tried this eye cream and WOW what a difference it made to how my under eyes looked. So much brighter! I really just loved the yellow cream, so fun, but obviously the vitamin c had something to do with the colour. The eye cream comes in a handy little tube (no double dipping in a pot!) and the perfect size to pop in your makeup bag. After moisturising, I used less than a pea sized amount and pressed my index fingers together (to evenly disperse) and then applied around my under eye area. I'm not quite coordinated enough to do the tappytap but found lightly pressing around the area worked just a well. I didn't notice any improvements to my fine lines, but there was a definite brightness around my eye area. Which if you're feeling run down or just had a few too many late nights, it's worth giving it try!
