Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream

This tube of eye cream claims to revive the look of tired eyes, improve the look of under eye dark circles and brighten skin around the eyes. Dispensed from quite a long tube, the vivid yellow colour is a bit surprising, but doesn't stay yellow once applied. It does seem to give the skin around my eyes a bit of a lift and makes my wrinkles a bit more plumped out. I really like what Garnier is doing with skincare. I love this eye cream, it's magic, it makes me look so much more awake. The colour correction it gives my under eyes is amazing, so bright and healthy looking. Easy to apply, melts nicely into skin. Light weight product, gentle around the eyes. Squeezey Tube Packaging is great, no product contamination like when in a pottle. Feels nice and hydrating on the skin and I do feel my fine lines aren't as prominent as before using this eye cream. Sits well under make up. A new favorite would definitely recommend.

I felt this had a positive impact on my eye area, which looks more refined, clearer and brighter. The caffiene definitely has an instant hit, making you feel more awake! It does seem to de-puff too, it's great for those heavy mornings when you really don't have time but to slap on a bit of skin care and go!

This eye cream comes in a handy 15ml tube with a screw cap and applicator tip. A pea sized amount will do for each eye, the cream is a golden yellow colour which sinks into skin almost immediately with a little massaging. Containing Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Caffeine and Banana Powder, nice natural ingredients. Very gentle on my eyes, no stinging or itching. Dark circles are lighter, and fine lines seem softer. Would recommend this eye cream.

This has to be my favourite in the Garnier Vitamin C range. I have been under a lot of stress, some nights with 5hrs of broken sleep so lots of bags under my eyes. The eye cream really did help! It did take away the puffiness, it’s not a miracle worker so I still have fine lines. I really enjoyed the high amount of Vitamin C in this product. I did need to make sure I rubbed it all in, otherwise an orange residue will remain. When I first used it I applied the eye cream straight on my skin with the slanted applicator but this seemed to put out too much cream. I preferred to use my finger tips to apply it.

Love, love this product! Oh, to find an eye cream that actually reduces black circles AND bags! Hallejula! This cream comes in a tube with a rubber applicator on the end which makes dispensing tiny dots around the eye a breeze! The cream is a lovely consistency which is easy to pat and spread around the eye area. It soaks into the skin very quickly leaving the area smoother and hydrated. After using this eye cream morning and night for 3 weeks, my dark circles and under eye bags have improved significantly! Best eye cream I have ever used!

I had big hopes that this product would make a noticeable difference under my eyes but I didn’t notice much of a change unfortunately. I’ll continue using it and see how it goes. The yellow tone of the cream felt like it neutralised my dark circles which was a positive!

As with most Garnier products, the packaging wasn't anything special - a good box to stop it getting squished and a tube. It was slightly alarming when I gave it a squeeze to see the colour of the product - a kind of orangey-yellow. Not horrible, just not expected! It doesn't really have a smell and is a nice fine cream consistency (not too think, but not so thin that it runs everywhere), and it rubs in easily - well without needing to be rubbed in. It doesn't have any sticky residue/after feel which is nice. Has it reduced my bags and dark circles? Maybe a bit, but they were pretty bad to start with so it always faced uam up hill battle. But the best thing is it doesn't sting your eyes, not even a little bit. And on that basis alone (seeing its about the only one that doesn't sting my eyes) I'll keep using it.

I was a little hesitant to try this eye cream. Whenever I see 'brightening' I automatically go through the ingredients list. It contains Mica, which as a daily contact lens wearer immediately puts me off. But, I needn't have worried. The amount of Mica in the formula is so minimal I had no irritation. Conveniently I was battling a headcold when I first tried this eye cream and WOW what a difference it made to how my under eyes looked. So much brighter! I really just loved the yellow cream, so fun, but obviously the vitamin c had something to do with the colour. The eye cream comes in a handy little tube (no double dipping in a pot!) and the perfect size to pop in your makeup bag. After moisturising, I used less than a pea sized amount and pressed my index fingers together (to evenly disperse) and then applied around my under eye area. I'm not quite coordinated enough to do the tappytap but found lightly pressing around the area worked just a well. I didn't notice any improvements to my fine lines, but there was a definite brightness around my eye area. Which if you're feeling run down or just had a few too many late nights, it's worth giving it try!
