I really like this face wash. After using, my face felt and looked clean and fresh. It still felt hydrated, no dry tight feeling like some cleansers can leave my skin feeling. It did leave me with a healthy looking glow like it claims. Easy to use product, a little goes a long way so only a small pump is needed. No strong scent, gentle on the skin and around eye area. Would definitely recommend this product .

If you’re looking for a budget friendly product that delivers good cleansing, gets rid of your dullness and oiliness, and provides refreshed skin without leaving the skin feeling tight, then Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C clarifying face wash is a fine choice.
Tips: Use in combination with the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Jelly Daily Moisturising Cream for added brightening effect!
Garnier's robust plastic pump bottle is practical and hygienic, and it’s easy to dispense a very small amount – which is great, because that’s all you need. Less than half a pea size lathers up in your palm and does face, neck and decolletage. It feels very creamy and rich, and has a light, refreshing, citrus fragrance.
The product definitely cleans off makeup effectively – as well as my rather thick zinc-based daily sunblock. My skin can be sensitive, but there’s no stinging or irritation. However, my skin’s also very dry, and while the wash doesn’t strip it, it certainly doesn’t moisturise it either, so my face feels tight after cleansing. I follow it immediately with some of my Thayer’s moisturising toner though (and then my usual truckloads of moisturising cream!), and it’s not a problem.
I used the Clarifying Wash every day for a month (in conjunction with the Garnier Vit C Jelly), and I think my skin looks a bit less tired and drawn, and – the big thing – I’m sure my hyperpigmentation has faded a bit, particularly the main cent-sized blob of light brown that I’ve had on my cheek for maybe 15 years. Pretty amazing.
I’ll be sticking with this cleanser for a good long time in the hopes that it continues to even out my skin tone. It’s really affordable, effective, and is going to last ages, so well worth it, imo.
Tips: Do start with the smallest amount of product you can, and increase if necessary. I was surprised by how much it lathers up.
I use the cleanser in the shower, it lathers really well. I like the pump style container which makes it easy to use and the top twists to lock to avoid any leakage. The cleanser has a nice mild fragrance and is gentle enough to not cause my skin any dryness or irritation.
Tips: A little goes a long way as it lathers so well.
This face wash comes in a handy pump bottle, one half pump does face, neck and decolletage. So will last quite a long time. It is a clear gel that foams up easily when mixed with water and has a lovely light floral scent. This cleanser removes makeup and mascara leaving my skin feeling smooth, clean and fresh. I haven't seen an improvement of my dull, uneven skin tone yet, but will continue to use as it's a lovely cleanser for removing the day's dirt and grime. Definitely recommend.
Tips: Handy to use in the shower with the pump bottle!
I have mixed views on this product. I liked how it felt on my skin, it didn't feel too drying, or leave a strange film. But, it stung my eyes, had a very strong scent and did require two washes to get my make up off. Now I take the point this is not marketed as a cleanser specifically to remove your make up, but I am pretty simple with my skincare, and like to use the same cleanser morning and night.
I didn't notice a boost in glow to my skin after using this, perhaps after I put the moisturiser on, but I'm not sure if that was just because my skin had a sheen to it.
I will continue using it up, but I wouldn't repurchase.
It worked fine, but it just was not a stand out product to me.
Tips: One day I was lazy and didn't get my beauty blender cleaning soap out from under the sink, and I used this instead. Well, what an awesome surprise, it worked great at taking the foundation out of my beauty blender!
Upon first glance the packaging for this was lackluster but functional for a permanent spot in the bathroom.
I found the cleanser to be a bit too oily for my liking and while it held a pleasant scent, it didn't quite feel like it had all washed off leaving a residue feel to my skin.
Sorry this one was not for my over 40, combination skin
I used the Garnier Skin Active Vitamin C Clarifying Wash for a few weeks. My skin did feel clean after i used it..My skin did feel nice but it didnt have the brighting and glow effect that it adveritised. The bottle did go far, after having uses it every day for a few weeks i still have at least 60% of the bottle left.
Tips: You only need a little bit as it goes quite far.
This cleanser is exactly what I’m looking for when I wash my face. It’s light and refreshing and left my skin feeling clean and plump. I liked the texture and I’ve been using it daily in the shower. It lathers up nicely.
Loved this wash. It left my skin feeling clean, smooth and soft. I used it with a face cloth and it didn't lather up too much. Which was good. It washed out of the cloth easily. It had a pleasant smell that wasn't overpowering. It cleaned around the eyes well and didn't make them sting. I didn't notice any skin brightening, but would still buy because of everything above.
Tips: I found one pump was too much product, so only used half a pump each clean.
