I was lucky enough to receive this as part of the trial team. I'm normally a mud-mask type of person as tissue masks have never really been my 'go-to'.
I tried this out yesterday and was quite surprised how nice it was, the tissue mask had a neutral smell to it, it was black which was cool and had plenty of "goop" to move down my neck while I was waiting for it to do its thing!
Directly after, my skin felt clean and hydrated, and a full 24 hours afterwards my skin still feels hydrated and quite smooth—I also have a spot of psoriasis in the middle of my forehead, and I've noticed that has helped it in such a small amount of time, which is exciting!
I can confidently say that I would be interested in purchasing this product again, I am still very much attached to my mud masks and how they pull everything out, however, I feel this would compliment it nicely to bring back some hydration to my skin.
I’ve used a tissue mask once before so I kinda knew what to expect but it was still a little weird to start with. So I start with opening the package - which I really liked. Super easy to open, so you’re not sitting there for half an hour trying to tear it open with your teeth. And the colours of the packaging are nice too.
So it’s open and I unfold the slimy mask, trying to figure out the right holes to put my nose and mouth through. It’s chilly and weird to start with but it feels nice, and I think I can feel it working. I take it off, wash off the residue and my skin feels super smooth. It looked nice and fresh and glowing this morning too, will definitely try again
Tips: Don’t try to talk, sing, eat or anything else while it’s on. Sit back and relax with your eyes closed. Next time I’ll do it when I have a bath.
