First of all i was drawn to the beautiful packaging of Goodness Products, the bright colours plus all natural / vegan ingredients is a big draw card. This does mean though their products can have quite a strong scent which i wouldn't recommend for overly sensitive skin. This toner spray is very refreshing on hot days, after cleansing and to help wake you up in the morning. It doesn't sting nor irritate the skin. I haven't seen any actual benefits to the skin but i'll continue using it just for the freshness factor

I love this product so much! I like using it to refresh my skin, or over moisturizer to help it soak in faster. I also love how it is natural.
I had been using the spray toner by Evolu after a trip overseas and then when I got home I decided to give this Goodness Be Cool Mist Toner a try as it is much cheaper. It doesn't have the witch hazel in it which I love about the Evolu as my skin feels taut afterwards but it is very fresh feeling and my skin looks fresher afterwards. It also does as it says and sets makeup and also I've found it great for refreshing my make-up during the day. With sensitive skin I have had no issues with this product and my 10 year old daughter is pinching it now too! Haha! It's lovely on a hot day to cool off and I sneakily may have even used it as a foot spray...shhhh!
Tips: Just use it anytime, anywhere, you'll love it!
I want to say this is a fantastic product for my skin but unfortunately much like the cream cleanser, I got the burn and because I had just sprayed it I had to wait till it was dried and stopped hurting. Unfortunately it was an on/off burn, somedays fine others felt of needles going into my skin. And it didn't matter on the cleanser either. The mist is not super fine but for the price it was what I was expecting. It also had a similar smell to the cleanser as well, herby. It did seem to tone ok on my skin when it wasn't doing the burn.
The clear spray bottle with label makes application a breeze, and you can tell how much is in there at a glance. The liquid is also clear. The label is a mint colour with the ingredient list on it. It nicely matches the other items in the range.
I was hoping for an option on the trilogy face mist but this isn't it for me. Sorry Goodness this one will be staying on the shelf
Tips: Pop it in the fridge on the hot days for extra cool off.
I picked this up from Farmers for $14.99 and was annoyed to find that the product was leaking in my bag so just make sure the top is tight before throwing it into your bag (though neither myself or the saleswoman handled that part of the bottle).
I was surprised to find that this doesn’t come in a box – every single facial spray I have bought is always packaged in a box. There are no instructions on the recommended distance to spritz the face, just recommendations of when to use it, which is, whenever you feel like it.
I really like the faint pastel mint green of the bottle because it stands out in my collection and serves as a good reminder to use it. The nozzle is one part of the packaging that I hate. I don’t get a consistent fine mist but rather a concentrated burst of droplets (with some mist for extra measure) that leaves my skin saturated.
I have tried spritzing this an arm’s length away and would inch closer every time to try and find the best distance. Unfortunately I find that my décolletage, clothes and the carpet get more of the mist than my face. I feel that it has a wide spray so that there is no mist coming out in the center.
When spritzed closer to my face, it leaves me with a WET face. If I hold the pump only half way down it comes out in short bursts of droplets but the good thing is that it doesn’t dry that way, it just disappears without leaving any outlines.
I use facial sprays mainly to set my face and to spray my brushes / beauty sponges prior to applying my makeup. When I spray my makeup brushes with this product, it’s really disappointing to find that the product runs down the ferrule and handle.
The product has a faint lavender / leafy scent which kind of dries down to a diluted faint alcohol smell (despite being alchohol-free). I have tried this as a toner and it leaves my skin feeling like skin (not tight or dry). I’ve used this to set my makeup as well as to revive it and I was not happy – it’s just too much. My makeup did come back to life but it also looked like it was going to drip off of my face too! It dries down soon enough and I feel like it does a good enough job at setting the makeup but for an oily skinned person like myself I need something with oil control.
I think if you can be bothered to switch this into a different bottle with a better nozzle then this would be quite the gem. For me, I would only repurchase this to use to spritz my face on a hot day but other than that I’ll be giving this a miss next time.
Tips: I highly recommend that you first spritz this on your arm or (makeup-free) face to get an indication of the best distance before spritzing over your makeup.
Ensure to cover up your lovely tops that you don't want wet before spritzing your face particularly if you're about to rush out the door. It will dry soon enough.
The first thing I noticed when this beautiful little gem arrived was the no fuss packaging. I liked that it was in a clear bottle and I liked the little label. It instantly screamed FRESH to me. Having not been a huge fan of spray on toners in the past I was pleasantly greeted with the light mist application that didn't feel like someone had just sprayed my face with a spray bottle like a bad kitten. The smell is divine. Its fresh, light and everything that the product promotes of itself. All the botanical goodness leaps from the bottle to provide an instant calming affect for both the skin and senses. The mist absorbs quickly and doesn't look too "dewy" on the skin. I tried this several times through the day, in the morning after I get out of the shower, quick pick me up at lunch - over the top of makeup and as a base in the evening before I go to bed. I even tried this on a Sunday with no other product and loved it. I think in the Summer time this is going to be a must have in the hand bag but found it just as soothing on my poor dry skin now - I even noticed a difference in my lips. I work in an air-con blasted office so this time of year that extra moisture was a godsend.
Tips: I like this best just before bed. The botanical scent really calms my mind and helps to promote restful sleep.
Love this mist! I keep a bottle of it on my desk at work to spritz on my face as a refreshing spray - it's especially useful if I've been rushing or am hot from walking up the hill. It's nice and cooling.
The spray has a very light, natural scent - not strongly herbal like some natural products, more like cucumber and coconut water.
It absorbs comfortably and doesn't leave a residue on the skin. I wouldn't consider it hydrating on its own - you'd definitely need to follow it with a moisturiser. For that reason alone I couldn't give it 5/5 stars for 'doing what it says it would' - you just have to remember it's a toner, not a hydrating mist like all the trendy face sprays out there at the moment.
Tips: Keep it in the fridge for a truly refreshing experience!
The bottle is plastic so it is not going to break if dropped. The sticker on it matches the spray dispenser. Reminds me of blue-green birds egg shells. "natural beauty lab" I am not sure that these two words mesh well together as they both sort of the opposite to each other. What is in it and how is it good for you: Chia seed extract is a natural anti-oxidant and will extend the shelf life of the product. It is also a plentyful source of omega-3 fatty acid this is good because it aides the skin in keeping smooth by locking in moisture and skin elasticity so it helps reduce the signs of aging in terms of fine lines and wrinkles. There is celery stem extract in this and celery is very healthy it may help keep oily skin at bay if used on the face at the same time the vegetable has vitamin E to moisturize, C to brighten as well as anti-oxidants that prevent damage from free radicals the other thing is that celery contains natural anti-fungal properties. You may wish to do some more research as some of these may only be helpful if you are eating the vegetable rather than using on the skin. Cucumber extract hydrates, is cooling possibly provides relief from puffy/red skin it also has absorbic and fatty acids, proteins and anti-oxidants. It is also an anti-inflammatory and astringent so helps control oily skin, assist to improve acne and large pores too yet the cucumber is also hydrating like aloe vera which is also in this product. I am sure most of you would have heard how good coconut oil is for you well this product has coconut water in it not only does it hydrate but it also has anti-bacterial and ant-fungal properties. vitamin C, potassium, calcium and magnesium. So this is good news the product is packed full of vitamins minerals anti-oxidants to name a new. Sounds a bit like a dietary suppliment or multivitamin? that is because alot of people do eat and drink alot of what this product is composed of!
My personal experience: I sprayed this on and love the cooling feeling and refreshing citrus cucumber scent this has. After a hot shower one night my face was quite red and spraying this helped tone the redness down. I do find that this was ever so slightly hydrating to my skin and did not leave an icky residue on it. I am all for do it all multitasking products but some times they seem too good to be true. With this I find it is good in the sense that you are getting the benifts of several skin care products. A toner moisturizer anti-aging product and oily controlling product. I would not replace this with my moisturizer/night cream though because it does not provide me with enough. You get 140ml in the bottle so it can be argued that it is quite good value. In the description above I feel the focus is on hydration but my skin does not feel very hydrated nor dry after using it. On the back it is also described as being a setting spray for make-up which I'm not sold on but that is because I have not tried a variety of setting sprays to compare.
I was really please do be included in this trial. the toner comes in a nice sized pump bottle with clear liquid inside and lovely aqua top with a clear cap so you can carry without spills. The goodness label matches the cap which is a nice finish. I absolutely love this product. I start off my day with a spray all over my face and I can sense the cucumber tinge as the spray hits my face and the scent is a lovely delicate sweet smell. My skin feels very slightly sticky to the touch initially but that soon disappears and I find my spirits feel really up lifted every time I use this spray. When I have finished gardening I give myself a spray and feel so refreshed and it I am working at the computer for a long period I refresh with a spray and feel so much better. This is becoming my drug as I love it and the well being I feel plus my skin feels soft and toned and fresh. The price of $15 for 140ml is reasonable as the spray disperses a little which goes a long way . This product is a must buy and awesome little present for a friend.
Tips: Use when you are feeling a little down or tired as is a great little pick me up
I picked this up on a whim whilst shopping - and I'm so glad I did.
The packaging is in line with the Goodness range, and I really like the pastel mint colour of the label and pump.
It spritzes easily and with a fair amount of force - so it pays to spray a wee back from your face. The scent is so botanical. Very fresh, very clean. And it does a magnificent job of hydrating and refreshing my skin throughout the day on a hot and sticky day - which is when I tend to use it.
Will definitely be popping this into the grocery cart again.
