Comes in a screw top tin. Melts instantly on hands and face making it easy use (no clumpy bits). Removes everything amazingly well except mascara. I was a bit disappointed with how little it actually worked on my eyes.

Tips: Great for removing kids face paint with no tears!
I received this in the staff picks BBBE and I instantly fell in love! I find that the make up wipes I have been using just aren't cutting it, esp around my eyes. I was skeptical to try this, how good could it be? Well, it's amazing! A tiny bit goes a long way too! It feels amazing on my skin, takes the make up off in just a couple of gentle wipes and is then easily washed off with warm water. It smells so good too, kind of like nature which makes me feel good about putting it on my skin!
I really liked this product. Super easy to use, just take a small pea sized bit of the balm, warm it up in your fingers and massage all over the face. Just be careful not to use too much pressure when taking out the balm otherwise your finger with go straight through it! I wear reasonably light make up and this balm got my make up off like a dream, it even got off my mascara. One thing I did find is that it doesn't wash off without a cleanser or a warm flannel. However the oils also help make the skin feel nice and hydrated, a bonus for dry skin like me! I really enjoyed using this product and have already recommended it to friends. Will continue to use and see how it gets off heavier make up.
A big thanks to Beauty Review as I won this product in a Facebook competition of theirs.
Tips: A little goes a long way and best removed with a warm flannel
I was lucky enough to win this makeup remover balm in an IG competition! I had alead had full intentions of buying this product before I won after seeing it in action in a live video.
The balm is quite soft and easy enough to remove from the tin packaging. It's yellow aND smells like a 'unscented' candle. A wee bit on my finger tips I apply it to all over my face by massaging it in. 1 thing I find about this product it is really tricky to get off the face, I suggest using a face cloth to help remove it.
It's so simple, yet so effective. I have found it won't remove my mascara which was a little bit of a let down. After cleaning off the balm with a face cloth I think it's important to cleanse your face to fully remove the waxy feel from your face and to make sure your face gets a proper clean.
As far as wether this product works or not it definitely does! It doesn't remove hard stubborn makeup but it removes 99.9% of it and for me that's a win!
I really love this product, and I will remember purchase once I have run out.
Tips: Use a face cloth to remove the remaining product from your face.
I have recently jumped on the oil/balm make up remover wagon and this was a definite fail for me.
I am a dance teacher and wear a full face of make up that includes liquid lipsticks and waterproof mascara on a daily basis.
I was looking for a product that was not to expensive that I could use before cleansing my face to remove my make up.
I found this did not live up to my expectations. Yes it removed my foundation and the majority of my lipstick but removing my mascara did not happen. I felt I really had to scrub at my eyes to get anywhere and then even after removing all the product I have to grab another make up remover to get the mascara completely off.
It's also really hard to get off your skin without a face cloth and this really put me off.
I wont be using this product again
Tips: If using waterproof mascara use something other than this.
I was extremely curious to see how this product would work and i'm very happy with the results! It removes all traces of makeup and leaves skin fresh for cleansing! A little goes a long way with this product although it does have a very strong scent that i can't quite put my finger on
While I loved my oil makeup remover, I wanted to try something else, and having tried other Goodness products, when I saw this at my supermarket, it just fell in with my groceries. The tin is a good size, and is easy to open & close, even with product. You only use a little, I tend to use the back of my little finger nail, to get about two fingernails worth out. then it's a case of massage into your face - very easy to use. It has an odd smell, which reminds me of freshly cut grass, but i think it is mostly a dandelion smell. Importantly it removes makeup, even thick stubborn black eyeliner, and it is gentle on my eyes. I soak a facecloth in hot water and use this to wipe off, it's also nice to allow the hot cloth to rest on my face. It makes it feel like a treatment.
Tips: You really do only need a little bit.
Goodness break-up make-up balm came in a pretty pastel-toned screw-top tin. It boasts an impressive list of natural ingredients, almost a diet list! First impression for me was the aroma of the balm - almost "medical" as it reminded me of Vicks days, or was it Rawleigh's? I have been using a cleansing balm and this one surprised me with its grittiness, almost to exfoliant level. However, that had no detrimental effects on my skin.
This product is very economical, only a frugal amount is needed for the entire make-up removal and eye area also benefits with the Goodness ease of application and removal.
I felt my skin's "relief" immediately after I removed the balm, which in turn took all traces of make-up away with efficiency. In the morning I felt that I had a bare, clean canvas for my moisturiser, and in the evening I apply a fine night serum which went on and was absorbed beautifully.
I would buy this product for everyday use, particularly because of its cost and content, but I do prefer a smoother balm without the "grit".
Tips: Lightly moisten your face or finger before digging into the balm cake, it applies much easier and you use less product.
