These Gel cushions are good for wearing in heels, I trialled them by wearing higher heels than usual to work all day. The balls of my feet were not sore by the end of the day but I did find that my feet felt a little squished into my shoe (this will be a bonus when I have roomer shoes that I need help keeping on!!) as it brings you up and fills the shoe more with the cushion under the foot. I will use these again, make sure they are stuck down properly and i wouldn't advise to move them from shoe to shoe as you will lose the stickiness, but as they are reasonably priced you can have them in every shoe!!

I have found these gel cushions to be good at reliving the pressure under the balls of my feet when wearing high heels. I have just started a new job a couple of weeks ago and have had to wear heels all day, which I am not used to. I have found the balls of my feet get sore after walking and standing in heels all day. The gel cushions felt really comfortable and definitely eased the pain. The pain hasn't completely disappeared but I presume that if I keep wearing them for longer the pressure under the balls of my feet will be relieved, as I have only been using them for 5 days. I did find that they took a few days to get used to, as the cushions felt a bit thick under my toes and balls of my feet, and I felt like there was an awkward uneven feel because the top part of my foot was slightly raised but my heel wasn't. But once I got used to it it felt fine. I also found that sometimes when my feet got quite hot and sweaty the gel cushions would stick to my feet. The heel shields are easy to apply once you get them in the right position, simply peel off the backing and stick it on like a sticker. They can be a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of it it's ok.
The packaging says the gel cushions are reusable and washable, but I have not tried this yet. But it would come in handy especially in winter when I would transfer them into my boots.
Tips: Try and push the gel cushions as far forward to the front of your shoe, so there is no gap or lip at the top of your shoe.
I know these are meant to help with the 'burning' but I still get it really bad even when I use these. I'm too scared to try without them in case they ARE actually working & the burn would be worse without them!! lol. Maybe it is because I don't wear heels alot so I haven't got tough feet! However, they are easy to use and have never slipped. Maybe a bit difficult to get right to the end of boots as they are so grippy they get stuck on the way.
Tips: I roll up both sides and make it a long tube to help get them right to the end of boots.
Used this with my heels on a friend's party and I honestly love it. There was a difference in the feeling of not wearing these cushions with wearing it. My heels felt more comfortable while standing for hours, the only thing that I don't like about it, is that once I've peeled it out of my heels and put it on another pair, then it does not stick well anymore. But it is a great product.
I found Scholl Party Feet Gel Cushions straightforward to apply, although I needed to re-stick them a couple of times to ensure they were exactly where I wanted them to be. I imagine this would have been much easier if the shoes weren't partially closed.
To test out the comfort level, I wore my heels out on a day where I had work and a social gathering afterwards. Despite wearing heels for over 12 hours straight, I felt no pain in the balls of my feet. It was like walking on a cloud. My toes did feel a bit pinched at the end of the day, but that's not the product's fault!
The packaging states that the product is washable and reusable, but I haven't tested this out yet. I would definitely recommend the product based on my experience so far though.
I absolutely love these I usually dont wear heels because they hurt too much for long wearing, now I can last hours wearing my fav heals
I don't wear heels except on special occasions, so my feet aren't use to this kind of pressure. The pain on the balls of my feet was still there, but not as much as if there wasn't. I tried one shoe with it on and other without. It is a big difference by the end of the day.
The gel pad is about 2mm thick, so for me with chunky feet, it made the shoe a bit smaller in the front - pushing my feet out of the shoe opening a bit.
They are easily removable and you can put them in another pair of shoe, which is economically great :)
Tips: Adjust the placement of the gel according to where the balls of your feet will rest in your shoes. Everyone's feet is different from the guidelines indicated on the packet.
As a person who does not own a car and walks everywhere these are a lifesaver for a day when I want to wear something a bit prettier than sneakers. You stick them on the inside of your shoes and just start walking (can't get much easier). The cushions literally cushion the pressure caused from tired feet hitting the pavement and I definitely noticed a huge difference in the amount of time it takes for me to get to that limping home slowly stage - in fact in a full day I never got to that stage. This is why these gel cushions are highly recommended and great for anyone and everyone. I used them in heels but I'm sure they are a great addition to any pair of shoes - even comfortable ones, if you're planning to do a lot of walking.
Tips: They tend to take up a little bit of space in the shoe (not a lot). But choose the shoe you use accordingly.
Little but effective. I trialed these in a pair of shoes that I know leave me with that awful ball of your foot on fire feeling if I wear them for more then a couple of hours. No burning feet at the end of the evening at all. These neat little slip in cushions do the job and do it well. I highly recommend them.
I first started using this product when I got boots that really hurt to wear. The product is easy to place in the shoe itself and really does do what it says it will do. It helps with the pain at the ball of your feet and also helps as a cushion if the shoe is just a tad too big. It lasts for years which is a bonus.
Tips: Try and get the placement right the first time around- it is bit of a pain to peel off and reposition.
