Honey Babe Shampoo & Wash Review

this is one of the best products ive ever used on my baby , i like how you cant smell it until you actually use it and the smell isnt overwhelming , i love how its in a pump bottle instead of trying to open it and squeeze it into my hand its more convinient to use when its in a pump bottle , i needed quite a couple of pumps to cover my baby and it came out nice and smooth and not overly runny. i feel like this would last me a month which is fine , it is definitely going to be what i use on my baby from now on

A nice fragranced wash. Comes in a nice plastic pump bottle and is easy to use with an active toddler without worrying about taking a cap or lid off.The product has a light creamy texture and glides on the skin well. It lathers up lightly and was very easy to wash off and didn’t leave the skin feeling dry at all.However I did find myself using couple a few pumps to get a decent amount to use on my toddler.i know that this shampoo and wash didn’t sting his eyes as My lil Bub didn’t end up crying “eyes eyes wash wash” It did leave his hair and skin feeling nice and soft. ( generally all lil bubs skins soft) but what I mean is that it didn’t leave it feeling too dry as I find some other body washes do. Overall a good product and I will certainly look at purchasing this again.

I love how it provides maximum and nourishing care for my baby's delicate skin. Before, I would find her with red and weepy eyes during bath time (which was caused by the baby wash we used to bathe her with, now I understand), but now everything's changed. I've noticed how our little bubba is enjoying bath time upon using this product. She honestly smells better with this too!

I was selected to take part in the trial team for this product. I was actually really excited when these products arrived as I am a fan of Wild ferns range!

This product didn't come in a box like the other three that I have trialed. The bottle itse'f is a white pump bottle and a label with this beautiful yellow to golden orange ombre with manuka flowers over it, and the most adorable picture of a baby asleep on a manuka flower - even the inside of the box is yellow with white manuka flowers all over it. The 'Honey Baby' and the picture of the baby are embossed and there is a gold trim on the bottom. To me this product design looks like a high quality product.

The lid is a pump bottle which can be turned left to lock or right to pump.There was also a clip that went around the neck of the pump to stop oit from accidentally being pushed in transit (which is also a good idea for travel!). The pump is easy to use and puts out about a good sized 10c piece amount. I found two pumps was more than enough to wash my child's body and another half a pump was enough for his hair.

The shampoo and wash has a pleasant aroma and I found it actually quite gentle on my (eczema prone) hands. I also got brave and tried it on my face before I tried it on our son and my skin felt amazing after! The texture was what would expect from a liquid soap - I found it very similar in texture to the QV body wash we have been using on our child. We used this every night in his shower. I found that it didn't foam up very much as a body wash when used by hand, but when you used a loofah it was very bubbly - using a loofah also meant that my son could wash himself with it too.

As a shampoo it foamed well with the addition of hair and it left our childs hair looking nice. He is prone to cradle cap and eczema on his face and didn't have any reaction to this body wash.

I would highly recommend this product, it would be a fantastic gift for a friend with a newborn. We will be repurchasing, that's for sure!

Wow where do I start! I could honestly sing this gentle no tears shampoo and body washes praises from the roof top! I guess we start with the adorable eye catching image of a baby sleeping on a Mānuka flower while floating in a pool of honey, to the packaging and bottle which are both simple, sweet, uncluttered but with all the relevant information right there for you to see. The bottle comes with a convenient pump too so you only need one hand to get the product out of the bottle! We all know bathing a baby can be difficult without making it harder by struggling holding your baby & trying to squeeze the soap out of the bottle. The smell is divine it reminds me of sherbert fizz lollies - I couldn’t stop smelling my babies hair after using it. Mmmmmm baby smell & candy. I found that since I had my little girl I have had a bit of dandruff so I thought hey I’ll give it a try and after a couple of times using it my dandruff is nearly gone! Yay!! So just when you think surely this stuff can’t get any better ..... Wait there’s more! It’s NOT tested on animals, it’s parables free, Made in New Zealand and comes in recyclable packaging! It’s also all natural ingredients are a great bonus for any Mum worried about their babies skin - the ingredients are Mānuka honey, Mānuka oil, Aloe Vera & Calendula. So not only is it all natural it is perfect for your babies sensitive skin it is also kind to the environment!

Wow finally I have come across not only a beautiful natural baby product but one that has the scents that will instantly take you back to having cradled that little bundle of joy again (because all baby products should smell like it reminds you of a baby) it soaped and bubbled like you would expect a soap and body wash would. The product not only smells great it cleans really well leaving the skin soft and smooth without drying it out. My son's hair was left shiny with extra bounce and made it detangle free and easy to style. We experienced zero issues with skin irritations and rashes and my son loved it so much the challenge was to stop him trying to eat it! This product is well worth having stocked up in your cupboards and is my new go to. The ease of shampoo and wash in one means I am not trying to use different bottles and its a lather up and rinse down from head to toe making shower time much easier and faster.

Really enjoy using this on my one year old daughter, it is a creamy consistency, Makes my one year old daughters hair extra silky snooth and calming fragrances help to relax her even further.

Great size. Again could be bigger but is fine for the house bath caddy.

I loved trialling these products on my precious little boy. I especially liked how all the products were made of no nasty chemicals and of all natural ingredients. The scent of each product in this range was appealing also. The packaging was simple, clear and effective thoughout the range of products. The baby wash and shampoo came in a small pump bottle. The pump was perfect to ensure that you don’t use too much and easy to use when you have a little one to control in the bath. 2-3 pumps was enough to wash my little one from top to toe. It lathered well and didn’t seem to irritate my little boys eyes or skin.

I highly recommend all the products in this range to any mother.

I love the Honey babe range and the way it care's for my sons body and hair. I have tried many shampoos and wash's on his skin and hair and find some strip his hair of moisture while others are an extremely watery consistency and there fore get used up very quickly. The honey babe shampoo and wash however was thicker in consistency and left my sons hair soft shiny and manageable. His skin was moisturised and the product had a very pleasant smell. I will definitely buy the Honey Babe products again for my son and recommend them to all.

I was bought this after I fell in love with the barrier cream a friend gifted me. It smells divine, leaves babies hair beautifully soft, skin well hydrated and being NZ made and all natural I feel confident using it on my wee bub!! The only con is it is not readily available at the supermarket or pharmacy and I had to go online to purchase.
