Honey Babe Shampoo & Wash Review

Another beautiful product from wildferns for baby!

This Shampoo and wash is so practical. I love that it can be used for both, meaning its super gentle to be used not only as a wash but also a shampoo.

The scent of this product is divine - Manuka honey oil, aloe vera and calendula ingredients mean that this product has a lovely natural/fresh scent - a slight sweet scent but nothing overpowering at all.

This Shampoo and Wash is so gentle on my babys skin, and she comes out of the bath with her skin feeling so nourished and hydrated (and she smells super yummy!). This product has not irritated her skin at all. A little goes a long way, the product lathers up really nicely.

Her hair once dried is well cleaned also, with some shine and just generally looks healthy.

Will definitely repurchase, as the price is great for such a versatile and natural product.

When i first opened the bottle to smell it i was hit with quite a strong herbal smell which i wasn't a fan off, can definitely smell what i think is lavender but i wasn't put off by it and squeezed several pumps into my daughters bath. Since its a natural product i thought i'd need more for a good bubble bath, well whoops little did i know a little bit goes a long way, so her first bath trialing this was full of lots of delicious smelling bubbles. I found once the product contacted with water the strong herbal scent went away and we were left with a nice calming scent. Used together with the body oil and baby balm my daughter actually slept through the night for the first time in ages, could be a coincidence or it could be the calming nature of the product, either way i love it. I hope it comes in a larger bottle as we have nearly used up the small bottle already.

This shampoo is amazing, the smell, oh my gosh, it’s like that new baby smell all over again! It’s great that this product is a body wash and shampoo in one. It’s an affordable price which is even better! I found that it was gentle, didn’t irritate my child’s eyes. I love that these products are natural which is so important as you don’t want to use products which are harsh on your child.

I was so skeptical about being for both hair and body but was surprised. Was gentle on my sons delicate skin and super moisterising on my daughters dry curly hair.

The pump bottle is epic gives a great amount of product so no wastage. Also great when bathing slippery baby

Its not super lathery but lathers enough so not over drying which is important. Especially given its fragranced as per its name with honey.

Great product will definitely be repurchasing nice to have another natural based option as we use so much baby wash.

I found this product to be very mild and gentle, perfect for delicate baby skin. The pump bottle makes it easy to use while washing baby.

I have really enjoyed using this shampoo and wash during bathtimes with my baby. The product is a really nice consistency and is a cloudy white appearance, you can see it when you've squirted it out which is handy. The fragrance is lovely and lingers a bit, her hair smells really good afterwards and I end up sniffing her more than I did before I started using this! The lather is just the right amount for a baby wash in my opinion. It lathers up easily but doesn't go too crazy. It washes off easily as well and the packaging claims 'no tears' which I agree with because when I wash her hair out I haven't been particularly careful to keep the runoff away from her eyes and she's never been upset when it's run down her face. The packaging has a great pump dispenser which I prefer for this kind of product. You can, with one hand, squirt the exact right amount of product exactly where you want it. I've been using this for two weeks now and haven't even really made a dent in the amount of product in the bottle so I think it's going to last a while. It got her looking and smelling fresh and clean each time so is a great little wash. I love that this product has Manuka honey in it. Manuka honey has amazing properties and is fantastic for our skin. This wash is made in New Zealand which is a huge drawcard for me. I prefer to buy NZ made skin care by far. The product is 100% natural too, it's something I look for in my own skincare but is especially important in skin care for my baby. This wash is lovely, does what it says and is a good price, definitely something I would repurchase!

Now this I absolutely LOVED! The smell of this product is just beautiful - it has a rich honey scent that lingers on the skin after washing it off. It comes in a 140ml white plastic bottle with a pump action top to decanter it (it is lockable with a twist so great for travelling). Consistency wise its the same as a hand wash or body wash. It lathers slightly during washing and when rinsing it off my daughters hair it went over her face and eyes with no fuss from her. 1 pump is adequate for her little body and I use 2 if im washing her hair too. After drying her hair it smelt yummy and it looked nice and clean. So overall I would definitely buy and use this product again. And same as the Calming Massage Oil in this range its boasts all the same major selling points (NZ made, 100% natural, no animal testing & recyclable) and I think pricing is fair for this product considering you dont need much it will go for a while.

This product leaves my baby’s hair soft and smelling so nice! The shampoo has a slight texture that I find exfoliates gently any cradle cap away. I prefer to use it with a baby brush to create a lather to really clean the hair. It has a lovely natural fragrance that lasts a few days until the next wash. One pump is enough for my 6 month olds hair for a good wash so I can imagine this product lasting a good while! I find my other baby shampoos have quite a strong scent and aren’t natural so if you prefer a lighter scent and natural products this shampoo is for you. I love the pump style packing, so practical and easy! Would recommend to all my friends with a baby

This body wash / shampoo is a light, slightly liquidy consistency which turns to a creamy foam when massaged into the skin or hair. You don't need a lot, a small half pump is all I need for my little ones hair and I use the left over as body wash and pump a tiny bit more if needed. I love the scent of this product, it's slightly sweet without being over powering and it lasts in my babe's hair for a good period of time. I really like that this product has manuka honey in its ingredients list as its well known for its antibacterial properties. My baby also has more hair than the norm and this leaves it feeling soft and silky without the need for conditioner. It also leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated, which I really like as I don't feel that I need to moisturise my hands after using it or baby's body. I have found some other brands can be quite drying, which this is not. In terms of price, there are cheaper alternatives available, however they are not as good as this and at $12 a bottle I don't think this is too high a price point at all. Will definitely be repurchasing this, its all I've used in the last couple of weeks. Really great product!
