I am very impressed with the moisturizing effect of this lip balm. It makes my lip feel super moisturizing and this effect lasts for a long time. Also, the stick itself also lasts a lot longer than any other lip balm I have used.
Tips: I use the chocolate/ cocoa one. At first, I found the smell really weird but over time, the smell becomes better.
I've been using these lip balms for years! In particular the red cherry and the spf 15 sun balm. My skin and lips are quite dry so I avoid any kind of lipstick (even wearing it one day can make my lips sad and peeling). Instead I use the hurraw cherry balm for a nice amount of pigment and extra hydration. It's quite strongly coloured so I only use it once every few hours. If I'm going out in the sun I put the SPF balm over the top - although it does have a bit of a white tint to it. They both smell really nice and are decently priced, they also last quite a long time. Definitely recommend!
Tips: Use if you want to avoid drying lipsticks
I have this lip balm in coffee bean and it is the best lip balm I've ever tried! My sister came over with a bag of gifts and this was in it, it was perfect because I had quite dry lips at the time. It instantly made my lips so much softer and moistured. It glides on so smooth and I just love the smell of it! I really like that it is organic and I know exactly what I'm putting on my lips.
While buying Christmas presents online from Mighty Ape, I added one of these Hurraw Lip Balms to my cart for only $5.99. I've seen these in many chemists and health stores, but I think they tend to be a bit more expensive there.
Coconut is my favourite scent for pretty much everything so it was an easy pick!
The thing that really appealed to me about Hurraw Lip Balm is that it is vegan, natural, not tested on animals etc- so a whole lot of good stuff!
It tastes/smells/feels amazing and is really nourishing, so I only need to apply it a few times a day. It does everything a good lip balm should.
I have my eye on both the Chai Spice & Vanilla ones to try next.
Very reasonably priced for a great quality product.
I purchased the black cherry Hurraw balm because, quite frankly, I'm a sucker for anything cherry scented or flavoured. It was great! soft, moisturising and sweet. It had a rich cherry flavour, unlike alternative brands with cherry balms, which often turn out very plasticy with a hint of cherry. I also love the fact that it's cruelty free.
The worst part about it? I lost it! but that's not Hurraw's fault. I'm just notorious at losing lip balms ;-)
I was really excited to receive the Chai flavour for Christmas (2017) from a friend of mine—I was really impressed by the formula, really conditioning and smells divine! So, of course, I had to purchase more, Vanilla Bean and the SPF one are just as fantastic.
I really enjoy the oval shape to them (as opposed to the circular shape of other chapstick/balms) because at least I can easily reach the edges of my mouth without getting it everywhere or having to use my fingers.
I'll definitely be repurchasing these as they're so handy to have in my handbag, at work or at home.
Tips: They're inexpensive and come on special regularly on places like Mighty Ape or Health Post :)
A flat lip bam so a lot different from the usual shape oval. A pull off lid and a wee twist up thing at the bottom.
The balm is soft non waxy and easy to wipe over my lips I’ve had the cherry one and it’s cherry scented and a very light tint off cherry colour goes on when applied. It’s lovely stuff leaved my lips moisturised. I’ve also used the one with spf the sun lip balm tangerine and chamomile a light beige colour but clear on my lips. These balms are awesome they are cheep and keep lips moisturised they do the job. They don’t go sticky or do they make lips sticky. I’ve even run some over my lipstick it removes a wee bit but stick some on under it’s great.
Tips: Use it I brought some from healthpost but also at life pharmacy.
A great lip balm. I bought a few as gifts for friends and they all love theirs.
Mine has SPF in it which is a bonus.
I'd always been a petroleum jelly user but it could never save my lips from the dry weather here in NZ. I've tried other brands but they never worked out - Burt's Bees gave me allergies, and most other brands I tried left a thick layer of balm on my lips that didn't feel too natural. I only tried the Hurraw! lip balm after it was recommended by my sister and I have to say it really worked like magic. The dry patches were gone the next day! I've been using it ever since to keep my lips hydrated and prevent any dry patches. This is particularly important as I wear liquid lippies most of the time.
I use the unscented lip balm in the morning and the blue chamomile vanilla moon balm in the evening. I've kept this regimen for half a year now and have had no problems whatsoever. The evening balm has a light vanilla smell which I really love as my nose is quite sensitive with strong scents. It absorbs really well in the lips - doesn't take more than a few minutes - so you're not left feeling really greasy at night or having troubles applying lipstick in the morning. This regimen works well even with my regular use of liquid lipsticks.
I'm so happy I discovered this product. I will definitely keep repurchasing!
