Recently purchased this as people rave about it. Love that it's natural and cruelty free. It's nice, shiny and provides some hydration. I do use another natural branded lip balm which I find better and lasts longer, but this one was nice and with a variety to choose from and some being tinted are fun. An oval design obviously for the gals to carry in their pockets. It is lightly scented with a slight flavour. These would be a natural equivalent to another tinted lip balm on the market. Perfect for young girls starting to use some make-up and wanting a hint of colour or shine.
Tips: These would make great stocking stuffers at Xmas.
I have this brand of lip balm in 3 different flavours - vanilla, grapefruit and chocolate. They are really hydrating and actually last a long time. They left my lips really soft. Also super affordable so you can buy one in each flavour if you wanted.
Tips: don't leave them in direct sunlight otherwise they will melt as i found out
not the best thing i have ever tried but i would use it again if i needed too, personally it wasnt very hydrating like I thought i would be
Tips: Put alot on
After reading the reviews on here I popped the Black Cherry balm into my iHerb basket. I love the light lick of colour it gives my lips, it smells yummy and it's not all sticky. Unfortunately I find my lips feel dry afterwards afterwards. I'll keep using it because I do love the colour it gives, but due to the drying effect it's not my favourite.
I bought a couple of these from Oh Natural when they had some sort of sale or promotion on as I was intrigued as to what they would be like.
I have tried the Vanilla Bean, the Coconut and the Lemon. I found them all to smell nice and go on easily but felt they dried quickly and I needed to keep on reapplying throughout the day.
There are so many lip balms on the market and it takes quite a while to use one up, so i probably won't be rushing out to repurchase as there are a lot of other brands I prefer over these but I did enjoy giving them a try.
I have two of these: Vanilla Bean and Coconut. They haven’t turned out to be my favourite lip balms ever, but I do like them and definitely think they’re worth trying out.
The packaging is great. The tube is a slim oval shape, so doesn’t take up much space, and the labels are super cute. It’s really sturdy, and I feel fine chucking it in the depths of my handbag because I know it won’t get damaged, and the cap won’t accidentally pop off.
Both of the balms I own smell amazing. Vanilla Bean is slightly different to what I was expecting, and definitely not a super sugary-sweet vanilla (more natural), but I really like it. The Coconut is my favourite though; it’s a fresh, yummy smell that makes me hungry. The scents don’t transfer into taste, which is fine for me because I personally prefer unflavoured lip balms.
They have a really smooth, silky texture, which is quite different to any other lip balm I’ve used before. It almost reminds me of solid coconut oil because it melts as soon as it touches your lips and feels very lightweight and non-waxy. They give a subtle shine when applied, although they’re not really glossy. I do find that they wear off relatively quickly, and I have to reapply every couple of hours at least, which is more frequently than with my other lip balms.
When my lips are in good condition and I just want to chuck something on to keep them from drying out, these lip balms are great. I think they’re really handy to keep in my bag/pocket for on the go. However, because of the very slippy, light texture and fairly short wear time, I don’t find these particularly great for when my lips are super dry or chapped – they seem to sit on top rather than helping to heal/hydrate like my other more intensive lip balms.
I really like Hurraw lip balms. But if I could only choose one lip balm to use for the rest of my life, it wouldn’t be one of these. As an everyday on-the-go product to prevent dryness, they’re great, but as a product to help when intensive hydration is required, they don’t quite hit the mark.
I love this stuff! I have lipbalms all over my house, in my car and my bag but this is one of the only ones that my lips respond well to when dry. It is not much more expensive than supermarket type ones but I guess it is harder to find, I got this one from my beauty therapist. I love that its natural and especially love that its fairtrade!
This chapstick is nice, however not exceptional. I had the vanilla one, which smelt okay, however tasted bad and did not moisturise my lips as much as I would have liked. I enjoyed the the shape of the tube and it made it more compact for fitting in my pocket, however this product was just forgettable.
In the past year I have started to invest more in natural products and came across this vegan and cruelty free lipbalm. I decided on vanilla bean as I like vanilla flavour but wanted to try something a little different. The vanilla smells sweet but not overpowering and unnatural. I like that you can see the tiny beans in the lip balm.
The lipbalm is easy to use just twist the end, It has never once not twisting back down. The unique oval shape makes it easy to apply to your lips and the formula of the balm is very smooth and doesn't leave a sticky residue on. The balm is quite nourishing but after a while my lips got use to the formula and became dry again so for this reason I find it more of a treat lip balm.
I would repurchase again as they are cheap and have many flavours.
Tips: They are cheap so great for leaving in your car or at work.
