I have never really got on the toner band wagon. I use a toner when I have worn heavy makeup and the cleanser hasn’t got all of it off especially my eye makeup. This particular toner specifies not to use around the eye area so that is a first bad mark. The bottle itself is okay but I feel the amount dispensed at a time is too small and takes a few times to get a decent amount on the wipe. Also the leaves floating around can get stuck in the hole. The toner itself was pleasant enough but I didn’t really feel or notice anything different. It didn’t help remove any residual make up. I’ve used better toners.

I love an alcohol free toner so was very excited to get my hands on this! I really enjoyed using this toner because of its gentleness and herbal element of the toner. The toner itself has little petals floating around in the bottle which was a nice touch.
The toner itself is cooling and feels like it does a decent job clearing the skin before adding other serums and creams, without leaving the skin feeling tight and dry. As part of a routine that aims to add as much moisture to the skin as possible this is the perfect toner for the job.
Thankyou Beauty Review for this trial.
The Toner comes in a tall slim bottle with a clip on lid. The scent I find reminds me of iced tea. A natural scent and the bottle had flowers inside.
To use you simply pour a small amount into a cotton pad and wipe over your face.
I have been using morning and night, I have found my skin to be less oily which is great and I would definitely recommend this product.
Use in conjunction with the serum and moisturizer.
Tips: A small amount goes a long way.
I haven't used toner in quite a while in my skincare routine, and received this as part of a trial team.
The formula is in a clear bottle with instructions for use on the front, and it's brown with calendula petals. Normally I can definitely leave calendula, as I cannot stand the scent, but the smell doesn't seem to strong with this and I don't mind it. And the petals are visually pleasing.
Upon application, this isn't sticky and glides on nicely. I found it soothed my skin when my sensitivity flared (currently, normally on my neck) and with regular use it seems to have stopped completely. My skin also doesn't feel dry or tight after applying it.
I am surprised and pleased at how well this has worked for my skin and will definitely consider purchasing it in the future.
Packaging: The bottle is simple and inexpensive-looking. Very crowded label.
Product: The product itself has the consistency, colour and scent of iced tea, and actually has the calendula petals floating in it.
Use: I have always found toners difficult to remember to use in my routine. This one leaves a really fresh feeling to my skin, and left it calmer after a week or so of use. I don't mind the smell, it did just feel a little strange to be putting the smell of tea on my face to start with.
I only would be tenuous about using it again as it's a step I'm probably going to fall off the wagon with again soon!!
Thanks so much for giving me the chance to try this brand its been so lovely. Im usually not a huge toner fan as it comes down to having time to do it and sometimes i think its not needed. Anyway i was happy to give it a go and its actually so nice to use and i found it quite refreshing on my face after washing and so surprising to see how much grime and dirt wasn't removed from a wash. It has a nice clean feeling not too drying and not really an scent either which i found quite nice. It works well in conjunction with the serum and the moisturiser and i will definitely continue to use it.
Tips: Remember to shake as it has little bits that float around and sink to the bottom.
I absolutely loved this toner. I haven't been big on using toners in the past, so was excited to try this one. I especially like that its alcohol free so it doesn't sting or dry my skin, particularly in sensitive areas. I used the toner following my oil cleanser as a second cleanse and tone and it left my skin feeling clean, calm and soothed. I noticed my skin improved over the fortnight I used the product with less breakouts and redness. A little certainly went a long way, which is also a bonus. It was the perfect second step in my skincare routine and set a great platform for my serum as I could trust my skin was well cleansed and makeup/dirt free. I'll definitely continue using this - I was very impressed!
Tips: You don't need much on your cotton pad, a few drops did my entire face.
I must admit I don’t usually tone. I have a bit of combination skin that’s quite sensitive so usually find it too drying in patches and also the alcohol dries it even more, stings or it is just off putting to think about having alcohol in there. But this was alcohol free so that was a bonus!
It’s quite a pretty bottle with its yellow tinge and floral floaties. Quite the show piece for any bathroom really.
Next thing I noticed was the smell - it personally reminds me of lemon tea kind of so very refreshing.
It’s so gentle and mild on the skin and I didn’t find it drying at all! In fact it freshened up my skin nicely.
I used a wipe and toned after cleansing. It actually removed a little more makeup and dirt from my skin that cleansing alone didn’t which was nice but also revealing.
It refreshed my skin and gave a nice clean cool feeling. No drying or tightening like say Cliniques has done to my skin in the past.
I would love to reuse but must admit it’s usually a step I skip and I hate using disposable wipes. My skin is in great condition at the moment though.. these products have been so gentle yet have had a huge impact on my skin - it’s really in amazing condition that I feel I can wear no makeup so I perhaps shouldn’t be so lazy and keep it up!!
When I first recieved this toner I thought hmmm interesting with all the floating plant bits in it but it felt more of a natural product seeing this I applied with a cotton pad didnt need much at all just a teaspoon full I applied over my troubled areas more and geez it removes all that extra dirt off an out of places you didnt even relised you had missed it doesn't really have a fragrance it absorbs very face ready as soon as your finished for the next step I love this product it's the type of product that you feel satisfied you brought something that worked it prepared my skin wonderfully
Tips: Use mainly 9n area that need the most attention I used a cotton bud for my nose creases etc
I'm loving this toner. It comes in a plastic flip top bottle and has a light herbal scent. I have tried a few alcohol free toners in the past few years and this one really sets itself apart.
After applying, my skin feels soft and toned, but not at all dry. I am enjoying the experience of using it (the herbal scent lends to a spa like feel), as well as the results. After using it, my skin feels prepped for serum and moisturizer. Definitely a step not to be skipped in a good skincare routine. You skin will thank you for it.
