Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate Review

I have just started getting lines on my forehead, in my early 30s. Not deep lines but lines that are there even when I relax my face. So I was super excited to try this trio! Thanks BR! I have been using this for 3 weeks, 2 pumps in the morning and 2 pumps at night. I have definitely noticed a difference, lines on my forehead have almost disappeared! Cleanse face and use clean hands to apply in a upward direction. It has a velvety feel on the skin and slightly warm feeling, I didn't notice this until I read about it though. Packaging, simple but looks high end to me. It is a plastic pump bottle that is tinted and has a lid where you can keep it locked so good for travel. Over 3 weeks I have used a quarter of the bottle, so it should last me 3 months with 2 pumps a day. 6months with just 1 pump a day. The only problem I had was that I wasn't sure which product to use first on the skin from the trio but googled and definitely use this first before any other oils or serums creams.

I really love the citrusy scent of this product and the lotion-like consistency. It makes my skin feels physically smoother right after application. Moisturiser seems to glide much easier when used on top of this concentrate and my foundation seemed to lasts longer. I think it feels more like a primer than a treatment product, as everything seemed to go well on top of it, including sunscreen.

A few times I noticed my skin a tad tingly after application, esp when there's broken skin around a pimply area.

I'm not sure how much I'm supposed to use as one pump didn't seem to produce enough product to cover my entire face. I probably ended up using too much, slathering it on my neck, hoping to prevent more wrinkles from appearing.

It really is a joy to apply, even if there's no noticeable difference to my skin so far. I'll keep using it as the scent and texture of the product make me feel it's a treat for my skin and I feel my skin is plumper after application. Here's hoping it makes noticeable difference soon!

Would repurchase, especially if it manages to halt the progress of lines on my neck.

I was extremely excited to try out some Kiehl’s products as I’ve never used them before and (unfortunately) my skin is at the stage where it has all the problems this product is targeted for - lines, wrinkles and dryness.

I had to remind myself not to use too much and it does warn on the box that you may experience a feeling of warmth when you apply it. I did feel that warmth on my skin, especially at the beginning but I feel that has lessened as I have continued to use it. Either that or I’m just getting used to it.

I feel that my skin is looking much better since using it and I look forward to seeing the difference once I’ve completely used the bottle. I think that it has helped soften some of the fine lines and my skin is looking smoother and feels much more hydrated than normal. I have quite noticeable pores around my nose area and I think it has also helped to make them a little less obvious and I did feel extra warmth around that area which I’m assuming means it’s working harder to do its job. I have had a few positive comments about my skin so I think it has definitely made a difference to the overall texture and look of my skin, plus it feels softer and not as dry.

A little warning: I did put it on a tiny bit too close to my eye area the first time I tried it (it does warn you in the directions to avoid the eye area) but I quickly learned from my mistake and applied it more carefully from then on.

Overall I think this is a fantastic product and I like that it is available from Farmers.

I've never tried Kiehl's before and have been lucky enough to try 3 recently. All of them have been as fabulous as I imagine, and this is no different!

It's the perfect serum for those of us in our late 30s-early 40s, for giving those wrinkles a kick up the bum!

I've been using this after showering day and night. I'm using a couple of pumps at a time, and after 3 weeks I'm not even halfway through the bottle, so it's going to last around 2 months I think.

I experienced a slight warming sensation, which if I'd read the instructions beforehand, wouldn't have surprised me! I actually experience it everytime, which to me says there's some proper working ingredients inside!

Skin looks and feels smoother, lines are plumped up and I feel good about my skin. What more can you want from a serum?!

I am always on the lookout for skincare products that can improve the health and condition of my skin. Recently my skin has been in serious need of some radiance. The Kiehl’s Powerful -Strength Line Reducing Concentrate is a rich serum which contains 12 1/2% vitamin C plus hyaluronic acid, the holy grail of hydration. Vitamin C aids collagen production and helps to repair skin damaged by environmental exposure. It is supposed to minimise brown spots and pigmentation over time. The serum comes packaged in the well known white Kiehl’s box with product details and usage information clearly displayed. It is contained in an airtight, opaque bottle thus ensuring the vitamin C is not damaged by exposure to air and light. Full marks for including a pump making it hygienic and practical. The pump can be locked making it great for travelling. I apply the serum in the morning and evening, after cleansing and before my moisturiser. On application there is a slight warming sensation and my skin goes a bit red. This fades after a few minutes. There is a light citrus scent, possibly because orange and lemon oils are part of the blend. The texture of the serum is creamier and thicker than other serums I’ve used but it doesn’t feel too greasy. It is absorbed relatively quickly but if I have been heavy handed with the product I wait a few minutes than massage it in. I am in my 70s so my skin is ageing and has dry patches from indoor heating in the winter. I have been using the serum for 20 days now with pleasing results. My skin looks smoother and definitely feels softer. It is noticeable just how much fresher and brighter my complexion is. It is much more radiant and translucent. My fine lines are still there but they appear less pronounced. The dry patches on my cheeks are more hydrated. I am using the serum in conjunction with the Keihl’s Dark Spot Solution and the Multi Corrective Cream. Having a regime of targeted skincare has really contributed to my pleasing results and I will be repurchasing.

I've enjoyed trialling this product over the last few weeks. It feels great on my skin. I did feel the slight tingle the first few days I used it but now it glides on without any sensation. To be honest I would need to use it for longer to be able to say its made any visible difference to the texture of my skin. I will continue to use it and see how things go.

The Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate makes me feel as if I am applying something to my skin that my Dermatologist or Pharmacist has whipped up for me on the spot! The amber bottle and simple black pump adds to the illusion. The concentrate itself is a silky white cream and has quite an odd scent, almost like petroleum, not at all fresh and herby like the other Kiehls products in the trial. The 'petroleum' smell seems appropriate though because a lovely warm sensation is experienced upon massaging the concentrate into the skin. Apparently, the concentrate has been shown to improve skin appearance and texture, help reduce the appearance of Marionette lines from the corners of the mouth, leading towards the chin. It is also meant to improve the appearance of crows feet lines and wrinkles as well as Sub-orbital wrinkles in the eye area. Does it do this? Maybe! I do have a marked improvement in my skin appearance and texture, which could also be attributed to the other Kiehls products in this trial. My lines and wrinkles have remained the same. I do feel only a syringe would deal to those! However, there is something quite magical and mysterious about this little amber bottle so I am most definitely going to continue using it in the hope that over time I will see a visible difference in all those little life lines on my face.

This is a fantastic product; it comes in a 50ml dark pump bottle. The cream is a white creamy type and is easy to get out. I really like the packaging of the box and bottle, it is really easy to see that it contains 12.5% vitamin C and Hyluronic acid. It is easy to read also. You only need to use one pump for your whole face. This product does smooth the skin and reduce lines, I’m late twenties so not overly suffering from lines but it helps reduce what I do have! It had a slight numbing/warm feeling once on but did not irritate my skin at all. I have oily/combo skin and this was quite greasy on the skin
