Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream Review

I was nervous to change up my skincare routine right before the Christmas holidays because I break out easily but I gave it go and glad I did. This cream along with 2 other products I have been using from Kiehl's have been a treat for my skin. My skin looks so much healthier with a lovely glow. I had started getting lines on my forehead, so it was perfect timing receiving these to trial. I have definitely seen a improvement, lines on forehead have almost disappeared and I have only been using this once at night as a night cream. It is thick in consistency and blends very nicely and feels like a rich but not heavy on the skin balm. It comes in a nice burgundy jar with a twist lid. Thanks BR!

I was really excited to trial the Kiehl’s Multi-Corrective Cream. I am in my 70s and my skin after winter is dry and needs a hydration boost. Added to this I have pigmentation on my face which contributes to an uneven skin tone. The cream contains Vitamin A and includes beech tree extract, jasmonic acid and hyaluronic acid (the holy grail of hydration). Vitamin A has been proven to improve the appearance of ageing skin by stimulating cell production, lightening brown spots and reversing sun and environmental damage. The cream is in a purple jar with clear product information and usage directions. Ingredients are listed on a separate piece of paper attached to the bottom of the jar. Unfortunately there is no spatula to scoop the cream from the pot making it a bit unhygienic. The cream itself is white and thick. It has a light herbal scent - possibly the beech tree extract, which doesn’t linger after application. I apply the cream at night after my cleansing, toning, serum routine. It’s easy to put on and melts into my skin. After leaving for 5 minutes there is usually a residue which I then massage in. This is a really nice face cream but I think some people, unless you have dry skin, would find its consistency a bit oily. My dry skin lapped it up. The next morning my skin felt hydrated and intensely nourished. The texture of my skin was definitely softened. I have been using this cream with the Kiehl’s Vitamin C Corrective Dark Spot Solution and the Kiehl’s Vitamin C Line Reducing Serum. Using the cream as part of a regime has enhanced its potential and my skin overall shows real improvement. I can see results of a more even skin tone and radiance. Firmness and lift are a bit subjective but my skin glows and looks healthy. Unfortunately I still have pigmentation although its seems a bit lighter. I have been using the cream for 20 days and to be fair there hasn’t been enough time to combat the environmental damage. I am pleased with the results and will continue to use.

This purple pottle contains a beautiful, lush cream that hydrates and softens skin after just one use.

I'm not a huge fan of the pottle format, I prefer a tube or pump, they feel more hygenic to me.

I've noticed my skin has been definitely firmer as well as smoother and softer. I have no dry patches at all either, which is unusual for me, I'm usually battling at least one at any given time!

The most marked difference has been on my neck, I no longer feel all gobble-gobble with a turkey neck! I mean, its not cured it and I could be kidding myself, but I think it looks so much better!

I've only marked it down as I'd like to give it longer to properly judge the impact on all areas of my skin.

This moisturiser was my final step in my Kiehl’s regime and it feels lovely when you apply it to your skin. It is quite a thick moisturiser in the pot but it feels extremely light when it touches your skin. It absorbs quite quickly and it makes your skin feel very hydrated and smooth: it is lovely! Unfortunately I have the perfect skin to test this product on as I have lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone to name a few. I have unfortunately started getting those annoying lines above my top lip (due to age/sun damage, not smoking) and I feel this moisturiser has really helped to soften those lines. My smile lines are a bit trickier to fix but I do feel that this has helped to soften them (I think only botox would completely get rid of those ones as they’re pretty hardcore). After applying the multi-corrective cream, I feel that my skin looks and feels smoother and dewier (not sure if that’s a word) but it is definitely not as dry as it normally is. I think this is a fabulous moisturiser and it compliments the other two Kiehl’s products perfectly. The combination of all three products has definitely made a huge improvement to the overall look and feel of my skin and I would definitely recommend these products to anyone with fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tone, age spots or other similar skin issues.

I don't normally like using "cream" as they can be too much for my combination oily skin. To my surprise this lightly scented cream feels light and it doesn't break me out. The consistency sits between a lotion and a cream.

It glides easily on my skin and very quickly absorbed, I can apply my foundation straight away. A very good point as I'm always rushing out of the door in the mornings.

I noticed the dehydrated part of my skin looks better so I will keep using this cream. Like the rest of Kiehls products I'm trialing, I think I would need to use it longer to see if it improves my skin. Definitely slathering it on my dehydrated neck.

The only thing I dislike from this product is the packaging. I wondered if I contaminated the cream everytime I stick my finger on it and if the potency of the ingredients are diminished everytime it's exposed to the air.

This cream is one of the most heavenly face creams I've ever used. Lightly lavender scented, it glides onto thirsty skin and provides instant, first-aid-style hydration. My skin literally can't get enough of this product. I've been using it day and night. Usually when applying moisturiser at night, I find that my skin gets a bit overloaded by heavy night creams and is left feeling sodden and greasy. This is so readily absorbed that I could apply up to three coats without feeling the slightest bit greasy or like my face was going to stick to my pillow case. Amazing! When I used it in the day, my makeup applied really well over the top. After application my skin is soft, glowy and refreshed looking, and fine lines seem visibly reduced - particularly around my décolletage. This is one of my all time favourite Kiehl's products - I'm hooked.

Love the smell and the fact that not much product is needed as this spreads well. I can most definitely see my skin looks norished and is soft to the touch.

Use sparingly as too much can feel heavy on the skin and becomes oily after a while.

I am in love with this cream! For me this is hands down the best moisturiser I have ever used, and believe me I've used a few. It comes in a 50ml purple plastic pot and the ingredient list seems to be all natural botanicals (bit hard to read it's so small). It has a mild sort of "garden" fragrance, but I can't pick any particular scent. It can be used morning and night and I have been doing so. The consistency of the cream really light, silky and a little goes a very long way so it's good value as well, and a saving on having a separate heavy-duty night cream.

The claim is to visibly firm, lift, smooth, boost radiance, moisturise, even texture and enhance healthy complexion. My skin is definitely looker way better using this and in conjunction with the Line Reducing concentrate. Love it!

Oh Kiehl's. I was so suspicious of you and your cult status. I'll even admit, I went into this determined to find fault because you know...who wants to follow the cult crowd?

ALAS. I am now a Kiehl's convert. In fact I think I get my Kiehl's love into any conversation at the moment.

This gorgeous little purple cream is so luxurious and rich. I was worried it would feel heavy but it just sinks into the skin. My skin drinks it up!

I've been using this on my face and neck, really focusing on the areas of my jaw that are starting to look at little saggy. After 2 weeks I can see an improvement to the sag factor, and I don't think it's in my head, I do think my jaw skin has tightened!

Overall my skin looks glowing, even in skin tone and just all-round healthier. I'm so excited by the results so far and can't wait to keep using it and see how I'm looking in a few more weeks time!
