Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream Review

Kiehl's is what I've always considered high end, but actually the price ranges are much more reasonable than I thought.

When this cream arrived I did think it looked a little boring, but there's lots of info on the tub and I suppose really, what more do you need but a study bit of informative packaging!

It's quite thick, but not so thick it feels greasy and pore-blocking. It has a slight scent, not unpleasant and it smells natural - like this is just the way these ingredients smell, rather than over-perfumed.

This is a great every day moisturiser, it is super hydrating and replenishing, but doesn't leave skin oily after use, even in the sweltering heat we're having down south at the mo.

I think this is perfect for those with any kind of skin type really, I have combo, leaning towards dry cheeks and greasy t-zone and this works beautiful on all areas.

I am really blown away by how good a simple moisturiser can be, it blows my daily supermarket staple out of the water!

After searching and searching for a good quality super hydrating moisturizer for my 35 yr old face. I have found one!!! This is the most beautiful product my face has ever had on it, so luxe, thick and beautifully hydrating. Soaks into my skin so nicely and doesn't leave an oily residue.

A little goes a really long way with this so you only need a tiny bit and it's enough for my whole face neck and chest.

Hardly any scent if any, so perfect for my sensitive skin. Love everything about this even down to the packaging which has that old school apothecary feel.

Gorgeous product and highly recommend to anyone who needs extra hydrating especially over the summer months.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream was the final stage in this three part trial and like the previous two products before it this cream was beautiful on my skin. I applied it after the serum had well absorbed and it glided on with ease, not requiring a huge amount as it was light and flexible. I was able to use it in both day and night which is handy and it absorbed well making it easy to apply makeup when needed. I was pleased to be able to participate in this trial and to experience for myself the pleasing results that this three stage regime has delivered. I had never used Kiehl’s products before and was interested to see that it’s been around since 1851 - nearly 170 years ! Would I recommend it to a friend - I already have ! ,

This ultra facial cream is my favourite of the three products I got to trial. I love them all but this is next level amazing. It’s a 24 hour daily facial cream that is super lightweight, it feels so silky smooth on the skin. My skin soaks it up but also leaves me a radiant all day glow. My skin looks and feels so much healthier since I’ve been using this. It’s my ultimate favourite facial cream to date. I have absolutely no dry skin anymore!!! Yay

This facial cream is a beautiful thick cream that spreads easily and feels wonderfully light on the skin. It has no detectable scent, which is perfect as fragrances are generally an unnecessary irritant in beauty products. This cream is full of all the good stuff with none of the fillers found in cheaper products so well worth the investment for beautiful skin.

It is a treat to apply before bed and know its taking care of my skin overnight. A little goes a long way making it great value for money. This cream delivers on promises of hydrated skin and is definitely a new favourite. I'm looking forward to using it during winter, when my skin is extra dry.

I have been really impressed with the level of hydration that this cream has provided. Stating that this cream provides 2.3 times more hydration is a bold claim, but a claim that has been backed up. I have very combination skin and have found this cream to be suitable for my whole face as appose to having to apply different creams to different areas. The cream is of a medium consistency, neither thin nor thick with minimal scent. a little goes a long way and instantly absorbes into the skin leaving no residue behind. Perfect for using at night or in the morning under foundation. This cream truly does everything it claims and in conjunction with toner and serum makes a fab trio

I was lucky enough to receive this as part of a trial team, and I'm so glad I did.

It comes in a little pot, with instructions on how to use at the front. It is scented, but I didn't find it unpleasant, overpowering, or notice it on my face after application.

The cream itself is light and you will find a little will go a long way, just a dip of my finger would do my face and neck. I have been using it twice a day for three weeks so far and I have barely made a dent in the 50 ml pot.

I found this product extremely moisturising - you can feel it as soon as you apply it and it lasts all day, but doesn't leave your t-zone feeling oily. I also feel like my skin is a little more glowy because it's nice and hydrated.

Overall, I would definitely use this again. While it seems expensive, the fact you use so little and the product works, means that I will be purchasing it again in the future.

Packaging: Simple, clean lines. A little cheap-looking initially. I'm not always a fan of pot creams because of the hygiene factor of sticking my fingers into it daily.

Appearance: It's a plain white cream with a pleasant herbal smell. It's very smooth and not greasy, despite it's hydrating and heavy nature.

Use: I found this cream to be really great to use. It has left my skin really soft, and I think has started to improve the condition of it. It was too heavy for me to use twice a day, so I just use it once a day now. It has worked wonders and left my skin not hating the very drying hospital air-conditioning!

I’ve always loved Kiehls packaging and products and follow their instagram just to see and hear about their products and I much admit this was number one I wanted to try. So thank you BR. I had seen a read many things about this cream and was not disappointed.

This plain and simple packaging is so me. But I do love seeing their cute festive range also.

This creamy concoction is scentless, white and a cream consistency, but not too thick. It’s quite light weight on the skin and spreads so well. It’s not like spreading sunscreen. It’s so silky - and lightweight so I was ultra surprised! It definitely feels like there must be some sort of filler in there to make it that silky smooth but looking at the ingredients list that can’t be!? It’s just so smoothing on the skin!!

I didn’t use a lot just a few dabs and then blended in. I do have quite dry & sensitive skin, but my skin has been in great condition! This has been so moisturising and seems to last into the night and morning. I actually don’t cleanse and wash my face in the morning - I go straight to the sunscreen and makeup usually, but I have been loving my skin lately so haven’t really been using makeup at all! It’s in such good condition.

I think this range suits my age.. 35 for sure! Usually more natural based products I avoid as the scent, stickyness or effectiveness put me off and I stick them in the not for me category.. but this cream would suit a wide age group.

It’s been so soft and smoothing I have noticed my skin is more hydrated, smooth and soft. I still have those big wrinkles - nothing will change that but this has greatly reduced the roughness, tightness and dryness in my skin. It looks fresh and plump. And it’s so surprising as it looks like a simple cream with no scent but it is obviously packing some powerful ingredients.. it’s quite similar to a night mask I would say for your skin with the hydration it can deliver.

Kiehls riccarton is my local and I always slither in for a test so make sure you try it out at your local I’ve always found they are so helpful to let you try.

Ok do I have a bad history with moisturizers I put them on and they make me sweat like it's running off my face I havent in 37 years found one that works for me WELL my prayers were answered this cream is EVERYTHING I mean I put this on after toner and super serum and man its soooo good it put a thin layer all over my face an neck you can feel it for about 2 minutes then it's already fully absorbed but when I touch my face it feels like this silk layer on my face an the first time I was oh my this is brilliant a must have I love it no more melting off my face
