So i don't know if i believe the stuff about konjac clearing up all acne etc etc but what i like about this is that it gently exfoliates the skin. it makes skin feel so soft, smooth and clean afterwards. definitely recommend as a part of an everyday routine

Tips: put a small amount of cetaphil cleanser on the sponge after soaking
I got my sponge about a two months ago and have been using it every night. It leaves my skin feeling so soft to touch. I have used the sponge with natural products rather than ones contains salicylic acid. The cleaners I have been using are Essano rosehip cleanser, Oasis cleanser and Yes to blueberries cream cleanser. The sponge works well using either cream or foaming cleansers. Foaming cleansers don't give as much foam with the sponge as they do without. I seem to use the same amount of product when applied directly to the face or to the sponge. I do apply the cleanser directly to my face out of preference. Sometimes I do have a lazy day where I just wash my face to remove my make up and it works great on that with product. The sponge itself reminds me of a kitchen sponge but with smaller holes and fits nicely I the hand. I do use the edge of the sponge to get into areas like around the nose and eyes where it needs to be angled a little. I find that it is comfortable to use. As this little sponge exfoliates as it goes gently over the skin, I don't need another exfoliator or scrub to cleanse with. If you use a scrub regularly you may cut back on using it so often with this. The curved side seems a little more rough than the flat side, I have noticed. Over all I think this is a good little sponge to have and for the price, $10-15, if you take care of it, it is worth the money. The fact that it is biodegradable is a bonus. I have heard that you can boil this sponge for a few minutes to sterilize it but I haven't tried do that.
Tips: Make sure you rinse the sponge out and squeeze it out before hanging it up.
I received my Konjac Sponge about a week ago and I can already see the results, I go the collagen sponge, because fine lines are starting to appear and I look older than I am. My skin is softer, and my skin is starting to glow, next time I think I'll get one to work on the redness of my skin, hopefully that one will work as well as this one has.
Tips: I cleanse first then use the sponge to lift off all those dead skin cells. Make sure you take you sponge out of the shower and hang it somewhere to dry otherwise it wont last as long.
I love konjac sponge Been using for a few months now and when i firs ever started using It made my skin feel this supple clean hydrated feeling i had never felt for a very long time as i am quite old an my skin is getting on ;) So i had gotten me 4 sponges 2 green and 2 blacks Im currently using the green one and its awesome I use with any face wash im using at the time and helps exfoliate my skin gently and. Helps cleansers to work better :) yay winning all round
Tips: Soak sponge for a few mins in water Squeeze out and buff away :)
My oh my was I excited to try this sponge; I had read and heard such wonderful things about this innovative product I just had to give it a go. I purchased the charcoal sponge that was the best fit for my combination skin.
Firstly I found that using this product on its own with no cleanser did not work very well for me, I didn’t get that clean feeling that I am used too. When I used with a cleanser I found it worked very well at exfoliating my skin by removing dead skin cells and also leaving it clean and supple.
The sponge has an interesting texture, very squishy and collagen-like if that makes any sense! I really enjoyed the way it felt against my skin and found that I used the rounded side for cleansing all over my face and the corners for cleansing around my nose.
After a solid months use I noticed that my blackheads/whiteheads were slowly disappearing and that my pores were perhaps a tiny bit smaller and less noticeable. My T Zone was less oily than usual and my skin just generally felt heathier.
I think the biggest benefit with this product is that you tend to wash your face for longer and more thoroughly when you are using a product to aid in cleansing. When using my hands to cleanse my face it is easy to give your face a quick once over and rinse, when using a sponge I noticed that I definitely paid more attention to my face and particularly areas on my face where dead skin builds up.
Highly recommended, easy to use and an effective
Tips: For the first few weeks I completely stopped using my exfoliator which I usually use 3 times a week. I found although the sponge is exfoliating it did not replace my exfoliator so I used them in conjunction with one another and found this gave the best results.
I have been using the Charcoal grey sponge for 3 weeks now and I have to say, it is incredible! I have really oily skin and from the first week I noticed a decrease in oilyness on my T Zone. I shower at night and now wake up in the morning with normal skin (instead of a complete oil slick), and even during the day I think my face produces less oil. I have yet to see a massive reduction in pore size, but I am hopefuly this will happen with continued use. I use it 50/50 with my normal cleanser or on its own.
Tips: Make sure you sqeeze all the water out before hanging it up to dry - I leave mine in the shower and it tends to stay damp (it was damp when I took it out of the package) but the more water you can get out of it the better. Still not sure if there is a difference between the flat side and the round side?
After the first use my skin was GLOWING. I had recently done a nose strip for my blackheads, they usually come back after a couple of days but its been a week and i still don't have any! I bought the charcoal sponge and i love it. I use it with water alone after removing all of my make up.
I absolutely love my sponge. I have the small sponge in blueberry which has antioxidants and collagen. I was really skeptical when I first saw this product at an expo but I was offered $5 off so I figured why not. I have found that my skin is so much softer after using my sponge and it visibly reduces my blackheads. I've noticed that if I don't use it my skin is noticeably duller and my black heads return. I've now had mine for a month and apparently it should last 2-3 months if cared for properly. I will definitely be purchasing another one.
Tips: I have heard people have found theirs disintegrate after a few weeks, my trick is to make sure you squeeze (don't twist) the excess water out of it and then hang to dry.
I was really disappointed in this product as I feel it doesn't do what it says it will. I don't think it cleanses, exfoliates and moisturises all in one at all.
I tried this without using a cleansing product and the results were just shabby, I recommend using a cleanser with it, which to me defeats the purpose of the sponge entirely. My face didn't feel or look clean after use when used alone.
I do like the way it feels against my skin, nice and soft. I also like using a product to apply cleanser to my skin, rather than just my fingers, it just feels better to me, but I wouldn't bother with this sponge again, especially for the price of it.
After hearing so many good things, I decided I needed to try these! I got the charcoal sponge to help with acne. I have been using it for about a month now and I have been really enjoying it. I use it without any cleanser, just water, to help prolong the life of the sponge, plus I don't feel like I need to use any products with it as it makes my skin feel great all by itself. I'm usually terrible at remembering to add new things into my routine, but this is great cause I can just use it in the shower, and being a busy mum the shower is usually the only quiet time I get during the day, so any excuse to stay in there and extra minute or two is awesome. The sponge feels so nice against my skin that I find myself using it for a lot longer than I would if I was just washing my face with cleanser. It makes my skin feel soft, smooth and very clean. I'm not convinced it has helped with my redness like I had heard it would, but my skin is feeling great and I have much less spots and pimples than before I started using the sponge. I'm really enjoying it and I will definitely keep using it, and natural products get a big tick from me!
Tips: Store in a cool dry place, out of direct sun light. If the sponge dries out, just soak it in water a bit before use. Also don't wring the sponge out, just press flat to remove excess water after use :)
