I bought the natural Konjac sponge after seeing ridiculously amazing reviews online and after using it for a while I have to say I think they may be a little over hyped.
In saying that, I did really love it when I first purchased it but only in combination with my regular cleanser. The sponge itself is actually hard like pumis, but softens up when you wet it. It offers a really gentle exfoliation but like I said, I had to combine it with my cleanser to get the results I was after.
If you have fairly normal skin, don't suffer many breakouts and aren't looking for a super thorough cleansing then this product would probably be amazing for you - particularly people who are concerned with natural skincare or maybe an older lady who doesn't want to be using anything that might age her skin.
I probably wouldn't repurchase this only because I found as it wore down I began to see less results, alongside the fact that it didn't really do what it said (cleansing without use of additional cleansing products)
I love love love these Konjac sponges. They don't look like much when you first open the packet but I am in love with them. I have this in charcoal, red clay and pink clay I think it is called. I was lucky enough to get these for $10 each and I have been getting some really good results. If you do have bad breakouts, it probably won't get rid of them with just water but if you add your normal acne fighting cleanser to it, it will do the trick, this is what I do with mine. The texture is like a sea sponge, super soft and squishy, it feels heavenly and I love it so much I just end up massaging into my face for a long time and have to stop. Its small enough and compact enough if you want to take it with you if you go away anywhere. Simple to use, easy to dry, as you just rinse when finished using, and then air dry it. They last for about 3 months, but if you really look after it, it can last for a lot longer than that. So for the price and the results it gives you, definitely worth it.
