I received a small size of this in the Christmas 15' advent calendar. I have used L'occitane products before but not the Shea butter range.
The packaging is a silver tube with a dark blue screw lid. The hand cream comes out fairly easily, so no complaints there.
It is quite a rich cream so you only need a small amount to cover your hands. It smells a bit like lavender and you can definitely notice it once applied to your hands. I really like how this doesn't feel greasy like some hand creams do once applied.
This hand cream is very nourishing on my dry hands. I used this up over the course of a week. My hands have always been sensitive and dry and I really notice a difference in their softness and texture.
I will probably repurchase this cream at some point when I can afford too.
The packaging is not the greatest since I don't really like the tin packages. They can bend and break, and the lid doesn't screw on particularly well.
However, the product inside it makes up for it. It is so rich and creamy that a little really goes a long way! It's so thick and balmy but still blends really easily and is just soaked up by the skin. It's a real life-changer and hands remain moisturised for a long time, even after washing. It doesn't feel greasy either and plumps up and nourishes the skin.
It definitely smells of lavender but isn't overpowering and is a dream to use. The only downside is the price - it's hard to justify spending $50 on hand cream.
