L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream

Love love this cream. The consistency is firm in the pot but smooth to apply, finger tips are all you need to apply this cream. Some creams in the past I have found the need for a stick or applicator. It has a light fragrance similar the the night cream. Like a light perfume of flowers but nothing floral. I have used more of this cream than the night so will not last as long, but it’s price point of around $25.00 means it is cost effective when purchasing it every 6 weeks. I found it covered well and felt great going on, it was light on the face, not leaving a greasy residue. It seemed to last all day, even with walking most lockdown days in windy weather. I like the light refreshing packaging, easy to recognise on a shop shelf with little waste of trees to produce the packaging. I think it is working and some fine lines have lessened. Overall I fully recommend this day cream.

I am in love with this beautiful day cream, it compliments the night cream with the same benefits. Perfect for my ageing skin, I have noticed improvements in the texture of my skin - absolutely amazing. I have sensitive skin and have found my skin is totally ok with this day cream - and the hydration is wonderful on my winter skin. And it does what it says it will do on the box - reduce age spots I had a big one on my cheek and isn’t as noticeable. A beautiful moisturiser for under make-up, except since lockdown make-up has gone out the window but not using this cream, I just love the way it makes my skin feel so are happy to go around the house without any makeup. I do recommend this day cream, I think even if I was younger I’d give it a try, my sister has done out and brought this cream as she’s heard me rave on about it and seen the results from my skin. Definitely will be continuing with this collagen boasting cream. Thanks L’Oréal for helping me fight the signs of ageing.

Loved the way the new Loreal Age Perfect, Collagen Tightening, worked with the other Loreal products l am using in their range It feels very creamy when applying and covets skin very well , l found it non greasy and the day cream allowed me to apply makeup with virtually no wait time for it to be absorbed. Has a nice gentle fragrance, and the classic Loreal jar shape is great for l have a lack of space and l can stack the jars easily. My skin did feel and look more hydrated and refreshed, which makes my fine lines less visible.

My skin felt refreshed after applying this product and it lasted well throughout the day. I liked that it was quickly absorbed and didn't leave residue on the skin surface. Was also glad to see all the packaging can be recycled and instructions were given for this too.

I've been using this cream now for about 10 or so days. I did receive it as part of a trial team, but I can honestly say that it is making a difference already- tightening and improving the firmness and smoothness of my face & neck. The cream is aimed at the 50+ group focussing on anti-sagging and anti-age spots (some of the joys accompanying & after menopause!). I have no age spots to mention but definite anti-sagging is happening. The peachy coloured, lightly fragranced cream is reasonably thick but quickly absorbs well without feeling greasy. The packaging is the classic white/ gold L'Oreal cardboard outer and the cream is contained in a 50ml white opaque square glass pottle with a gold lid. Writing/ instructions on the outer package is large enough to read, except the ingredients- which need glasses. There doesn't appear to be any SPF in this cream so make sure you wear sun protection. I've been slathering the cream on so I estimate it will last me perhaps 6 weeks - 8 weeks My take on this is that it's worth a go if things are starting to head a bit downwards :)

I really enjoy using L'Oreal skin care products, I have never been disappointed in any of their products.

This is a day cream, the claims on the packaging are, after 1 day skin is intensely re-hydrated, more elastic and radiant. After 1 month sagging is visibly reduced by 15% and the contours of the face are visibly redefined.

I can attest to the 1 day claim, I was happy after the first day, my skin looked and felt great. I have used this cream for around 14 days and I am noticing my skin, especially around my eye area is looking firmer and younger.

The cream contains collagen amino acid fractions. These are found naturally in our skin and as we age we need more help to keep our skin firm. The cream also includes Melanin, this ingredient helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, which is particularly helpful for me.

The cream comes in a glass pot, 50mls. It is thick and luxurious with a very nice scent. It goes onto my face smoothly and absorbs well. I do give this day cream quite a while to absorb before I start my make up.

I have a few age spots and the usual fine lines and wrinkles one would expect from a woman of my age. I have moderately dry skin.

This day cream soaks into the skin with no residue or greasy aftermath. It is lightly scented, not unpleasant or overbearing, just a, dare-I-say-it, skin care-ry scent.

I have noticed a real reduction in the colouring of my age spots, whether this will continue I don't know, but even if the fading I've experienced so far was the max I was to get, I'd be blooming stoked!

Retightening is a bit of a scary word I think, I hate the thought of tight skin, it makes me think of that horrible over-cleansed feeling. Thankfully this doesn't feel anything like that! It feels good, a gentle firming sensation.

I love the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream. It glides on and my skin looks more hydrated, softer and smoother straight away. I particularly notice this when I am wearing makeup as my foundation no longer works its way into the fine lines around my eyes as they have started to smooth out and my skin is more hydrated. I also love that it doesn't feel sticky when I put it on and it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky either.

I picked this up in the vault along with the matching night cream, thanks BR. It comes in a nice simple looking jar which is quite heavy....with a screw on lid.

It has a nice floral fragrance but it might be strong for some people, I have sensitive skin so was a bit worried it might be a bit much for me but fortunately I got no irritation at all. Consistency wise it is thick, if you put a blob on your hand it's definitely not going anywhere.

A little bit goes a long way, it melts nicely into my skin and dries down with no sticky feeling left behind.  My makeup goes on smoothly overtop and sits well. I've been using this every morning for a month and my skin is definitely hydrated, I have no dry spots at all. It looks smooth and fresh, I have fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes which have softened and my face overall looks healthy.

I know this is aimed at 50 plus mature skin but I'm about to hit the big 40 this month and my skin just loves it. One thing I will say is I cant really find a difference between the day and night cream, they seem exactly the same...the only way I know is because one says night lol. I have enjoyed using it and would definitely buy it again.
