L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair Day Review

Loved this product. Not greasy our too fragrant. I'm sure it has improved my skin on the neck that was rather crepey looking from guessing sun damage. Easy to use. Recommending it here.

Another fabulous product from L’Oreal. It has to be one of my favourite brands as I’ve never really been let down by a product of theirs.

Again the jar looks expensive. Another amber jar which is appealing look wise and function wise protecting from sunlight.

The light coloured cream is thick and creamy.. but somehow light on the skin. This is why I don’t think you need a lot.. it spreads well and is absorbed so you don’t feel gunky. I would use a pea sized amount if that. It’s definitely a thicker consistency and doesn’t drip.

The scent again is light but there. It’s not sickly.

I put my sunscreen over the top which seemed to work well thank goodness as I do like to wear a sunscreen during the day. This cream was well suited to wearing my makeup over the top too.. it didn’t make it slide. Considering the amount of products I had on my skin I didnt feel like it was too much or too heavy.

I expected it to be heavy but it went across my skin being absorbed right in and hydrating it as it went. My skin was hydrated for the day even with my makeup over the top. I was really surprised. So if you have dry skin this is wonderful. I struggle to drink enough water and my skin is a bit thirsty given my age so this is perfect for dry skin.

On top of feeling hydrated I noticed my skin was soft and smooth. Makeup was easier to apply. It didn’t make my wrinkles disappear but it again softened the look by hydrating my skin and making me look fresher.

The ingredients sound wonderful and helpful. Manuka is so good for us so how can it not be good for our skin. A great nz ingredient.

The tub looked lovely and was easy for someone like me, who has arthritis, to open. The cream smelled lovely and was really thick and rich. I used this daily and found it a bit greasy, but it did seem to be great as a moisturiser for daily use and will continue to use this.

This is a paler, softer and rather creamier product than the Night Balm. Immediately after application there is, as to be expected with another honey infused product, a slight sticky feel to the skin but this soon vanishes and the skin is ready for any makeup.

I love the container this moisturiser comes in -reddish brown squat jar with a silvery gold screw top cap. The cream is thick and lemon lemon scented and with a wide openig in the jar easy to scoop product out. I love the feel of the cream when applying as it feels rich and nourishing however it is quite greasy and slightly sticky so hard to apply makeup over initially.Lovely to use on the make up free days but you do need to allow time to absorb . Other than this though I really like how my skin has softened with continuous use and I do feel there is a strong place for this moisturiser for me as I do have a very dry mature skin and this definately gives my skin a nice heathy feel and certainly puts more moisture back so I have a nice healthy glow. I only marked down slightly because of greasiness as even opening the container puts a greasy feel on the outside With continuous use I believe the product will last a good month which should be good value.

This rich cream is part of skin care system specially designed for certain ages. So it really understands the needs of your skin at the age you are at.

The cream comes in a trendy looking brown glass jar with a plastic twist off lid. There is also a second lid that just sits underneath the main lid, I have been told this helps to keep the air getting at your cream and drying it out, so a very handy item.

The cream is a pale,soft sort of creamy colour, pleasent to look at and makes you want to use it. It has a faint nice scent to it as well. It is a very thick cream indeed, you can hold the jar upside down and the cream will not come out.

I use this cream every morning, after applying the serum from the same range. I will do this early so it has time to absorb into my skin before I apply my make up. I find it absorbs well.

Since using this cream daily I have not noticed a great deal of difference, probably because of the short time I have had to trial it, however I do believe my skin is looking plumper and has more of a glow about it.

I will continue to use this day cream as I believe the results will more more noticeable after a longer time of use.

This cream comes in the same beautiful classy packaging as the other products in the L’Oréal Age Perfect Intense nutrition range. Inside it comes in the same cute screw top pot as the night cream.

The product is a pale honey gold colour and it a thick cream, though not quite as thick as the matching night cream. It doesn’t have any discernible scent, which is fine because there are plenty of other scents going onto my face, hair and body in the mornings! I’ve been applying it every morning after the serum and I love the result. It absorbs quickly and hydrates my skin, leaving a lovely soft base for my CC cream and foundation that follow with. It doesn’t take a lot to cover my face and neck, so it is pretty economical. I love thick creams and it’s hard to find such a rich day cream that absorbs so well – most day creams seem to be a lot thinner. It is a boon for my dry, mature skin and I love it. It claims to repair skin and de-crinkle within four weeks. I’m resisting the urge to be heavy handed so the product will last the four weeks, and will come back to comment when four weeks is up.

I’m really impressed with the results so far and recommend this product to all women with mature skin. I didn’t notice it irritated any sensitive areas of my skin either, by the way. Well done L’Oreal.

L"Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing Cream is the "day" version of a trial set of three items. All products contain Manuka Honey and Calcium B5, and are marketed for "mature and dry skin" which in my case is most appropriate. I read advertising that this cream is "high in minerals and essential nutrients".

A solid 50ml jar, dark brown in colour with a gleaming gold lid which has plastic seal colour, complete with easy-lift tab, houses this product.

After cleansing and then application of the serum, the day cream goes on very easily and smoothly. The cream is an attractive pale-gold colour with a very light, clean fragrance, although its texture felt more in line with a night product. I found it is a bit "solid" and rich, but so long as I kept quantity to a minimum the cream absorbed well and certainly my face and neck felt the benefit of good nourishment. Whether the "anti-sagging/anti-crinkle" claim is effective I have yet to decide, but certainly I have had comments about myself "looking bright" which must indicate some changes!

The quick absorption of both the serum and day cream allow for prompt application of primer and eventually foundation, all seem compatible and result in a flawless finish.

The day moisturiser come in a lovely glass jar and is a light apricot colour. It has a light undefinable smell. The packing it came in was great as it gave me all the details I needed to use it including a flow chart to show how to use with the other products in the same range, and the age group it is designed for. The jar has 50 ml's of product and in the 12 days I have had it I have used around 1/5th of the jar. The moisturiser has quite a thick consistency and I found it quite stiff when trying to apply and it needs to be massaged in. The first few uses I think I used too much and it left a greasy feeling a bit like a barrier creme, which I didn't really like. However once I reduced the amount I applied and massaged it in fully that greasy feeling only lasted for an hour or so and my skin did feel softer and protected. I feel I have not used this product for long enough to state any real effects other than my skin feels softer and appears slightly less saggy.

This rich repairing day cream absorbed very well into my dry thirsty skin and with its rich velvety texture it was easy to apply. Using gentle circular motions it soon sank in, and from then on my face continued to feel nourished - and even looked quite glowing which it hasn't done for a long time. I didn't need to use too much either which is an added bonus, but it absorbed well and felt good afterwards.
