L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Day Cream

I started using Age Perfect night cream and was really pleased with the results. My skin was softer and fresher looking. I liked it so much I decided to try the day cream to complement the night cream. I was a bit disappointed with the day cream as my skin wasn’t as I didn’t really see the same improvement with it. I haven’t finished the pot as I’ve been using the night cream more often.

Tips: If you have dry skin the Age Perfect night cream is fantastic for both day and night.

Manuka honey day cream

I used this day cream as part of a 3 product review. The cream comes in an amber glass pot with gold lid. I found it a little heavy, and needed to leave it 10 minutes min before putting on foundation On the up side i had no reactions (healing manuka honey)and it did seem to even out my skin tone (calcium?). Probably not my favourite cream but worth a go perhaps if you're 60+ with dry skin. Skin was more hydrated & slightly lifted after 2 weeks.

Tips: Use a spatula to scoop out cream if you're not keen on dipping in with your finger.

L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair

I bought this repair cream to add to my regime of L’Oréal products. I fully read the instructions which were clear and concise. The moisturiser box is packaged is creatively and very eye catching. The packaging would definitely catch the attention of the shopper who might not know the product and would compare it favourably to other merchandise in offer in the shelving. The colour of the cream is attractive and I have never seen a day moisturiser in this colour. It looks very expensive so those who buy it would not be disappointed. The consistency of the moisturiser was heavy and thick, was easy to apply with the fingertips, I moved it around in my fingers to get it to spread on in a thin coating. The absorption of the moisturiser was good but in a warm house it took a while, also when using when you’ve had a shower and your skin is warm? It took ages to soak in. It made my skin feel very moist right through the day, after having it on all day my skin still felt a bit greasy. The moisturiser was easy to put make up on top of the product. my skin felt moisturised right through the day.

Tips: Rub on fingertips before adding to face as the cream is very thick.

Perfect nutrition

Loved this product. Not greasy our too fragrant. I'm sure it has improved my skin on the neck that was rather crepey looking from guessing sun damage. Easy to use. Recommending it here.

Not Quite Perfect

I love the container this moisturiser comes in -reddish brown squat jar with a silvery gold screw top cap. The cream is thick and lemon lemon scented and with a wide openig in the jar easy to scoop product out. I love the feel of the cream when applying as it feels rich and nourishing however it is quite greasy and slightly sticky so hard to apply makeup over initially.Lovely to use on the make up free days but you do need to allow time to absorb . Other than this though I really like how my skin has softened with continuous use and I do feel there is a strong place for this moisturiser for me as I do have a very dry mature skin and this definately gives my skin a nice heathy feel and certainly puts more moisture back so I have a nice healthy glow. I only marked down slightly because of greasiness as even opening the container puts a greasy feel on the outside With continuous use I believe the product will last a good month which should be good value.

Tips: You can use a small spatula if not wanting to put fingers directly into container and also allow plenty of time for absorption prior to applying makeup.

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair

This rich cream is part of skin care system specially designed for certain ages. So it really understands the needs of your skin at the age you are at.

The cream comes in a trendy looking brown glass jar with a plastic twist off lid. There is also a second lid that just sits underneath the main lid, I have been told this helps to keep the air getting at your cream and drying it out, so a very handy item.

The cream is a pale, soft sort of creamy colour, pleasent to look at and makes you want to use it. It has a faint nice scent to it as well. It is a very thick cream indeed, you can hold the jar upside down and the cream will not come out.

I use this cream every morning, after applying the serum from the same range. I will do this early so it has time to absorb into my skin before I apply my make up. I find it absorbs well.

Since using this cream daily I have not noticed a great deal of difference, probably because of the short time I have had to trial it, however I do believe my skin is looking plumper and has more of a glow about it.

I will continue to use this day cream as I believe the results will more more noticeable after a longer time of use.

Tips: As there is no sunscreen included in the ingredients I advise you to apply one seperately.

Fabulous day cream

This cream comes in the same beautiful classy packaging as the other products in the L’Oréal Age Perfect Intense nutrition range. Inside it comes in the same cute screw top pot as the night cream.

The product is a pale honey gold colour and it a thick cream, though not quite as thick as the matching night cream. It doesn’t have any discernible scent, which is fine because there are plenty of other scents going onto my face, hair and body in the mornings! I’ve been applying it every morning after the serum and I love the result. It absorbs quickly and hydrates my skin, leaving a lovely soft base for my CC cream and foundation that follow with. It doesn’t take a lot to cover my face and neck, so it is pretty economical. I love thick creams and it’s hard to find such a rich day cream that absorbs so well – most day creams seem to be a lot thinner. It is a boon for my dry, mature skin and I love it. It claims to repair skin and de-crinkle within four weeks. I’m resisting the urge to be heavy handed so the product will last the four weeks, and will come back to comment when four weeks is up.

I’m really impressed with the results so far and recommend this product to all women with mature skin. I didn’t notice it irritated any sensitive areas of my skin either, by the way. Well done L’Oreal.

Tips: Apply after the serum every morning.

Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair Day Cream

The day moisturiser come in a lovely glass jar and is a light apricot colour. It has a light undefinable smell. The packing it came in was great as it gave me all the details I needed to use it including a flow chart to show how to use with the other products in the same range, and the age group it is designed for. The jar has 50 ml's of product and in the 12 days I have had it I have used around 1/5th of the jar. The moisturiser has quite a thick consistency and I found it quite stiff when trying to apply and it needs to be massaged in. The first few uses I think I used too much and it left a greasy feeling a bit like a barrier creme, which I didn't really like. However once I reduced the amount I applied and massaged it in fully that greasy feeling only lasted for an hour or so and my skin did feel softer and protected. I feel I have not used this product for long enough to state any real effects other than my skin feels softer and appears slightly less saggy.

Tips: Use less than you think, warm it up on your fingers first and then massage well

Intense nutrition for mature skin

L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing Cream is a moisturiser that is especially formulated for mature, ageing skin. The product contains Manuka honey which I know from articles is a powerful ingredient for skin repair. The addition of calcium helps to strengthen and plump skin with moisture. The packaging is very subtle, a bronze box highlighted with gold and black lettering. As well as listing the ingredients there is also a scientific explanation of the benefits of using Manuka honey and calcium. This is important to me as I like to know what I am applying to my skin. I like that L’Oreal have included a use by date for the product. The moisturiser is packaged in a reddish brown glass jar with a gold rimmed screw top lid. The jar is almost opaque which is great for keeping the light from impacting on the freshness of the cream. Unfortunately there is no spatula to scoop the cream from the pot making it a bit unhygienic. In the morning after cleansing my skin and applying the serum that is in this range, I smooth on the day cream. The cream is a light apricot colour. It is thick and silky in consistency and smooths effortlessly over my skin. I apply with gentle circular motions (as directed on the box) to my face and neck area. It glides on, without any dragging. It has a subtle scent, smelling faintly of honey, which is not overpowering in any way. I use the cream after cleansing and applying the serum and prior to applying my makeup. Only a very small amount was needed and it absorbed very well into the skin without leaving any residue behind or leaving a greasy feel. Applying foundation over the cream was very easy as the cream was a good makeup base. The only thing I would love to see in this cream is SPF – something my skin definitely needs in the NZ climate. It is a nuisance to have to apply a separate sunscreen on top of my day cream, especially when wearing make up. I have mature skin, which in winter develops patches of dryness, so I am always on the lookout for a cream that will increase hydration and plump the fine lines. After ten days using the product along with the night cream and the serum I have found the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing Cream to be very hydrating and firming. I am very happy with the results and my skin feels smooth, moist and hydrated all day long

Tips: Apply serum first and allow to dry before using the moisturiser sparingly as it glides easily on to the skin and absorbs well.

L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair

LÓreal claim this is a rich sumptuous cream. It sure is! However for a day cream I feel it is a little heavy but having said that, it isn't greasy. I looks like whipped butter, and has a very subtle fragrance. For the more mature skin we need a little more oomph in our moisturisers and this certainly delivers. It contains manuka honey for cell repair and calcium for densifying the skin and supporting skin tone. It also comes in a glass jar, not plastic, which is always a plus. I've used this for about a week and my skin is looking a bit firmer and fuller looking.

Tips: Wait a few minutes to let it be a little absorbed by your skin before applying your make up.
